I know am joining the "I hate Fandango" club, and vow to never use them again. I'd rather show in person to have the show sold out, than buy from them online.

I accidentally purchased tickets for a Friday night show, when I intended it to be for Saturday. Within moments of realizing my error, I contacted customer service. Was on hold for 1/2 hour before my turn. And because my tickets didn't allow 2 hours before the show, there was ZERO FLEXIBILITY OFFERED. There just has to be better customer service than this.

I even went so far then to make the purchase for Saturday night, hoping it would prove to the customer service agent I called on the phone that an error was made. It didn't make a difference at all.

Its christmas night December 25,2015. I spent $45 on fandango gift cards for my children. I took them to the theater and purchased the tickets while i was there. The first ticket was mistakenly purchased at the wrong theater the second was purchased at correct theatre. I called fandango customer service was on hold for over 20min the first time only for the agent to tell me she could not refund or change my ticket to the correct theater. I asked for supervisor was placed on another 10min hold only to get a voicemail.

Hung up and called again no one absolutely no one was willing to HELP. I was transferred again to a supervisors voicemail. Left a message. Unfortunately i lost $16 because one ticket was wto.g the other was right but my two teenager's was not going alone to the movies so they went home. Talking about a horrible ending. Fandango messed up Christmas night that my 13&14 yr old daughters were looking forward to.


To add insult to injury they gave me the wrong address to corporate office and told me there is no email or telephone number. They are bad bad company and people and will. NEVER EVER in my life use them again. I will tell everyone i no the same thing not use them. They take your money with no problem but refuse to help you with their product!

There must be some better business bureau that can shut Fandango down. I waited about 2 hours for the online chat to get a refund, from number 250 until number 9, when I was disconnected. I tried again, and again was disconnected. I called their customer service and was waiting over 45 minutes when a recorded voice asked me if I was satisfied with the service to press 3, dissatisfied press 4. I pressed 4 and received a thank for using Fandango...then I was disconnected yet again. I had purchased tickets of $105 value. Once you try to get a refund, the website lets you know that you cannot get one online for purchases greater than $100. No way to contact Fandango. They have stolen my money.

I received a Fandango gift certificate for $75.00 and I tried twice to use it and cannot get thru their unbelievable red tape which doesn't work anyhow.

I put in my password - it's not accepted so I apply for a new password and get a temporary password which they won't accept.
After three tries they accept the temporary password but you must immediately change to one of your choosing. I do this but now they say the "confirm password" doesn't agree with the one I choose. I keep putting it down. I know I am writing it correctly. After many tries I get past that hurdle and when I now try to pay with the gift card and it's new password, I cannot use it because someone else has used it for this purchase.

Unfortunately, I think the person who sent this gift in good faith was cheated out of $75.00.

Horrible customer service. Site is full of glitches. Unable to confirm if I have tickets or not even though I put in my credit card information. Called the theatre and they stated that they do not deal with Fandango and I will need to purchase tickets in person to ensure that I DO or DO NOT have tickets to a movie

I received two (2) Fandango $15 gift cards, however I'm have a difficult time trying to get theaters that accept Fandango. I do not have a personal computer and I'm using a computer in The Villages Florida complex. I would like to use the gift cards in The Villages, FL 32159 or Mentor, Ohio 44160. Please assist me by calling me at Mrs. Zingale Thank You

Purchased tickets using Fandango. Never recieved the confirmation. Called customer service and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Will NEVER use this service again. Wish I had looked at thier ratings prior to purchasing the tickets online. Bought lesson is the best one. Never again.

I used fandango for the first time and will not use them again bought tickets had to pay a convenience fee and then still had to wait in the ticket line for the movie I want to see cause that only means you bought the ticket not that you have tickets. not worth the time or extra money!

I am amazed how difficult it is to cancel an order. I used Fandango for the first time last week (Probably my last), accidentally bought tickets for the film I wanted in a different state. I can not get through to anybody to cancel the order or refund . All you get is a reply from there help desk:

I purchased tickets, received confirmation and got charged. Little did I know, I paid for nothing. I do not have tickets. I contacted Fandango via Live Chat and spoke with Shelly and Oberto. Both told me I have to wait "24 hours" to get a response, and it's not guaranteed that I will even have tickets. All I wanted was guarantee that I have my tickets for the date and time I purchased for. What did they say? "To guarantee that you have tickets, you will need to repurchase." Excuse me? Why would I re-purchase when the first time I did, I don't even have tickets? Does that logically make any sense?



Not to mention, afterwards they just ended the live chat rudely.



Thanks for nothing, truly appreciate the incompetence, Fandango.

Early Saturday morning I emailed Fandango minutes after purchasing movie tickets per Fandango's instructions for cancellations. I received an email from Fandango later that day stating that I should expect hear back from them within 24 hours. The next email I received is 24 hours later (Sunday) thanked me for my purchase with no mention of my request to cancel the tickets. $24 dollars down the drain. I was on hold for over an hour with Fandando after receiving this email as well I will not ever use their services again

Fandango sucks sooo bad! You are not convenient at all since I can't swipe ur card like every other gift card. I have to go to your site , which by the way charged me a convenience fee, even though this was totally INCONVENIENT!  Thank God I got matinee since you charge that dirty tricky fee! I tried to buy the ticket for 11:15 & couldn't because it was 11:16! it's not like the theatre was even half full! Don't  you think you should leave it up to me if I want to be one minute late to my movie! Just ridiculous! I will be avidly against Fandango from here on out!

i think fandango is full of it! they charge my credit card and did not give me tickets for the movies nor conformation No. there support center you can not get threw any other No. do not work you can not speak to anyone never use the fandango cause they take your money!!!!!! they suck! they charge my account $28.50 and now i have to wait to fight this sh$t of a fandango for my money back!!!!!!!!

Purchased tickets with fandango given to me as Christmas gift. Charged "convenience fee" at AMC theater (Ontario,CA) that does not allow pre-printed tickets or mobile app entry. Upon arrival still have to go to ticket booth to acquire tickets. Therfore your gift cards are not a free gift and NO convenience is provided to the card holder. When I asked why this theater does not allow pre-printed tickets I was told to talk to Theater Magr. (not my job). If theater does not comply Fandango should not deal with that theater.
