Hi, THIS IS A COMPLAINT,
You have an advertisement on television on,"CAR THEFT". IT IS POOR TO SAY THE LEAST.
It shows a man looking at the camera in front of house. Video goes on to say stealing your car, then smashes the side window to enter the car laughing, finally proceeds to drive the car crashing into the mail post and motorcycle. Then the thief drives away laughing, thanking the owner for the car!,, Carole S

Our home was hit by an Allstate insured drunk driver. It has been 12 days, and I am still dealing with getting switched from department to department. My house is not secured and not safe. I have spent the last two hours trying to talk with a supervisor, and getting nowhere. Allstate is certainly not the "Good Hands Company" they advertise.

Most unhelpful customer service I have ever experienced. Switched from one person to another and not a one seemed to know what they were doing. The one that did knowingly gave out false information

I had an accident on December 11, 2014 using Allstate as the insurance due to being hit by their customer. My claim number is 0351119219CKM. This was the worst experience I ever had. At first, I was told that it was a courtesy to get me a rental car. The adjuster was never assigned and no one ever called me to let me know when they were coming out. As it was around Christmas time, it took longer and the rental was not communicated and I was told by Kellon Meyers that I chose the body shop. I will never use AllState. It is no wonder Consumer Report puts you on the bottom for customer service. There is no customer service with your company. I therefore am letting you know and will call to complain as well. I was treated poorly, and not being at fault, I should have been treated like it was important. I do feel they owe me an apology and knowing Allstate, I probably will not get one. Again, no customer service whatsoever.

Received an Allstate letter on 8/4/14 regarding Abandoned Property COE for unclaimed funds dated 5/12/2011; it is now 10/20/2014 and I still have not received anything. I remember receiving a check from Allstate, but misplacing it. The time delay regarding these unclaimed funds is ridiculous! Allstate knows that at one time they submitted you (someone) a check, so simply re-submit the check again; what is the problem for this delay and why does have to take so long .........!?

Several years ago we chose not to renew Allstate Insurance with our cars because your office provided inconsistent service and lacked response after Saleta Matthews retired. This, after 20 years of uninterrupted Allstate patronage. At that time, I personally had a great deal of difficulty separating the home insurance from my ex-husband's name and your office billed him several times. I called your office repeatedly to correct the situation, but he continued to receive my personal bills and inquiries.

Despite that, we retained our house insurance with Allstate at 11 Romney Lane in Bella Vista because it was easier than changing- with the insurance being involved with the mortgage. However, last month we chose to discontinue Allstate insurance due to rate increases. I spoke on the phone with Esmerelda--gave her our new address at 2885 Brookbury in Fayetteville and told her directly that our refund check should be sent to that address. I made note of the conversation in my Outlook planner. Despite that conversation - our refund check after shifting to Nationwide was mailed to 11 Romney Lane. This lack of attention to detail has cost my husband and I time and money. Our refund check will not be re-issued to the correct address until May 3 IF we follow up. If I had not followed up with Esmerelda today, we would not have discovered this problem and do not know when our pre-paid insurance would have been refunded.
Until this time, I have ignored Allstate's repeated surveys regarding our Agency's service because of a personal belief that saying nothing is preferable to saying negative things. I don't wish anyone to receive poor ratings because of a couple of mistakes.

However, at this point, I am contacting Allstate Quality Assurance as actively as possible to inform them of our dissatisfaction. Lack of response is one thing, but costing our family money - is something else entirely. I am informing you of this so that I can honestly say to myself that I gave you the information I am giving the home office.

This is the worst company of any kind I have ever tried to deal with. The agent handling my claim is Paul Phillips. He is rude & uncaring. I was involved in an accident with one of Allstate's policy holders and they were totally at fault. I have been lied to and ignored for 10 months. Allstate refuses to pay my medical bills, and I have to deal with an arrogant disrespectful agent to add insult to injury.

dear all state :

my experience to all state is really bad.

I paid all for my auto insurance and still get bill come to my home.

I did fax all my bank statement as a proof of payment. they say OK and few month later they bill me again

one more time they ask me for the bank statement as a proof of payment.

I start to have insurance by feb 2013 and almost every 2 months i have to call them again with the same problem

Please give me a person who can work efficiency. Stop taking my time no more

My mother took out a policy from Allstate and they got the address wrong and cancel the policy. We tried numerous times to tell them that we did not live in a mobile home. But they did not believe us. they cancel the policy and send back some of the money. i totally agree with these comments Allstate policy (homeowners policy is for the birds. That motto You are in good hands need to say you are in no hands!

Allstate sucks..i had someone hit me and take off over a year ago, called in and was told not to worry about a thing..theyd take care of me.I had all required insurance.Over a year later, since ive hired an attorney, it looks like I might finally get some money from them.LOL they actually just now asked to see the vehicle ( like I said, been a year) and i had to inform them that it had been taken to the junk yard long ago.Now their trying to refuse to pay off the car cause they didnt see it, even tho i sent them pics and an estimate well over a year ago, and they coulda seen it at any time back then.Why would i keep a wrecked, totaled vehicle in my driveway for over a year? LOL
Heed my warning people..drop allstate while you still can!!

To Whom it may concern.

I have been trying to get in contact with your adjusters (Laquinta and Kentrell) for several weeks, I sent SEVERAL emails, left SEVERAL messages, ( all documented) however no body replied to me. Now I received a letter for a mediation request, how I am suppose to do any mediation with anyone from your company, if NOBODY call back nor reply emails?
Do we really need to involve our lawyers in this claim? I have pictures AND paper work signed by your insured to support our bill.
This is the way Allstate works? I am not sure about that. Around The Clock was willing to negotiate the bill, however No interest was shown from AllState. Are you in good hands?????????? Gotta be kidding!!!!

