Store 4001 in Riverside California is awesome trish and Angel you are examples of customer service I am disable for about eight months and every time I come they are always helping me and that's awesome for me I tried and tell everybody about that big Lots kudos to the district manager hope you let your people know how important they are with a visit and let them know in person God bless you

I have never encountered such bad service and rudeness as I have at the Big Lots in Murphy NC I went there with an elderly neighbor that walks with a walker. We were slowly shopping around and she went up to a worker to ask where a specific items was. The worker acted irritated that she has bothered her. And rudely pointed in the general direction. As my neighbor was walking away I heard the worker say to the man she was talking to that old people like that should not be allowed out. I stood the in disbelief of the rudeness. My neighbor heard her and teared up. Later in the visit I learned this worker was actually the store manager. I will not support this type of business that hires people like this much less managers. What a role model for other employees. How & why would a company allow this type of behavior? I guess she was irritated because my sweet neighbor interrupted her flirting with the man she was with. Awful place with awful management.

Went to the Big Lots in West Sacramento, Ca. in January 2016. I have injuries to my face from a car accident that broke out some front teeth and I tend to encounter discrimination from the less intelligent people due to the scars, etc.. While in the store one of the male employees starts to follow me up and down the aisles, glaring at me as if I was going to take something. This treatment continued until I asked to speak with a supervisor to file a complaint against the misogynistic male employee. Long story short, I came back to the store February 02nd 2016, and the supervisor that I filed the complaint with walked up to me and said," You're not allowed in the store anymore." I asked why and she didn't give an answer. I said "It's because I objected to the discrimination I encountered last time." Based on the pther comments here, I can see this rude treatment is widespread at all Big Lots. I'll be talking to an Attorney about this and I strongly recommend that others do the same. This discrimination against others will continue unless you take action!

I have been a big lots rewards member since you began the program. I never get the ad in email or facebook. I never get alerts about sales, special events etc. I go to the battlefield st location, Springfield, mo. every week sometimes 2-3 times in a week. My email Adress is . I would appreciate every benefit your rewards programs promises.

I just came from the Big Lots in Bartlesville, OK 74006 on Frank Phillips Blvd. I was shocked at the incredibly rudeness of some of the employees there including management. When I got in line to check out was only myself and one other customer. But in less than 10 minutes there were 18th people waiting to check out. The employee at the register I was at paged 4 times before anyone came to help her. The rest of us could see the other employees in the back area just standing around talking. Usually when I go in this store I don't see this kind of behavior.

Yesterday I called Big Lots is Sonora, California to ask if they had 3inch foam mattress in a full/double size. They were nice and took some time to see if they had one. The gentleman came back and told me that they did. I told him that I would be in shortly to buy it. That was sometime after 10 a.m. I was there, at your Sonora store, before 1 p.m. I asked for the furniture manager and got Wyatt. He did go and look somewhere and came back and told me that they did not have any in the store. I told him that I made this special trip because HIS store said that they DID have it. I then asked him if he could just check on the inventory to see if maybe "MINE" could be found. Ther was some employee on the phone and that was why he could not check on the inventory.I have not ever been treated like that. One lady suggested a rain check. Wyatt said they did not do that. Wyatt was busy pretty much standing still. Is this your proceedure/policy.

I was shopping in the big lots store of Santa Maria ca and they manager is rude and mean he treat the customer and employees bad. I asked the cashier lama for help and she refused to help me. I asked the manager why he hired someone that doesn't help out the customer and he said it wasn't my business. He treat really bad customer and she is doing a bad job she doesn't even knows how to do register. I need to talk to there district manager can I please get the number.

Came on 12.26.15 to store 4195 in Humble opinion d for after Christmas. The sign read 59% off and Stephanie manager says it was 30% . I have over 8 Items in basket and she moved the sign and said it was 40. It was n the Christmas markdown section

On December 21 2015 I was shopping at the big lots store in Burien, Washington. I had lined up behind three other customers to pay for my purchases. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, when a Big Lots employee start yelling at us about how we should all be standing behind a pink line on the floor. Calling us stupid. First of all there was no signs indicating a line should be formed behind the pink duct tape line. Secondly, the line was not visible because it was blocked by a display. Even if you could see the line , how are customers suppose to know what the line means. When I lined up there were no customers behind the line. The employee was way out of line to yell at all the customers in line. If Big Lots wants to control how customers line up, they should do it signs and barriers. I talked to the supervisor and to the Big Lots customer service but neither called me back within the promise time frame.

I think it is very wrong that I bought a chair from here and just bEcause I missed placed my receipt and paid cash I can't even get a even exchange on a broken chair

Im a fan of Big Lots and i was wondering is there any way that i could buy the 62inch white heater fire place that i very very much love, it cost $549 rite now..at this time im on disability , and i was just wondering if it was posible to get it for $460 this is the amount of my disability check and last before Christmas .Greatly appreciated if possible..thank u much and Merry Christmas

Honestly I feel sorry for the employees in your Prestonsburg Ky location, your GM or whatever she is, is absolutely horrible. I've tried to ignore her rudeness for months now, which isn't that hard considering she is never really around, but when she is its disgusting. Shes mean and rude and down right lazy, I honestly didn't know shes was your GM until I recently asked a young lady about her that was working the register. I've witnessed her be completely ill mannered to customers and employees alike. Today was the worst I believe though I over heard her talking to customer who had some questions about the store and some products she was sarcastic and rude during the whole thing insisting it didn't matter what other stores did because this location was almost completely hers that she was buying it. I hope you change your mind about selling because she'll run you whole name into the ground!

