member # 510549: A Vickers I attempted to make contact with a human and was told the office was closed at 5:15 PM, that was to tell about an issue dealing with the foreign dude attempting to rent a car at Pensacola
The rep was very hard to understand and needed to repeat several times to understand basic words; suspecting that there might be a problem I checked with the Budget rep today at the airport and he had no record of my reservation/....forcing me the call again and speak with another with a heavy accent. Turned out that the first contact had placed the car under my first name Anthony instead of my last name Vickers. I felt obligated to let you know of this unacceptable service for which you are paying. I do appreciate the opportunity rent a car at a savings but this was a bad experience. /s/ A Vickers

OH WHERE DO I START!!! MY GRANDMA HAD USAA AS MY GRANDFATHER WAS IN WAR AND GRANDMA SWORE THEY WERE "THE BEST". DEC 21 2011 WAS A MAJOR ICE STORM NO ONE KNEW UNTIL EVERYONE WAS OUT ON THE ROADS AND THE "DISASTER" HAPPENED! ON MY SHORT COMMUTE TO WORK I ENDED UP HITTING 2 GAURD RAILS...FIRST TIME EVER DOING THAT AND A LAST. WILL NEVER GO OUT IN THAT AGAIN. I HAD A RENTAL FOR A WEEK AND ALL THEY CARED ABOUT WAS ME GIVING IT BACK...WHEN AS A MOM ALL I TRIED WAS GIVING MY DAUGHTER THE BEST CHRISTMAS. THE ADJUSTER NEVER CALLED ME BACK..NOTHING. I MAILED RECIEPTS OF OVER $700 AND THEY INCREASED THE VALUE BY $88- SLAP IN THE FACE. IT TOLD ME THEY NEEDED THE $ MORE THAN ME. BROKEN PROMISES NO CALL BACKS BY NO ONE. BUT THEY CAN GET THERE MONTHLY PYMNTS! TO ALL OF YOU SERVING OUR COUNTRY OR WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART GOD BLESS! THANKS FOR KEEPING US SAFE!

STAY AWAY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE MILITARY-THEY LACK COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS AND HAVE CAUSED A FAMILY TO HAVE TWO CLOSING DATES CANCELLED AND ARE UNABLE TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER FOR A FINAL DATE.

I use and love USAA for everything Home and Auto insurance and banking. They have shown me executive level customer service every time I have called them. Every time. I cannot imagine the negative reports that I have just read. I am not special they just treat me that way.

Horrible service in mortgages. Phone calls and emails aren't returned. I have no idea what is going on. Switching processors and talking with supervisors did not help at all. Save yourself weeks of legwork and headaches by going with anyone else!

I was involved in an accident involving a USAA policyholder. The service I received was poor to say the least. Once USAA accepted liability the young lady handling my claim was very rude and not helpful to say the least!! She never returned my calls I was assisted by other reps. When I finally spoke with her she informed me that since the repair time was longer than five days I would have to pay for my own car rental, they only would cover five days. She also tried to tell me that I would HAVE to choose a shop that had the parts on hand and could not wait to have them ordered. What auto body shop carries Mazda parts “ON-HAND”?!!! When all was said and done I chose the shop I wanted and they paid for the full rental. USAA has very poor customer service and made me feel as if it was my fault for being rear-ended!!!

I work in Afghanistan as a contractor and phone USAA to have them transfer monies from my Bank in Louisiana to my USAA account. The representive three days ago told me it was no problem for he had all the information in his system to do it. Today I phone again for the same transaction and this representive and his manager stated no. They said we dont know you. I gave them my social security card, along with my code passwork date of birth, mialing address etc. etc. Highly dissappointed for the double standard the employees operate in their capacity.

I have been with USAA for 48 years. I always thought of USAA as an umbrella company. I had rented a car with my uSAA Visa card and had a small problem. I contacted USAA auto insurance. After several days I was informed the loss was covered less the deductable. I contacted Visa and was told they would cover the rest. Now the problem, I thought everyone was in sync. I found out that Visa claims can not talk to Visa billing. Visa claims can not talk to USAA insurance. Every bit of information had to be requested through me from one agency to another. This all took six weeks and should have been done in less than two. It also put an undue stress on me, the customer.
