Ramsey Jeep is a joke. WORST "mechanics" ever. Probably kids out of high school with Zero experience. They couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. I will NEVER buy another Chrysler product ever again!!

Our Jeep 2014, original owner, has 53,000 miles needs new transmission!
Replaced the Info System in Feb 2022 which had been on fritz for 2 years.
Replaced the Powertrain!
My first call - no answers from them and was transferred.
Of course, no warranty. Told me no recall on those engines. However, not what the internet say. Should have been a massive recall on all. $10,561 cost

My wife and I purchased 2 brand new grand Cherokees in November of 2018.
From the beginning we have both had issues with the radio, gps and phone connection.
I have called the dealership and called corporate , with no help even after I told them I was almost in an accident because the gps blacks out when my phone rings, not the ideal situation for a realtor like my wife and I .
I am looking to have this fixed as soon as possible, I ask the dealership for a rental until it gets fixed but they told me I would have to call corporate.
All I can say is, if I do not hear from Jeep corporation I will be contacting the attorney general in regards to this and the lack of customer service for a potentially flawed system which can cause accidents.
I love the truck but HATE the technology!!!!!!

Called to inquire about the cruise control recall. She said there is not a remedy yet. Can you tell me how much longer.

We purchased a certified pre-owned jeep for my son March 2017 with 25,000 miles on it. Over the past 12 months, he put on only 5,000 miles. Let's fast forward to March 2018, he fails inspection and needs two front tires and a wheel alignment. In addition, where I got the car inspected, the owner said the struts and shocks need to be changed which should be covered under warranty. In addition, a piece of the under carriage snapped off. $500 later I call Town and Country and a few days later a manager, Dave returns my call and is nothing but rude to me. He claims that they can not do anything about the tires. If he was nice about it, I probably would have let it go, however, he should not be in the position that he has. During our conversation, about the 5000 miles, he even said that it being certified means nothing. That's rather pathetic for a manager.

So the saga continues when I bring the car to Merrick Dodge (who were wonderful) and they proceed to tell me that the car was involved in an accident which it never was. They told me that the undercarriage part that fell off clearly says Land Rover and was not supposed to be on this car. In addition, they said that the right front strut was leaking and the control arm was bent and was not factory installed. This now cost me another $150 for them to evaluate the car and do nothing. These to me were the most distressing. The salesman pulled the car fax and we were told (actually lied to) that the car was not involved in any accident.
Is it common practice to install non-factory parts on a certified used car? This is disgusting. So I was actually forced back to Town and Country where Diane was originally sweet and said they will look at the car. Sadly when I went to pick up the car she became pro-dealer. She said everything was fixed and would never admit fault. She claims the Land Rover part wasn't even necessary so nothing was ever installed. I kept asking her about the after market parts and she kept saying, you're good. Everything is fixed.
I was planning on getting my daughter a Jeep. However, due to their lying and rudeness I will never step foot back in that dealership. Avoid this dealership like the plague.
I do plan on sending an email to corporate as I am out $650 and left with a horrible taste in my mouth thanks to Town and Country Jeep. Just an awful experience.

Great service. I went to my Jeep dealer today and inquired as to the status of my JL 2-Dr on order since 12/22. He provided a VIN# and Order Number. Last report was either building or built, unknown. Two hours later, I called Jeep customer service and was told it was in KZ status, meaning built and sent to shippers. Very friendly agent. I requested a call back from her supervisor so that I could give a personal acknowledgement of the fine service.

After owning 3 Jeeps over the past 30 years and driving my last Grand Cherokee Larado to 225K miles, I was just informed by your "customer service" department that the defective piece that fell off of my Jeep Patriot rear lift gate is not anything you would consider assisting me in getting replaced. Cannot begin to tell you how disappointed in the lack this defective product being stood behind. I am looking forward to sharing this story on social media.

I have a 08 2 wheel drive Jeep Compass and I got 45 mile-an-hour head-on collision with a brick structure and the airbags did not go off I'm not happy about it I'm about to talk to my lawyer and see if I can take legal action

This is my third and final jeep. It's a 2013 Patriot. I owned a 99 and 02 Cherokee. They both had high miles. And they still ran better that this 13. The motor runs rough, as no power, runs flat. I have had more trouble with electrical system. I am replacing rear light bulbs, every two or three months. The Jeep dealer also the tie rods will need to replaced. I thought it was the tires shimming. The Jeep only has 66,980 miles on it. Also the deprecation goes so fast. I have been paying extra just to try and catch up. Maybe you should buy this back from me. But you are already aware of the problems,

Leased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from fields in glenview il. Had a question about my lease. Called fields and found out our salesman from 3 months ago was gone. Asked for the sales manager to call me and he never did. Received an email to review my Jeep experience. How could I, the sales manager never called me back. I called customer care and left a message. They never called me back either.

So in a nutshell, I will probably not lease another Jeep and if I did, it certainly wouldn't be from fields in glenview, il

After watching you current ad featuring "Halsey,"I am completely convinced that I will purchase any of your products. Your ad department should be drawn and quartered.

