So I booked 3 tickets from Orbitz from Joran Amman to JFK NY the flight was cancelled due to a strike, the airlines said I would have to contact Orbitz since I booked through them for a full refund and since it wasn't anything on my part. It's been about 2 and half months and they still haven't given me my refund. That's not the worst part I've called so many times have spent hours on the phone with them with only empty promises and every time I call I get put hold for 30 mins to an hour and when someone answers they act like they don't know what it is I'm talking about.

Good day, this is David Rankin, I booked a trip for two from cayman island to Dhaka Bangladesh on oct 12th. You guys charged my credit card then I received an email later that night stating my flight was canceled. I rebook two days later and flew out on the 15th. How ever emirates has still dot a hold on my account for roughly 2800 dollars. I have had no luck in getting ahold of someone to help me get this straight. Could someone please contact me It's been about a month now and they haven't taken the funds from my account but are holding it. I need it released. Thank you

todayI booked a hotel but Orbitz canceled my booking ..
I'm wonder what is the problem and why you didn't refund me the full amount?

Hi,
I am very disappointed with the service provided by Spirit Airlines. The flight was delayed and we were given the choice of paying $55 to take our small carry on bag in the cabin or pay $50 to check it in.

At the layover in Atlanta, they made all the passengers disembark and did not say that the plane would be boarding right away. From the time I got off, used the restroom and bought a bottle of water (since the plane would sell water for $3 and only take credit card) to the time I returned to sit at the gate, the plane had already re-boarded and left me stranded in Atlanta.

I spoke to the attendant at the gate and she was very rude and told me that I could either be put on standby for the flight leaving the following day (and added that I would likely not get a seat), or I could stay in Atlanta until Saturday.

I was not given any guidance on what to do or where to get help. I then had to go from airline to airline finding a flight that would take me to my final destination. After walking all over the airport and paying $506. with United Airlines so I wouldn't have to sit here in Atlanta for two days, I finally was able to sit down and rest.

I normally would just suck it up, given that I was taught to do that during my 9 year service in the U.S. Army and two deployments to a combat zone, but that same service has left me dealing with PTSD and upcoming hip surgery and I find it disturbing that I was treated this way when I have sacrificed so much.

My medication is now sitting in Philadelfia and I'm stuck here in tears dealing with the hip pain and emotional distress of not being able to take my PTSD and depression medication.

I know that this is not Orbitz responsibility but I wanted to let you know the horrible service that Spirit Airlines provides since you book flights with them. I hope that me sharing this leads to changes so that no disabled veteran has to go through what I am going through.

I'm writing to you about my experience with your company!
On 4/23/15 I booked a vacation for my family all-inclusive flight and hotel for 04/29/2015 pborb-162-856-7734
For a personal reason I did change a data to06/04/2015 and did pay all fee for hotel and flight with my visa card
My booking number was change to pborb-937-589-3124, get conformation on the e-mail
On the day of arriving to check in to airport agent at the desk can't find our tickets for 06/04/2015 saying our tickets still issue for 04/29/2015
All this 2hours 30 min to the flight
Call to customer service about ticket issue, on hold for a long time, airport agent advise me, not hang up the phone until the tickets are reissue in the system
Finally, after long wait, hold times and frustrating she told me your credit card never was charge due to card issue'?????
But nobody is informing me by e-mail or phone right away!
My credit card in good standing, I provide card again to reissue/rebooking a tickets
All this last an hour before a flight!
Dreadful experience! It's my first time booking a trip through orbiz
Not to mention, my handicapped/disable mother first time take vacation with family!
Back home and checking my credit card statement I find out $90 separate charge from orbiz which no one told me will be
I looked forward hear from you about solving and explaining how all this happened.

I had an unfortunate experience with Orbitz! This is the WORST company for travel. It is impossible to get anyone to speak with. Looks like I am going to have to pay for a ticket I "tried" to cancel. I am in collections over a ticket I never used. Orbitz never sent me a confirmation number and I had to buy the same flight directly with the airline. This is an expensive lesson. I will make sure I can reach a live person before I use another travel site OR Just use Southwest. THEY REALLY ARE THE BEST!

I need to know why you charged me for a room reservation and then cancelled it. $68.89 was taken out of my account and charged,. I went to the hotel and they said it was cancelled. I am very upset and I would like a refund ASAP to my banking account. I don't understand how your customer service can do this. My reservaion booking number is and the hotel conformation number . This reservation was schedule for May 15th, 2015. I would like to have my refund. This cost a big inconvienance for me.

What's to say never again bought vacation tickits on orbits over 6500 pulled the funds out of my checking next day canceled my tickit got the email tried to contact them and did not speak good English not able to tell me or refund my money back crazy ,,,so there answer was u have to email the orbitz revenue dept so u can get your money back HA ..never again by the way still haven't got a response or my money back ....

On the busiest day of the year Thanksgiving weekend (Sunday) 2014 customer service phones are all down - and have been down for several hours with no information as to when they estimate phone system will be backup and running.....

I have been on hold for 45 minutes. They never come on the line and let you know how long you are going to be waiting. Are they even there????? What do I do? I have a family emergency and I need to change a ticket or buy another one.....I need help???? Hire some more customer service reps. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I just wanted to change the dates. Had a hard time finding your tel. number. Waited for more than 1/2 an hour for this person to change the reservation. I ended canceling the whole thing. Your website is not customer service friendly. Why is so difficult to make changes. It was only one day that we have to change. I'm sure the hotel had enough rooms.

Customer Service need massive training. They are completely in the dark when it comes to offering help. Have been fraudulently charged and am trying to get it fixed. This is why I always use Travelocity and not Orbitz.

I purchased a ticket for my son to fly to see me and paid huge price because it was short notice. He suffered a stroke and the doctor forbid him to fly. No matter how much proof we supplied them with, they refused to refund my $635.00. Every time it was a new excuse; it was not legible, it must be on the hospital, doctor's letterhead, etc, etc. We jumped through all their hoops, spent more money on faxes, getting doctors to provide materials, etc. All we get is people in foreign countries who have been instructed to give the same answer everytime. NO. NEVER AGAIN will I ever buy a travel ticket noble and especially from Orbitz.

I just went through nearly an hour of hell trying to cancel a hotel reservation I made just this morning, I will NEVER use orbitz again. I made the reservation thru the alaska airline website. They took my $$$ within minutes. But when I needed to cancel the reservation, it was a nightmare of numerous phone calls.
