Have a practically new Power Clear 721 single stage Snowthrower bought new at Ace Hardware in Loveland CO last winter. Put approximately 3 hrs of nice use on it & worked great. Went to start 2 weeks ago in garage for use on first snow here & wouldn't start manual or electric. Have good fresh regular grade auto gas in it . Have to get it started now as will be getting snow again soon here. Tried turning over for many times in my heated garage & engine would not fire at all as if not getting gas. Doesn't feel like the priming step with the black bulb is getting firm or giving gas 'squishing' sound as I am very familiar with over many decades of small engine usage & experience. Followed the prescribed 3 pumps & try to start & also many pumps also. Choke on properly & dont smell any gas as if flooded. Can't get fast enough service due to busyness this time of year at your dealers- ie ACE, Mac Power Equipment etc. Im at a loss & need to get this operating again fast. My Toro mower after 15 years faithful use still operated dependably! Please advise.
Bruce Penman- model# 38753. SN 411483287 Purchased last Dec. 2021 at Ace in Loveland, CO. 612.600.4700 cell

This past summer I purchased a Toro push mower from Lowe's in Canton, Georgia. I have a small yard.

Now in September, the bag will not stay on my mower.

Why and what can be done?

Hi, I just wanted you to know that overpriced 30 inch mower is a PIECE of Crap!!! The certified repair dealer see it more than me!! Biggest buyer remorse I've had since buying my Chevy trailblazer, are you guys the same company?! Funny..because you both use alot of plastic.

Toros Electric Ultra blower Vacuum is an excellent product, however the vacuum part of the blower is garbage. I returned the first Toro ultra because the vacuum bags stitching came apart after the third use. Returned the product to Home Depot who gave me my money back. Went to the section for leaf blowers and for $74.97, I stupid, me bought the same blower by Toro. Figured it was a defect and couldn't happen a second time. What a moron I am, the first time I used it the bag ripped again. Shocked at a great company like Toro would put such garbage in with a quality blower. Shame on you Toro and shame on me.

It is my understanding that Toro owns Lawn-Boy. I have been trying to input my Lawn-Boy Model and Serial number on the Lawn-Boy website to view the Owner's Manual and the result comes back with nothing. I don't think I have the incorrect letters/numbers. When I try to send an email to the Lawn-Boy Customer Service through email, it won't accept my request.

My Lawn-Boy Model Number is: PH-XT149-0225 and Serial Number is 4036119608.

If you can direct me to exactly where I can obtain the owners manual for this self-propelled 20" mower, please advise and than you in advance.

You can email me back at: [email protected]

In 2007 I bought a Toro z4200 it worked great untill this year. I started cutting grass this year and after an hour or so it quit pulling on the left side, so I park it then after it cools it cuts for another hour.

I called the dealer ( Ace Hardware) where I bought it and they told me it would cost about $1000.00 to repair or replace left hydro gear.

This is unacceptable to me because my wife and I are on a fixed income.

I know if I keep running this mower it will tear the pump all to pieces.

I will not buy another Toro product.

DO YOU HEAR ME TORO.

I spent about $ 3200.00 for this mower thinking it would be the last mower I would have to buy, BOY WAS I WRONG. NEVER AGAIN>

My phone in case anyone wants to talk to me.

I am very upset customer bought a toro 20370 at th home depot first time I used and the mower sat for two weeks then it would not start took it to home depot even with the MA that we purchased they charged us to fix it which I think two big corporate giants can absorb but they still want more from consumer.they said use stabil with fuel and you will be good.well guess what it won't start and I wish toro to stand up behind their product and make it good paying 300 dllrs is not cheap for a lawn mower and I see neighbor with a cheap green mower he had it in storage took it out and it worked now he has a nice cut yard and I don't so toro will you help us consumers.

