Unfortunately, I should have read all of the customer comments before placing an order with Samsung for a battery for a Galaxy Note 4. I placed the order the battery in November 2017. Instead of receiving a battery for the Note 4 I received a protective case for a Galaxy S8, which was shipped from Samsung's Plainfield, Indiana facility. After returning the protective case, (the process of returning the incorrect item itself was more of an ordeal than it should have been) I am still waiting for the refund to be posted to my credit card account nearly three months after placing the original order. The amount involved is not that significant, but the delay is inexcusable and raises the question of whether delay is intentional or merely the result of incompetence. I believe it is the former. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission will be notified of what appears to be a deceptive trade practice if the refund is not posted to my account by noon EST on Wednesday, February 7, 2018