March 7 2017

Hello and Greetings to all Recipients

I have recently purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland miles from Shuman Chrysler/Jeep/Ram in Walled Lake Michigan. I love this vehicle! Changing from a self-maintained (ASE Master) 2000 Ford Explorer 4X4 with 300,783 miles that still runs like a top (and which I have also loved) to the Cherokee is a big change from a technological standpoint. The Explorer was built during a period when manufactureââ?¬â?¢s still built vehicle that were essentially SUV bodies put on truck chassisââ?¬â?¢, which I also find preferable. Side by side, the Explorer and the Cherokee are almost identical in dimensional size and driver seat positioning, which were key point for choosing the Jeep. The Explorer has never failed me. I work in Tire and Wheel Development at the General Motors Proving Grounds (Milford) and have endured every ââ?¬Å?Exploderââ?¬Â? joke in the world. The four-wheel drive V6 power train has never broken; and I have at times put it to serious task. I researched for almost three months to find a (domestic) vehicle that most represented and replicated all the ââ?¬Å?old schoolââ?¬Â? strength feature of the Explorer but in a more up to date package. The Cherokee was the only vehicle that came close.

The only thing that the Explorer has on the Cherokee is this:

I am visually handicapped and totally colorblind. The gauge (instrument) cluster on the Explorer has white needles for the tachometer, speedometer and gauges with a black background (high contrast). The Cherokee has red needles with a black background and as such are virtually indistinguishable (to my eye) from each other. Is there anything that could be done to help me in this difficulty?

Thank you

My wife and I have spent the better part of the month trying to order a grand Cherokee diesel. We live inTaos NM part time and Atlanta the remains part of the year. We have contacted dealers in Santa Fe as well as atlanta and have so far been told the diesel is off the market, has been stoped by the EPA, is not legally available in the US.
We have a 4500 lb camper and need the high torque that the diesel produces.
Please give us the straight and narrow for this option.
If it is available who can order it and how long will the process take.
Thank you for helping with this difficult task. Over my lifetime of 71 years, I have never had this much trouble buying a vehicle.

I bought a Jeep Compass Latitude on Oct. 4th and it went back into the service dept for the next 2 weeks to fix problems that convinced me that the certified used car was indeed not certified. It has gone back into the shop 4 times since then. There is a noise under the hood that sounds like a jack hammer. I was told that was normal. No ! Its not normal. I've had 3 jeeps and have friends that have jeeps and this is not normal. Short of selling this jeep, what can I do to take care of the jack hammer under my hood ?

I called to asked about a rear warning i was receiving for my 2014 grand cherokee. I was told that they were not technical. What good is Customer Service help line if they cannot answer questions concerning the vehicle? If i wanted to rely on only the dealership i would have called the dealership.

I called Country Club Jeep/Chrysler in Clarksburg, WV 2 times on Thursday, December 29 and spoke to two separate people about a recall on our Wrangler. Both times they took our name, number, and VIN and said they would call back. That was 3 days ago! Now it will be 5 days at the earliest if they call at all.

Rairdons Jeep in Monroe Washington is extremely unethical in their business practices and they will attempt to deceive you and make everything about the purchasing process difficult and stressful. They made me lose valuable time for the past MONTH (yes, month) because of paperwork they forgot to have me signÃ?and I havent received my plates or any information about my loan payment or schedule. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER and the Jeep organization in general.

It all started when I was quoted a price for my lease over the phone and I told them to please not waste my time with shifty sales tactics when I get there and they said ¢ï¿½ï¿½that¢ï¿½ï¿½s the price you¢ï¿½ï¿½ll pay¢ï¿½ï¿½. When I got there, they gave me a monthly price that was more than DOUBLE what they quoted over the phone with a down payment significantly higher as well. The manager ¢ï¿½ï¿½ I think his name was Steve then came back with a closer price but the down payment was too high. I told him to put half the down payment into the monthly payments and that we still needed to get the residual higher to bring the monthly payments down. He said ¢ï¿½ï¿½you can¢ï¿½ï¿½t put any of the down payment into the monthly¢ï¿½ï¿½ and I chuckled and said ¢ï¿½ï¿½why not¢ï¿½ï¿½ and he said ¢ï¿½ï¿½because you can¢ï¿½ï¿½t¢ï¿½ï¿½. Are we in a 4th grade fight?

At that point I stormed out and laughed at this joke of a manager for losing an easy sale and then Manny a new manager chased me down and assured me to finally be fair and talk real business. I agreed and he changed everything about the deal. The residual value was higher. He rolled half the down payment into the monthly payments and got closer to the price I was originally quoted. I agreed to move forward and then they came back with a higher price b/c my credit score was 674 and I got moved into ¢ï¿½ï¿½bracket 2¢ï¿½ï¿½, which makes sense in theory, but you can usually put more money down to get back to tier one which I was open to. He said there was no flexibility there.

