In early November of 2017 I began having difficulty with my HTC 10 in keeping connected to WiFi. By mid-November I could not connect to WiFi at all. No problem, I had purchased the replacement protection, so I contacted customer support on November 22, 2017 for a swap.

On November 23, 2017, HTC sent me tracking information for my replacement phone along with instruction on what to do once it arrived. I waited. I see a hold charge appear on my credit card. I waited. Waited a little more. I check the tracking number on December 4, 2017 and see the replacement phone hasn't even shipped yet.

I call customer service who says they don't know what's going on and say they'll hand this over to an expediter, a guy named GENO. This GENO will be getting back to me with details. Ok, fine.

A week goes by. I call customer service. They tell me that only Geno can help me, and that they'll bang him off an email to contact me. Well, 5 days after that Geno does call me, gives me the "we're a bit back-logged please be patient, I will personally make this right." Fine, thanks GENO, keep me updated when you can.

Long story short, I have been calling HTC 2-3 times a week now for the last 45-DAYS trying to find out where my replacement phone is. All I get is "GENO is aware. GENO will be getting back to you. GENO is handling this case", etc, etc, etc. Where's GENO?? I don't know. I'm beginning to think that one and only communication I've had with GENO was a figment of my imagination.

I have been hearing for 45-DAYS now that Geno will be giving me a call, an email, a carrier pigeon, a back-rub, whatever. NOTHING.

Zero communication from HTC, which is really all I'm asking for. Zero Customer Service. It's so disappointing. I've been a loyal HTC customer, along with my immediate family, since 2009. I've sung their praises, recommended their products, and thought I had that whole mobile phone thing covered so long as they continued to make them.

No more. I'm done. Over two months to get a replacement phone and still waiting. No communication, everything has been generated on my end. It took them two seconds to charge my card and then they just sort of swept the whole thing under the carpet.

This has been on of the worst customer service experiences with a defective product I've had in recent memory.

When my m8 looses power and I power it back up the home sense feature stops working. This has happened 3 times in the last few weeks. It's time for me to upgrade my phone in which I was aiming for the m10 but after this last error I'm done with HTC. I've lost so many projects because of this stupid phone.
Lost all my notes time and time again.
I wish I never ever purchased this phone. I'm usually a loyal customer to whom ever company I choose but I can't deal with this hectic company/phone anymore thanks for nothing.

I recently completed a hardware update on my HTC. Prior to the update everything was functional, now the things I like most DO NOT WORK.

The vibrate no longer functions, the words disappeared on volume control not to mention half the options. The changes I made to save space by uninstalling programs gave been installed and can't be removed. What the f%%k how do I get the older version back . It also took away the remove all on the navigation page the little circle with an x. This sucks. It all was there prior. I am very unhappy no I am f%%%ing furious. I want all the the way ur was.

Me and my husband's HTC phones are messing up only had them 4 months first facebook quit working then messenger now my husband's is doing same thing what is going on I try to install facebook it's blank we reset them still does it had to uninstall facebook messenger but on my laptop I have no problem just our mobile phone

I have a very hard time reading the stencil print on HTC Desire 626. I can't find a way to change it.

I bought a HTC desire 610 in June of 2015, I loved the phone. I ended up in the hospital for emergency service, I had my phone with me. Well the phone died. By this I mean it would do nothing. I am the hospital so my daughter took back to where I had purchased the phone please keep in mind the phone was still under warranty,however the salesman said their was nothing he could do, however my daughter could buy me another phone. She did that because she trusted the salesman even though that was handled in the most improper way. After my release I tried to handle this matter but kept getting the run around from the place I bought it. The worst is yet to come you your company HTC were of no help to me either. The warranty run out in June so you took no responsibility for the product that you make and sale.I paid $300.00 for that phone which didn't last one year. I took very good care of that phone it looks brand new. Not a single flaw could be found on the phone. I want to the you for your kind and caring service

I bought an HTC mini 2 in May this year which has always had a problem with the mouth piece. When I make a call the other person cannot hear me

I have purchased htc816g MOBILE on 28th june & on 10th july it got hang. so i went to shop for enquiry, they sent it to htc service centre on 13th july. But still date have not recd. the same nor any status. and from last 10 days thier phone lines is not working.
Every time they assured me that u will get it very soon. but till date have not recd.
so look in to this matter & return me asap.