Yesterday, I received a $5 off $15 at Big Lots coupon in my email, and printed it out The store is a bit of a trip, but I went there to use the coupon. At the checkout, the cashier discovered that it would not work because the coupon had a reward card number on it that does not match mine. Can you tell me how you sent me an email with a coupon, and not have it be the correct number? The girl checked my reward card number, and it is correctly associated with my address and email. She apologized, but gave me no directions to resolve how you have a different number associated with me email. Please tell me what to do to correct this. Thank you.

Your information ability ""sucks""... I have spent over an hour just trying to find where to change my address, phone number and name sense I married.. There is nothing that makes this easy to do on your pages.. I called your customer service only to be connected to your employees and vender lines.. It is just way to frustrating dealing with this so I guess I'll take my money and shopping elsewhere..

I have been a long time shopper at Big Lots. The prices now at the store are much HIGHER than the other stores like Giant,Walmart,Target, etc. Even the employees at BIG LOTS have said the same. Can you explain the reason why this has happened at Big Lots ? PLEASE......LOWER YOUR PRICES compared to others if you want my business at big lots. THANK YOU !

On a Sunday out with my family i went to your store in gastonia North Carolina on Franklin Blvd to look for item at a good price to furnish my new home was singled out by your front cashier manager she over called out for a security scan then she went around to other employees and was heard giving our description and telling them to follow us around now I work retail to and if I had bad feelings about a customer I would to but I was taught to ask them for help but I'm sure all employees are trained to watch and ask can I help I got none of that just made very uncomfortable and as I still tried it was just to much to be I was going to check out and then the front manager walks up behind me get on the phone and over the hole store while giving me a shity look says security scan done turns her face up at me and walked off form me I right then called for her to tell me why she felt she was in the right for treating my family in this was and like a coward she keep walking off like I didn't matter and so my money doesn't either but I will tell everyone that your store is racist I guess since I'm black and not wanted in your store my money is too.

I was in one of the MA stores and the person that was the cashier was very rude to the customer in front of me, and was refusing to wait on them. She kept telling another girl to come ring him up, but she was busy cleaning up a mess that the cashier made by spilling her drink all over the register counter. She kept several people waiting in line, and adamantly refused to wait on this customer. I have never seen such horrible customer service skills as this girl. it was not the first or last time I have had to deal with her poor skills, as one time she was swearing at a customer. I will now only go to that store if I absolutely have to. I am willing to pay more and drive further just so that I don't have to be subjected to their behavior.

Very rude furniture manager. Asked for help putting bed frame in car and i advised him that i could not put it in the truck nor put the seat down. He was Rude and said you cant or don't want to! Really, is that how you treat a customer? I have a daughter that is in a wheel chair. This is how they treat people!

Went to a location Florence Ky. that I called 30 mins earlier to pick up Dyson vacuum cleaners. Had them check to make sure that they had them in stock they did and said we have plenty of both models. When I arrived was told by the same girl that she was wrong. I then spoke to the manager who I asked if she was the manager and she said she was one of the managers...Her name was Jen she said the girl was incorrect about the vacuums.. I told her the whole story and asked if I could get a raincheck or something since it was a sale today and I was told that they did have the vacuums she said No because they were a closeout store. She could had at least say that she was sorry for my inconvenience of driving all the way to the store etc. I own a cleaning service and buy a lot vacuums and products from Biglots. I am very disappointed in the management of this store.

Yes I was up yesterday 10/3/15 to purchase a king size mattress and box spring.The young man that was there was very busy but took time to help my husband aND I. He said there were no box springs but was willing to sell us one off the floor desplay. We agreed to the one we wanted paid the big and told the guy we would pick it up today 10/4/15. We were there at 11is and meet with the rudest man in the store! First I told him why I was there and asked if he needed my reciept? He said no what's your name? I told him then proceeded to tell him about the deal we made with the gentleman yesterday and he was like well you will get the other set of box springs bc he had to switch something out..and I said well that's not what the guy said yesterday. And he said very rudely...well he isn't the boss I am!! We don't have a big lots in our area anymore, so I have to come up there when I want something. And this summer we just bought a new sofa and love seat. But I must admit I don't think I will be buying any more furniture from your store. I will drive to Bradford if I need to!

I went to big lot store in Riverside CA there was a fire pit for 89.99 but there was a Sign Sign say $ 5.00 do they have to honor that price.

This complaint us for the Big lots on Craig Rd in Las vegas. The cashier on register 3, was very deliberate in not giving me my discount. I asked her before she rang up my items and she said it was automatic which it was not. When the manager corrected her, her response was that she didn't know it was for everyone. The entire store was on sale, so there is no way she didn't know. Plus she had a nasty attitude.
