Bought a HTC one 8 months ago. The phone got so hot we could not hold it and it cracked the screen. I lived with it due to trying to find time to contact someone. My phone got hot again and totally shut down and would not turn on again. Contacted HTC and was told to send phone in. Stated that I need a new control board and a USB. I asked why I would have to pay for this when the phone is less than a year and asked how that could have happened. They are unable to answer any of my questions. I don't know why the board went out or the USB. They said they put the phone on for 5 minutes and could not duplicate the heat issue. I explained to them this did not happen all the time only happened twice and both time something happened to the phone. I asked to talk to their processing department and said that I was not allowed. I asked for a manager and was told they would tell me the same thing he told me. Asked to get a email of what was said about my phone and also was told I could not have that information. All they tell me is I need to replace the screen on the phone for another $160.00. Wow that make my phone total cost over $600.00.yeah not. Will write a complaint everywhere I can and will complain to all.
