I just got this checking account with this bank and i already hate it. I called weeks ago to get a new debit card. I still dont have it so now i have to sit a whole weekend with out touching my money and lets dont forget Monday is a holiday day. I cant get in contact with customer service because they not open. This bank suck and im taking my money out and getting another bank. I have to sit all the way till Tuesday to go some where because now ion have money for gas or food. Yall need to have a 24hr customer service for things like this. Im just going to close this bank

Regions has robbed me yet again! In the past 5 days I have deposited over $2,173 in my account! I had a little over $1,100 in my account and I went online paid my cell phone bill which was $256. So we are on our way heading out of town for Easter weekend stop by the ATM and we are negative $267! There is NO WAY IN HELL we should be negative! Of course Regions doesn't have any customer service after hours! So here we are back at home sitting cause we have no money to go out of town and there isn't anything I can do til Monday Morning! I filed a complaint with BBB hopefully that will help. So I get onto Regions online bank 3 different times last night and got 3 different balances which was 197.63 to the good,back negative 267,and negative 112!! The great thing is i took pitures of all of this so they couldnt tell me anything different or say that didnt happen! So bottom line people you need to find a different bank if you bank with Regions and if your thinking about opening up a Regions account PLEASE DON'T!! I've got so much more to add about what they have done in the past 2-3weeks so if you would like any more info just let me know :) hopefully we can put a stop to them robbing us! Please watch your pending transactions and the dates because they will take out 2-3 times on pending stuff and they like to move dates around on you so it looks like its your fault you went negative! I didn't believe it when someone told me it has happened to them but now I know first hand!

This place commits fraud. we were told one rate for a home refiniance. after the apprasial that we paid $400 for they changed the rate by a whole percent and said that the apprasial belonged to them. Thanks Jayda of gulfport. never again.

This is stupid I'm changing banks... You guys cancel my debit card for no reason then don't even have a 24-hour customer service line to get it turned back on and now I have to sleep in my car tonight because I don't have the gas to get back home and no one takes checks anymore. I'm fed up with the customer service of this place!

Ive Been A Long Time Customer Of Regions But I Hate to Have To Let Them Go Due To My Checking Account Being Overdrafted By 97.00 and They Closed It Without My Knowing, I Tried To Deposit Two Hundred Into The Account And Was Told That It Was Closed, I Then Had To Set 20 Minutes To Reopen An Account, But Before I Could Due To Me Having A Check, I Had To Stand In Line Pay The 200.00 Then Re-Open A Checking Account, After Paying The 200, To Re-Open The Account At The Window, I Was Told That The 97.00 would come from the 200 that I Gave Then To Re-Open My Checking, I Was Told That Some Issued Had Arrived And That I Could Not Get A Reciet, After Checking My Account I Found That 97.00 was taken From My Saving Account And Only 1 Hundred Was Put Into My New Checking, I Want My 97.00 Dollors Put Back into My Saving Account, And My 103 Back into My Checking, Fix This, Due To It Being The Weeekend, I Will Be At That Bank Early Monday Morning, They Will Be Fixing This, Im Short 97.00 From My Savings and 3.00 From My Checking.

Most messed Up Customer Service. There Is No 24 Hr Customer Service. If An Emergency Like Reporting A Stolen Card Or Problem Using An Existing Card, You Have To Wait Till Their Office Opens. If It's A Saturday Afternoon, Then You've Got To Wait Till Monday. Meanwhile, The Thief Empties Your Savings And You Just Wait And Twiddle Your Fingers Helplessly.

0I called to check my balance yesterday and was told it was at zero to make a deposit so that my direct deposit would process and be accessible to me the next day. I drove to branch in Fort Worth on Main St tried to deposit and was told my acct was closed???? I asked teller when did my balance go to zero she said two days ago. An acct has to be a zero balance 30 days before a hard close i was told my direct deposit which is from the State i get paid once a month would be rejected!! It was i checked today after speaking with customer service yesterday and they assured me it was a soft close not a hard i am now waiting on personal banker to call me and if he does not i will call the branch manager i want to know how they did this? I will not get a check from my employer for 10-14 days now which means late fees for rent and possible loss of phone etc... How do these people call themselves professionals its crazy awful and so un professional what they have done to me. I was told it was someone at the Fort Worth Branch i do not even know anyone there and had only been thru there maybe 2 other times!

Has the most screwed up customer service and accessability I've ever experienced. There is no contact number for the individual branchs, and the 800 number given does not get you to a person.

If you don't already have and account, and have any questions - forget it!

One of the worst banks I have ever dealt with!!! Their phone system is designed to delay, piss you off to the point where you just hang up. It takes 30 minutes to get to talk to a live person, and then they switch you to someone else in a wrong department. They continually give out FALSE information regarding credit card fruad and try to make you believe you have to pay them for their lousy computer security system. Feds should shut this scam operation down!!!

Regions is not a good bank . I deposited a 200 dollar check yesterday and i called today too see if it was in and 31 dollars is missing from it!!!!!!! I want my money back, noe!!! Cause i havent used my account since october! And i never went over . I still had money in my account! I cant get ahold of a live person either! I would like to.speak to one now

This morning I stopped by one of your branch offices to cash a check I recieved from a friend that has an account with you. I was told that there would be a $2.00 fee since I do not have an account there. I feel that your bank is stealing, robbing,and extorting money from those whom wish to cash one of your own customers checks. This is supposed to represent legal tender for the amount it is written for. I feel you do not have the legal or ethical right to do this. I was then told by the teller that " there are other banks that do this too" which I guess that makes it OK. As one that is looking for a new bank to do business with, due to the lack of customer service I receive from them, guess where you are on the list? Please, the next time you need bailing out again, don't come to the tax payers, go to your customers.