I have recently purchased an H T C Desire 610 phone & found it to be the most akward phone to use , It is not helped by the fact that there is no user/instruction manual sent with this item when purchased. Therefore i shall not be using this phone & at the very least i shall be returning this phone to my line provider.

I have purchased 3 htc chargers because my phone while charging became extremely hot sparks coming out of the charger and smoke!, all 3 times if I had fallen asleep my furniture and I would have been burned by the fire it almost started!, I think class action lawsuit I want my money back and noticed online HTC has had this problem for over 3 years! Time to take action!

Bought a HTC one 8 months ago. The phone got so hot we could not hold it and it cracked the screen. I lived with it due to trying to find time to contact someone. My phone got hot again and totally shut down and would not turn on again. Contacted HTC and was told to send phone in. Stated that I need a new control board and a USB. I asked why I would have to pay for this when the phone is less than a year and asked how that could have happened. They are unable to answer any of my questions. I don't know why the board went out or the USB. They said they put the phone on for 5 minutes and could not duplicate the heat issue. I explained to them this did not happen all the time only happened twice and both time something happened to the phone. I asked to talk to their processing department and said that I was not allowed. I asked for a manager and was told they would tell me the same thing he told me. Asked to get a email of what was said about my phone and also was told I could not have that information. All they tell me is I need to replace the screen on the phone for another $160.00. Wow that make my phone total cost over $600.00.yeah not. Will write a complaint everywhere I can and will complain to all.

I think your Customer service is crap. My phone takes purple pictures and your solution is send my phone to you at my cost for the shipping and insurance and I'll be out a phone for 7-10 days. Which the solution to that is go buy a temporary phone for the 7-10 days which is more money out of my pocket. I didn't break the phone it is your malfunction so tell me why any money has to come out of my pocket?

I use htc inspire 4G and i have recently taken a 3G internet plan. But the problem is my phones setting is on 2G mode and i nd to enable 3G as such was said by the network operator. But i cant. Need to know how to change it to 3G/wcdma mode...

Was satisfied with Barb but guess once she wrote repair ticket it went to another department and got put aside, not a good thing for me. Not good for customer image of company.

to all listening i just to buy htc phone and i find these a problem so i send to repair and come back sill the same so i send again but is no new waste my time take about 2 week they can not do it is that very bad srevice this product so anyone can help me to send mail to the company make bad complain the technician never do he job is a very very bad srevice so hope i am sure never buy this product again

i brought a new htc desire u dual sim on 25th june and on 1st august it got dead.i was told that itsthe problem with thwe mother board and thy r not even willing to replace the handset and its almost 14 days i havent got my handset back... u ppl suck cos u ppl sell such a faulty and 4th grade handsets.. the customercare ppl dnt even give the contact nos of regional office... pls help ppl

They do not guarantee their product. That is like having no lemon law cause then anyone could be able to sell any type of product and if it dont work like they say it is suppose oh well buy another. It is the pick of the litter i guess!! Hmm interesting.

i have an HTC amaze, other than thebattery power sucking, it is a wonderful phone. super powerful, can handle multitasking great with the 1.6mhz dual core processor and 1gb of memory. the internal memory is 16gb and you can have up to a 32gb sd card. the wireless and cellular connection is especially fast through t-mobile and the phone is damn near indestructable. i have dropped my phone many times and not a scratch on the glass until i dropped it from my truck while moving down the street. the drop from the truck only put a tiny surface scratch on the display that can only be seen in the light.

I have the HTC amaze I already had to replace this phone 4 timed, they keep telling its the battery and it keeps happening again now my year warranty is out the there's nothing they can do to help me. There customers service is awful. DO NOT RECOMMEND HTC PHONES TO ANYONE.
