I am so tired of these companies producing bad products and not wanting to replace for people that spend their hard earned money... NEVER again will I buy whirlpool or Maytag. Just had washing machine for 9 months. Hard to believe the whole tub of the front load washer is already having to be replaced. The tech person came out its been three weeks mow still no washer. Have to order more parts. Sad part is the tech guy called to whirlpool customer service to request a new washer for us as the whole inside have to be replaced. They refused.....these million and billion dollar companies continue to rob the consumer... I will be posting pictures of this on social media warning everyone just how you all get over on your consumer. Damn shame...

This refrigerator is approximately 3 years old and the Control Panel stopped working. Upon internet search, this appears to be a common occurance with some customers receiving free replacement part where others do not despite the age of the appliance. The purchase price of the aforementioned refrigerator at Lowes was nearly $2800.00. For that price, and your Brand name, we expected better service out of the appliance. Beginning to make repairs at only 3 years is unacceptable especially since our last Maytag refrigerator lasted 15 years. Rather thsn repair out older energy inefficient model we replaced it with a newer more energy efficient one. Sadly, the quality of your product has declined in those 15 years. With more than 800 complaints to Consumer Affairs related to this control panel it behooves Maytag to replace this defective part free of charge. We have an appointment tomorrow with the Maytag repairman and we hope he has the replacement control panel with him as I have 5 grandchildren staying with us this first week of their summer vacation. What a unnecessary nightmare having to toss spoiled food into the garbage.

I puchased a new Maytag 2000 series front loading washer and dryer set six years ago. This was an expensive set...close to $1400....and it breaks down about once every six months....we have spent over $3000 on repairs so far, and now, as usual, both our washer and dryer are broken. Unless Maytag makes it right, I will never ever buy Whirlpool or Maytag again! The machines had an "unlimited 10 year warranty" sticker on it when bought them....but no one will honor it...on fact, the place of purchase denies ever stocking the appliance. Maytag is terrible.

I just wanted to let you know that I bought a dryer 5/4/13 from Lowes and this dryer is not 3 years old yet and the motor is burnt up.Hear i thought Maytag was suppose the top of the line,and I also bought a Maytag washer hoping it last longer then my dryer,I'm very disappointed in the name Maytag and I know whirlpool makes them so I will not buy another Maytag or whirlpool product.it is a terrible shame that you can't make appliance that will not last any longer then that. I have a Maytag mod# MDB7749SBM2 it is less than Two years and and the control panel started to randomly not work. I read online very common right after the warrantee goes out. It's ridiculous a product that costs this much quits in less than two years. It is a problem with a defective part and Maytag knows this. The new part alone is 175.00 plus labor. The least they can do is replace the bad part. I see they have a new panel they have now put out to correct the issue, so they are all to aware of the issue. I feel cheated by Maytag as do all these others I see online with the same problems. This is not right and I won't buy Maytag again if they don't try to stand behind this product.

I purchased a maytag dishwasher about 3 years ago and sorry to report that it is no longer working. Very disappointing since I grew up watching the commercials maytag man with nothing to do since the products never break down. While I don't expect appliances to last. Forever like the old days, I feel 3 years is unacceptable and no I did not purchase a consumer ripoff warranty extender since I do need another dishwasher soon, I hope someone will contact me regarding a credit towards a new purchase. Thank you

I purchased a Maytag washer in May 2012 for $900.00 and paid for the extended warranty for two years. The washer has stopped working and to repair it would cost $600.00. I called Maytag and spoke with Mary, she told me there was nothing they could do. Like one of the other customer reviews I read I to thought Maytag stood behind their products. I would not recommend their products to anyone. Because of what I now know if they gave me one free I would decline it because when something happened to it I would be stuck paying for the repair. I'm now going to find any and all websites that I can post this review on.

I am so sorry I did not read the reviews for Maytag products. The customer service is horrible. They offered a rebate for a product that was priced before the rebate. This meant that you paid a higher price, then when you receive your rebate it balanced out to the advertised price!!! The rebate was never honored. They insisted we provide the info on the internet. Then claimed we did not give sufficient info. After faxing, writing, calling etc. they said they could not honor the rebate.The time had expired. It will be the last time the name Maytag will be mentioned in our household. There are so many other products that are honest with their customers. A lesson learned. Sincerely a Florida and Ohio resident.P.S I doubt anyone at Maytag bothers to read these complaints. Seems they are not interested.

The worst purchase I ever made! Bought Maytag bravo dryer in October 2011, have had to replace the senior themore 4 times. It only last for 1 year then it goes out again at a cost of $170.00 each repair! I am a senior citizen living on a very tight income & can not afford to keep repairing this dryer! I brought it at Home Depot who do not want to know anything about the subject. Will be trying to find someone to help me get this resolved. No one at the Maytag Corp want to know either.

When it was too expensive to repair my old washing machine, I decided to invest half of my monthly Social Security check in a new washing machine.{ a painful decision!] I picked from a large selection at Loewe's, a Maytag since the name stood for quality. I purchased it 11/24/15, delivered and installed on 11/27/15. The Model
I started the machine with a normal cycle since I live alone and have only small amounts of laundry. The machine made this god-awful grinding sound just like my old machine that I had to replace. I called the Loewe's tech, who came the following day. He said that there is nothing wrong, that all the Maytag machines make this noise. Even my neighbors complained about the noise. Do I have to leave the house every time I do laundry, so that I am not reminded that I purchased the wrong name brand "MAYTAG"? My friends do not have problems with their top loaders. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I am at my wits end. Sincerely,

We bought a Maytag Stainless Steel Fridge (side by side door) last year 2014.
It's a brand new fridge and we bought this from Maytag itself.
I started noticing that the Food are getting spoilt very quickly.
Nothing could be stored for even 5 days now. It is only on the Refrigerator side . the Freezer section is absolutely fine and perfect. But this Refrigerator section somehow not working right as expected.

Bought a Maytag stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator on 08/21/2014. A year later the front door shows rust in an area of 12 x 12 inches. Called Maytag and warranty does not cover rust, it is considered a cosmetic issue. Avoid buying Maytag/Whirlpool stainless steel products, they are no good and warranty does not help.

Purchased a Maytag dishwasher approximately 17 years when we bought our condo. Since then most of our spikes on the racks have burned up. Except for that our dishwasher works fine. When inquiring about buying new racks was told the top rack was approx $150 and the bottom rack is no longer available. Inquired about this to neighbors who move in the same time and was told they had no problem with there original dishwashers. Is there any compensation for this defect?

I called number and the lady was very helpful HOWEVER she said a service call would be made on 9-9-15 between 8-5 and I would receive a call before they came. At 2:30 that day I had not heard from anyone, I call the same number and was told to call , the lady who answered advised no service date had been scheduled. She scheduled a service call by Ken Appliance 615-834-0740 on 9-14-2015. They called the day before and said they would be there between 10-12 on 9-14. came on time, fixed the problem and the young man was courteous and very knowledgeable. I feel that since your company dropped the ball on the service date that I should have been placed at the head of service instead of having to wait that many days without a working refrigerator.