Judy at Eldon, Mo. misled me, an elderly customer for 16 years twice: once when she said her bank would contact me about refinancing my $191,000 home with $90,000 owed, income, and 750 credit with no answer (I bought and paid for home and apartment complex with you in Texas), and lately signed me up to program that forced me to get $180 in insufficient funds. James, her boss, is covering for her. What is Regions going to do about this $180, or does my family in 3 states go to Bank of America?

Its true! You can't track down a working number for any local branches,and regions loves to charge overdraft fees. Online they make my debits go through in the wrong order so that I get charged insufficient fees! Its rediculous. We all must go to a new bank and show them that something MUST change to earn back business!!

Since their change over from FIA I have received only one statement in three months. I've never been able to register my account online because the credit line keeps changing. I will only be able to view the account but not pay online since I don't have a Regions bank account. I've also gotten the phone calls because I had a late payment (because of no online payment and no statement). I've just received a collection notice today that was dated 11 days ago. I closed my checking account a decade ago for problems such as Sunday due dates, NSF's because of unique accounting in their favor, and ZERO customer service. I'm disappointed that I have been sent back to these fools from FIA..I've had online payments on time-every time for over five years...now I can't find a way to pay them at all. Nothing like Regions to make it as difficult as possible for the customer so they can rape you with charges.

I have been shocked and appalled by the customer service of Regions bank credit card division. Recently, I gather you took over the handling of your cards. It was not a matter I took much notice other than the inconvenience of changing card number information.(Very). It was still the same bank.

Apparently, no, because my automatic payment did not go through. Regions answer, to send me endless phone calls and when I pick up, say please hold. Eventually, after what twenty of these, a person answered. She then proceded to ask me any number of personal identifying info before she would tell me about the problem with an automatic payment. I gave in even as I knew I was being foolish, who was this person after all.

Then of all things she said she could fix my automatic payment right now, over the phone—in a situation in which she called me. When I refused, that is how people get their identity stolen, it got difficult. They kept talking as if I hadn't said what I had said, which made me increasingly unhappy. So they put the manager on the line who just kept spouting we sent you information and refused to stop talking and telling me she was listening. No. Listening requires you to stop talking. I became irate but she never stopped talking or listened to my statement that I am not providing private bank information to a stranger who calls me.

I have had this card since 89 and kept it for the nice credit such along association causes. But if it is different card, I see no reason to continue, your rates are non-competitive, no miles or kickbacks accrue and your manner rude and as if you are doing me a favor. And encouraging a client to unsafe practices because you are so hungry for your money. For shame.

I have been with Regions for years and have been very satisfied overall. People like Valia Rich, Toni Potenza and Sue Finsterer represent your bank well and go out of their way in the name of customer satisfaction. There are 2 recent developments that are troubling:

1. Doing away with deposit slips. I have had several deposits that I have brought to branches get cashed instead of depositted.

2. Regions recently took over their credit cards. We have had issues with going over our limit. In the past we have been able to make a payment mid-billing cycle to prevent this occurrance. The payment would post within 48 hours. This option was discontinued without any word being given to us. This posed several inconveniences to us as a company. We are now raising our credit limit. While this may help, it will not clear up the issue if we experience high Credit Card volume, which in my line of work is a constant issue. I would like this issue addressed.

I have had Regions for years and it's so hard to talk to a real person! Now my account has been hacked and they seem to care less about my missing money. I'm switching as soon as I get my refund...IF I EVER GET IT

i have been with Regions Bank for 10 years or more. They have hit me with over a $1,000 of NSF fees in the last 4-5 months, where as i should have had 2 NSF fees i ended up with 10 X $36.00, and this has been done to me so many times all because they decided to pay 1 or 2 bills instead of paying the ten transactions that were already pending. someone stated earlier that regions had been good to them well i hope they continue to be good to you. you cannot speak with a manager they pretend that there is nothing they can do to help you. so if you need a bank that has good customer service and will not literally take your money you should try another bank other than regions. i closed my account after 10 years or more.

We are in London, and our credit card experience is awful. Card does not work, and an ATM over here "ate" the card. Five expensive phone calls to Regions. They say everything is OK on their end----NOT! Gonna change when we get back home.

I was charged 6 NSF fees even though I had plenty of available balance! They claim it has to do with their system and how it posts at the end of the day! Bullsh*t! Regions can take the $216 in NSF fees and consider my business GONE! I'm getting a different bank today! I urge you NEVER to do business with Regions, unless you are have no problem with them stealing money from your account whenever they see fit!

This bank is the worst just opened an account I can't talk to anyone everytime I call they are having long hold times. I cant deal with a bank that I can never speak with a live person. I'm glad I didn't close my suntrust account worst experience I have ever had. Region's get it together I was just trying to active my new card. I am truly blown away DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Closing my account ASAP.

This bank is truly the worst. I have spent 51 minutes on hold tonight just trying to get information on how to pay my bill. They want me to open an account to pay my credit card with them. I would rather jam nails into my eyeballs than ever do business with such an inept institution. They are trying to MAKE us open accounts in order to pay our bills. Nice try.

Now that Regions has taken back credit card processing from FIA there are at least two major deficiencies that need their attention:

1) They need to register their payment center with CheckFree, so that those of us who pay our bills electronically via another financial institution don't have to have our institution MAIL checks to Birmingham. Virtually every bank in the U.S. accepts electronic payments for Visa cards, but apparently Regions feels it isn't necessary!

2) I need Shopsafe (1 time, merchant-restricted credit card numbers) back.

Also, they need to speed up their response to their 'secure bank mail', which takes two or three days to get a response.

I've moved all my credit card usage to my Bank of America card until Regions gets this straightened out.