NOW THE REAL SCAMMING AND TROUBLE BEGINS. They called 2 weeks after the sale was settled saying ¢ï¿½ï¿½they forgot to have me sign some paperwork and I needed to come in¢ï¿½ï¿½. I told them no way b/c I live an hour away with traffic and I never heard of such a thing. I¢ï¿½ï¿½m thinking ¢ï¿½ï¿½what kind of scam is this¢ï¿½ï¿½? They agreed to send me the paperwork to sign and send back. This was a super hassle for me b/c I travel quite a bit for work so I had to go out of my way to find a scanner to email them back. After reading the paperwork, it seemed fine so I went out of my way to do what they asked and sent it back to them.

I then found out there was no manual for the jeep, so I had to call customer care to get a copy. The next week, the same guy called back and said ¢ï¿½ï¿½We need you to come in and sign paperwork we forgot to have you sign¢ï¿½ï¿½. I chuckled and said ¢ï¿½ï¿½you called me last week and I already went out of my way and took care of that¢ï¿½ï¿½. The guy said ¢ï¿½ï¿½No, these are OTHER DOCUMENTS we need you to sign¢ï¿½ï¿½. He overnighted the paperwork this time that I needed to overnight back, but he asked me to come there again. Now I¢ï¿½ï¿½m really thinking SCAM and it has proved to be true (keep reading).

Here I am, one MONTH later since I left the lot with the vehicle and I have not received any info about my lease payment and I was never called about the plates. They said I¢ï¿½ï¿½d receive the plates in 2-3 weeks and I¢ï¿½ï¿½ll get something about the lease in about a week. Since it¢ï¿½ï¿½s been a while, I called the dealer stating I never receive either and they said someone in finance would call me back at 9:30am. It¢ï¿½ï¿½s noon and still no call, so I called the same finance guy I dealt with about the paperwork mishaps and he said ¢ï¿½ï¿½that¢ï¿½ï¿½s strange ¢ï¿½ï¿½ let me look into it and I¢ï¿½ï¿½ll call you right back¢ï¿½ï¿½. He also said ¢ï¿½ï¿½We¢ï¿½ï¿½ll mail you the plates when we get them and had no explanation as to why it¢ï¿½ï¿½s taking so long¢ï¿½ï¿½. It¢ï¿½ï¿½s now 4pm and no call back, so I called the same guy and said I was just following up. He said that I should ¢ï¿½ï¿½Google - Chrysler Capital¢ï¿½ï¿½ and I can make a payment online and didn¢ï¿½ï¿½t know why I didn¢ï¿½ï¿½t receive a welcome packet.

I then did just that and logged into Chrysler Capital to find out my next payment due is HIGHER THAN WHAT¢ï¿½ï¿½s ON THE LEASE AGREEMENT I have. I then called them and they said, your taxes came out to be higher, so that got rolled into your monthly payment. I was beyond livid and said that is illegal to the customer service women and still unsure who they can get away with such a thing. My paperwork has a totally different payment amount.

Now I¢ï¿½ï¿½m so upset and livid, I¢ï¿½ï¿½m shaking so I call Jeep customer service explaining the situation stated above and they were very apologetic and said they created a case and someone will be contacting me right away. Still no response from the dealer, Jeep or Chrysler Capital. Please be careful and stay away from these people. Ive never been so deceived in my life. I guess they just don¢ï¿½ï¿½t give a you know what about people.

Here I am still no plates, a higher amount due tomorrow than whatÃ? stated on my lease agreement and no follow up from anyone. What do I do? I hope someone with a kind heart reads this and helps me. Im not holding my breath however.

I purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty Jet last August from Southern Jeep in Chesapeake, VA. Fully loaded, less than 45k miles. Purchased Easy Care warranty. Few months later the alarm would go off by itself leaving a mesh the gate was ajar. Googled this problem and found out history of water leaking into the hatch lock area. Got the sensor replaced and problem solved. Warranty covered it. Now over a year later I am having the same problem with alarm going off and same msg all after a hard rain. Took Jeep in today at dealership and was told the sensor is covered but not finding the leak which will be $125 per hour to find it. I also wanted the thermostat replaced because I have NO heat in the Jeep. Was told today that isn't covered because the thermostat is clogged and not defective so it will cost me $1,300.00 to fix so I can have heat in the Jeep. If it is clogged then it is defective!!!!! So I have a freezing Jeep that will sound its alarm every time it rains. I am very upset that my contract isn't helping fix my car. This will be my last Jeep I purchase and the last one from this dealership. I drove over 100 miles one way to come back to the dealership where I bought the Jeep (I live in Richmond, VA and the dealership is in Chesapeake, VA). I really need to get these two problems fixed especially under the warrant I purchased. Any advice????

I have a complaint about getting parts to the dealerships from their supply source. I own a great jeep renegade the problem is the radio does not work properly. The dealership Don Davis of Arlington Texas has always treated me great and have had anew radio on order for over a month. This not the way to keep customers.

The car that need a backup camera the most doesn't have backup camera. I talking about the Jeep Wrangler's line. A car that look so nice and capable of all terrance like the Jeep Wranglers should've HD backup cam and night vision.