Brand new Toro lawnmower (Model 20370) which would not start. Brought back to Home Depot and they spent 1 hour and could not start it either. Gave me an new mower. Store Sales Associates and the repair Associates at Home Depot tell me that they are selling a known defective product which fails to start OR stalls out and quits after a few minutes of use. Replacement mower I was given starts but sputters for the first 20 seconds and almost stops; then quits after a few minutes with white smoke coming from the carb. 3 e-Mails to Toro, all reviewed by different people who obviously had not reviewed the previous e-Mail. Their "common causes" answer is directly from the instruction manual (ie: gas may have water, etc), none of which apply to the problem. They tell me to bring the brand new mower, used twice, to a repair shop they suggest and PAY FOR ANY REPAIR. No Toro web site gives the name of any Toro Corporate individual you can contact. So do what I am going to do: take your Toro mower, motor running, if you can and walk thru your dealer's store. Get several people who have the same problem, if you can. You will probably be asked to leave and the police will be called. Remember, you have not committed any crime. While the cops are coming, call your local TV news Investigative Reporter and they will come if you create enough commotion. In this way you can get your story about Toro to the public. If your Dealer will not refund your money, you do have a lawsuit as it has been admissible that a known defective product is being sold on the open market.

Brand new toro push mower after two weeks now starts up great but dies in 30 secs. I was told I have to bring it back and it would be two to four weeks before I get it back. The last mower I bought was from walmart, it lasted 4 years and still run when I put it on the curb. the deck rusted out.......

Awful awful product support. The Toro hotline cant direct me to any toro repair shops. Only "Gardner" who offeres parts for sale.

Never again.

just bought a zero turn mower 1 month ago and needs some adjustments from day 1. Called store and they said it would cost $60 to get it picked up and dropped off. What kind of service is this, I will not buy a toro product in the future. This is the worst customer service I have seen in a long time.

I had a great experience, actually. I couldn't find an owner's manual for my '87 WheelHorse online, so the Customer Service rep mailed me a copy at no charge.

Unbelievable! The phone system is designed to get rid of you or to get you to buy a "new" product or to go to their service representatives. They do not want to be bothered with you. After 5 calls, I finally spoke to a person regarding a design flaw on their SuperVAc Blowers. No help whatsoever. After the Warranty period, forget it. And the parts don't exist anymore either. No surprise there. The Blower tube plastic wore thin and won't connect properly to start the impeller. I will use body putty to build it up, but come on...poor design.

We have a 51591 Toro vac which will not turn on. We had this issue a couple of years ago and I was able to actually get to a person at Toro and we were able to resolve my problem on the phone. My 51591 is 6-7 years old but has always worked very well. When it stopped working before it was just a connection issue and we were able to resolve over the phone. I have tried looking at the connections and all sames fine, however, I do not remember what we did. I am very disappointed I cannot get to a person to discuss this and resolve as we did before.

I have been using toro equipment for the last 12 years and the service for the most part was good until the last year or so.One of the units that i purchased has had a number of problems mainly with the deck and the local dealer can't seem to fix anything, it has becomed the money pit because even when they can't fix the unit they do charge for the services even if it is the same problem or parts that should have been replaced and or repaired under warranty.I am a small business owner and this is my main mower so when my equipment is in the shop as frequently as it has been for the last year it is difficult to deal with.the last problem i am having is a vibration on the deck this keeps braking the belts/springs and those belts cost $80.oo @ time they brake, the dealer told me that they could not fix the problem and then i called toro customer service and they told me to call the dealer because they soposed to have expert mechanics i personally have my doubts about that in my humble opinion anyone who sell their product automaticaly becomes qualiffy service dealer. So if anyone is looking to buy a toro mower please do some reseach about the dealer's reputation if you are going to spend $6000.00 or more make sure that you don't end up with a pile of metal and a DEALER and a TORO CUSTOMER SERVICE "OR LUCK OF" THAT JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING THE SALE...By the way this dealer is located in the Pensacola area.