All State live talk answers quickly but needs people who actually understand American Idioms and language. Their understanding of the language is limited as best. If you want to be annoyed and frustrated by a language barrier....call daily.
Nothing is more annoying than paying your bills in Dollars but paying your help folks in rupees and expecting them to understand the American version of English.

Allstate has the worst customer service. I have had a boat policy with them for 5 years and now have canceled the policy after I paid in full. They tell me I cant get a refund because I paid in full and the policy is 6 months old. All other repeatable company would give a prorated refund. I now have cancelled all my policies and am now with a much better company. And I asked my new company and they do give refunds.

u need to have an agent and call them. the people on the help lines can be useless. i just call my agent any time i need anything and im taken care of IMMEDIANTLY!!!! NEVER HAD A PROBLEM THAT WAY!! work smarter not harder.......

allstate, without any doubt this is the WORST company I have ever talked to, or attempt to talk to, I was given at least 7 different toll free # to call, and still did not get anywhere, very frustating.
Schyrena, an agent, put me on hold for 27 minutes, then I heard "byeee" and a busy signal, called again, put on hold again for almost another half hour, such Sara answers the call and all they want is personal info without letting you know if they can help a provider or not. I still don't know what to do.....Told them "I am not a patient, only a provider to give you my new info" they could not understand.

5/12/12 I call in to customer service ,asking to file a calim under my renter's insurance . While trying to check for amt. /kind of attic insulation/ 2 winters of animal invasion-checking for damages / ceiling gave way and I fell through ; badly busing my R arm. It was very cheap -blown-in insulation, and had evidence of a few nesting sites. My bedroom/walkinin closet and BA were induated with / ?asbestos/fiberglass insulation, irrataing skin, & respiratoy tract/my asthma. Was told by rep. to seek medical attn. if needed /get hotel room ,if necessary and claims adjuster would be in conatact Mon.am 5/14 . adjuster Rggie called & would have outside adjustor conatct me for assesment.
Followup was not done until late thurs, 5/17 ,phone call after much verbal runaround, my ? yes or no coverage , answ. NO . Have had renters ins. oevr the yrs. and car ins, my son & I for at least 11 yrs. Now when coverage nneded ,esp. for living & health reasons AllSATE'S anser --- No. So I will not renew policy in 7/12 or car .ins. 8/12 . Your loss, .REMBER DISATISFIED CUSTOMERS WILL TELL 9 OTHERS OF BAD SERVICE/VS 1 FOR GOOD . yOU LOSE $ .

Being a customer with Allstate for over 30 years it is disappointing with the current estimate I received for wind and hail damage. Instead of doing my entire roof Allstate wants to patch it. My other neighbors which suffered the same damage entire roofs were replaced. The must be in better hands than I am currently in. I have had no more than two claims on two homes I have under the Allstate umbrella. This is very hurtful to me after all these year. Claim number 0241627371

This situation has created unnessesary disruption as it relates to our insurance requirements as you know.
The issue with the postal code is completely the fault of you and your staffs incompetence.
One in which Allstate has turned a clerical error created by Allstate into a much larger issue resulting in a canceled policy and a forever disgruntled customer.
This customer owns a home,cars,toys,business,business vehicles and requirements for liability insurance related to these.
None of which will be offered to Allstate or any affiliates of same.
I have contacted a number of family and friends of this situation and they have agreed to scout for comparable rates and once found will also cancel their policies with Allstate.
I have also raised this issue with a independent broker(and deals with Allstate imagine that) in which they agreed it is likely that Allstate has used an incorrect postal code your mistake to attempt to increase rates unfairly even though the physical location of the home is unchanged,The distance to a certified firehall has not changed and so nor has the risk.
Fact is that Allstate would have used this issue with the postal code as an excuse that had a fire or serious loss occured it is very unlikely that Allstate would have covered that loss. Why not?
Well they would have said they were given the wrong address and so the rates did not apply and so nor did the insurance.
Should we argue that the premiums paid over the last 3 years were wasted?should Allstate be allowed to take premiums on a policy they would have to admit if asked would not be paid out in event of a loss?
Any way this does not mean a pinch of coon s@#$ does it? Allstate could care less. That is very clear but it is very likely i have convinced a few to forego Allstate and thanks to my large list of friends and business contacts as well as this wonderful technology called social media I will convince a few more.
I will send this to Allstate head office as well maybe someone there cares! You think? That is unlikely don't you agree!

I would like to thank Allstate for finally getting a check to us. HOWEVER, it took two and a half months to resolve this issue. Their client rear ended me and he had a brand new car within three days. I ended up losing my business over this. Allstate, you are the worst company that I have ever dealt with. IN GOOD HANDS MY ASS. You don't have enough brains to pour piss out of a boot before you even put it on. I was going to switch over, but after this, NO WAY IN HELL!!! Have a great day.

We have received the absolute poor service from Allstate. After paying premiums for 21 years we needed help, Good Hands BS, we are done with Allstate. Too much to say here other than buyer beware......! Mayhem.....! Good hands.....BS

Allstate is becoming like the rest of corporate America....GREEDY as hell! I've been with them for over 30 years, never had a claim. In Spring of 2011, I backed into a cement post in a parking lot and caused $3600 damage of which I had a $1000 deductible....I sent in a claim and it was settled. My bill came in July, no increase. My bill came for January 2012 and they had RAISED it by $500 per/six month period...it went from $740 to $1040?! That's $1000 a year increase. When I asked my agency about it, they said it was due to the claim that I turned in. I thought that ALLSTATE had "accident forgiveness"...what a crock!! Why in the hell do we have insurance for? Because its the law, and the LAW does nothing to keep these companies from robbing the public. In good hands??....in good hands, my arse!! I'm looking elsewhere....Allstate sucks!
