I have been using Stub Hub for years and this is by far the worst service I have ever got! I have called all day trying to get my tickets and they said they would have thier mangement team put it as a priority and as of 10 p.m. i do not have my tickets and now they are closed for thr holiday. What am I going to tell my kids!!!!

I got on your website to buy tickets to the Oklahoma City thunder game tonight and it did not allow me to save my tickets while it forced me to register my email for your website so instead of getting two $17 tickets to the game the only option I had by the time I finish registering was $95 tickets. now I don't get to go to the game because of your website I will never use stub hub again.

StubHub would not be able to issue out an email to everyone affected by this phishing email due to the fact people who do not even have an account, nor have even heard of stubhub received this email.

StubHub is not affiliated in any way with the individuals who sent out that email, therefore they don't have a list of the email address which this email was sent too.

Also, if you encounter this please be patient as the reason you cannot get through to customer service is that there is such a high volume of people calling in to say, "hey I got this email"

StubHub is not trying to Scam you, and keep you from getting through. The Customer Service department works hard to make sure you get any answers you need. But when there are suddenly thousands of people calling, where normally there would not be it causes higher wait times.

Again, since the email wasnt FROM stubhub themselves, there would be no way for them to proactively send out an email to everyone affected, since they'd have no way to view who received it and who didnt.

The scam just happened again today. Thanks to this site I was able to get the phone number and talk with a rep within 5 mins. They said if the card wasn't charged not to worry about it and that they have had other calls on it today.

I received this email as well this morning and have contacted StubHub.com, HendryCompany.com admin (the site being used for the phishing) and PayPal.com.

The email address [email protected] (you will see this as the "Reply To" address) was used in a PayPal.com scam not too long ago as well as the address listed on in the email for the shipping had already been flagged by the LA Police. When I was talking to the Detective and gave her the address her response was "Oh ya, we know that address already". So your guess is as good as mine what that actually meant.

Make sure this email address is marked in your spam list and blocked by further correspondence.

Excellent response from Jennifer in Customer Service regarding this world-wide email scam for the boxing tickets. She assured me No charges will be made to any of my accounts, No changes in our Long Distance Carries (will Not change to "Global Crossings"), and thanked me for my patience ! It may take a few tries to get to Customser Service 1-866-788-2482, but they will answer ! And say a prayer for these good folks that are working so hard to resolve this mess ! ~Betty

What is the correct customer service number for stubhub?

I received the same email as everyone else. What a scam that you can't even get through to their customer svc to report it. I am concerned as well as to how my email address was accessed.

I received the same email this morning. You will note that it doesn't name a credit card, just "your card" will be charged.

Also note the ridiculous email address for the link that is supposed to be StubHub customer service.

I forwarded mine to [email protected]. It's important to notify c.c. companies so they can watch for bogus charges and be aware of the current frauds that are making the rounds.

I received the same email regarding fradulent ticket order. I was able to get through to Customer Service. They assured me they are aware of email scam, that the order # does not exist and that credit cards will not be charged. Still, this is a HUGE concern. The company should issue an immediate email to those affected - why is that not happending? Most of us are sitting on pins and needles thinking our cc's have been compromised and a $2700 charge is going to hit us. It's one thing to get spam emails and quite another to think your bank accounts/cc are potentially affected at the same time.

Looks like I am going to the Pachiao fight in Vegas! I better book a plane ticket!

I received the same SCAM email. I actually got through to customer service relatively quickly. I was only on hold about 5-6 minutes. The customer service representative was very polite and helpful. She confirmed that StubHub is aware of this scam and that my credit card would not be charged. She said that I should check with my credit card companies and I would see that there are no pending charges.

I called StubHub customer service this morning, after going to their site to get their contact number, and found out that this email is a scam. StubHub is currently investigating the email scam and trying their best to cease the emails and prosecute. It's important that the email isn't opened and no links are clicked. According to StubHub customer service, as long as the email isn't opened you are safe from any harm these hackers are trying to impose. StubHub has always been a reputable way for me to buy tickets, with a money-back guarantee for fraudulent tickets. This is activity of hackers, not StubHub.

I got the same email this morning. I was wondering if this is a scam or has a charge really been made? I also have tried to contact thru customer service only to get busy signal. I have never used stub hub so they would not have access to my email. Account. I hope this is a hoax and no charges being made.

Help!!!!! I received an email to my work email stating that I ordered 2 tickets to a boxing match that I never ordered!!! It says my charge card or debit card will be charged within 48 hours $2766.95 and the tickets fed express to a LosAngeles address to A Smith. What do I do to make sure this doesn't happen and what can we do about the person running this scam? Thanks for your help.

I tried calling and did not get through either, and received the same email. I do not have a current credit card and my debit card does not have enough a balance to cover this charge. My concern is someone trying to steal all of our identities. I have asked my bank to watch for this but I have a feeling Stubhub is going to owe a lot of people an apology. I googled the address it said the tickets are shipping to and it looks like a sketchy neighborhood so no telling what is going on. I will not feel better until I get a call from StubHub telling me that this has been taken care of.

I received the same email saying $2700 would be charged for a boxing match. I can't get through with their phone number. I called my bank and credit card. What is this place?!!!

Posted by anonymous

How do you know who to call? I don't have an open credit card account so I don't know how to make sure that this is some sort of identity theft. Help please!

Posted by Anonymous

Having a phone number which is always busy provides not customer support whatsoever.

I got the same email and immediately called my credit card company. IT IS ALL A SCAM. Call your credit card company immediately and forward a copy of the email to their abuse hotline email to help them track it. The more reports they get will help find where it originated from. I tried calling Stub Hub but I believe their phone number has been hacked andcalling it authorizes a change to your long distance carrier. DO NOT OPEN the Stub Hub link in the email or log on to Stub Hub.
