I am retired and build custom computers as a hobby. Recently a local business owner and personal friend fried the motherboard on his main office computer. No problem for me - right. I ordered a new motherboard from Tiger Direct that would take his good 775 3.4Ghz CPU, and a 128 GB SSD hard drive that I was going to install the new opperating system on. Since the board required DDR3 memory I also ordered 8Gb of DDR3. I knew when I placed the order that the motherboard was coming from a 3rd party vendor and would take a little longer. But I have had the SSD hards drive and the memory sitting on my counter for a week now and there is no sign of the motherboard. As far as the tiger direct site goes it is shown as still not shipped.
So now I have an upset customer who will probably now not be happy no matter what I do and I can't get Tiger Direct to tell me when I might see this motherboard.
This is terrible service and Tiger Direct does not deserve anyone's business if this is the way they operate.
