BS i got my phone in March right but i didn't add money to my phone cuz i thought i had a good 60 days to refill my account but my service got cut off i bought a refill card and tryed to refill but couldn't make any calls no service i called At&T customer service ill give it to them i talk to a nice young lady on the phone that answered all my questions i give her my sim card number and she told me since i was cut off from service i got to buy a new go phone sim card which is 25 bucks that i don't have she said AT&T didn't cut me off but thats how the system works it just cuts your service off if your service end date expires so now i just wasted 20 bucks on a refill card i can't use and a phone that i can't make calls from this is krazy i wish i knew this before i spent 150 bucks on my go phone when i get some money im going back to T moible cuz this is bS AT&T should warn u that if u don't keep up with your service end date that u have to buy a new sim card thanks for nothing AT&T

I had a delightful experience resolving my issue with Mark (Marc?) and previously with a woman whose name I don't recall. Both were friendly and tech smart! You know, like human beings working together. As customers, I think we often bring our own frustrations to the representatives and make matters seem worse tan they are. We, however, laughed a bit, shared a bit and all is well. I am happy with Att&T Go Phone for several years now as I rarely need it. Yet, I do agree~~c'mon corporations, your websites are ridiculous, a big ole ad, the robots can't "help",and your people are good: so where do you think your best investment lies, eh?

Many thanks toShondra Williams a very knowlegeable person with lots of patience who help me get my number ported over to my GoPhone, after three days wasting my time she was kind enough to call me back each day to follow the progress of porting my number and complete it !!!

Each and every time I called with a million questions your agents where beyond courteous. They were all patient and considerate not always easy. I am uneasy and uncomfortable with technology. Your representatives, I feel went above and beyond , I am more than satisfied. Some of the names that I remember are Kendall, Felicia, and, Felicia. I know you have a large number of reps. Perhaps you can find them via my incoming calls. They deserve at least a pat on the back ,or an atta boy. Thank you all so much!

Wonderful customer service experience. After reading all of the negative comments here I just had to post. I followed the instructions at the top of this page and hit "0" as soon as the recording started. I kept hitting "0" until I was transferred to an agent. "Chris" (a female) was very helpful. She is American and spoke perfect English. She answered all of my questions about my new gophone. Please follow the instructions above and your service experience might be much better. By the way, it is 10am Sunday morning, even though above they do not list Sunday hours. Great job ATT.... maybe you should get rid of the recordings.

Called this number, kept pressing 0 and got a real person named David!!! yeah!! and he helped me with everything and I am now a happy camper! I LOVE AT&T Go Phone and the tech service!!!

ATT has become one of the lousiest services ever.Even though I have been with them for over 10+ years i give up. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Every month for the past 8 months I have set up auto pay. It has yet to be put in place. Every month my service is temporarily disconnected. I have to go in add money with debit card and then after that set up auto pay again and again and again and again and again and again and again. This is getting ridiculous. I guess At&t doesn't caare about their customers anymore. I am so pi**ed at them. I never recommend them to anyone that asks me about their service. METRO PC, SPRINT, VERIZON, someone here I come at least they care

Two calls, both disconnected in the middle of trying to deal with these incompetent people. Who are they hiring to do customer service? From the Planet of the Apes? They must be paying peanuts because they're dumb as monkeys.

Ridiculous! It's a phone company and the prompts are impossible. Every month they take out money for the data plan and every month I have to call and have it re-set up. It takes forever to get a live person and it is hit or miss.

No matter who I talk to I have to be transferred to another department. That part is fine but the number I am transferred to is not in service. It took 4 times, about 45 minutes and a LOT of aggravation to get to a person that could help me. All I wanted to do was change my go phone plan from 25.00 to 50.00
I thought it was the worst phone prompts ever and why is a phone company routing a cutomer to a disconnected number?

I HAD A HARD TIME WITH YOUR CUSTOM SERVICE DEPT. THEN THEY WOULD NOT SEND ME A RETURN SLIP ON MY E-MAIL EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THEY WOULD.YOU NEED TO GET PEOPLE IN CUSTOM SERVICE THAT CAN SPEAK ENGLISH OR AT LEASE UNDER SAID IT.

I have tried for two days to speak with a person regarding my account that could not be answered thru one of your recorded prompts ........why do you make it so difficult to be able to reach someone who could answer my question within a minute or two?????

You need to change this.

how crazy! Bought a phone for my daughter and she misplaced it around July. I knew it was around the house so no worries. We found it in December but AT&T had already disconnected it and assigned the phone number to someone else. The $30 - $40 we had put on the phone is gone and if we want to use this phone again we have to buy a $25 sim card and add more money to the line! This is crazy....I can understand maybe after a year but the rep told me that just after 30 days they will disconnect the phone.

Customer service takes you to this horrible automated thing you can't get out of. I called to ask very specific questions and got so frustrated I ended up bellowing "CAN I JUST SPEAK TO SOMEBODY", which actually worked. I was connected surprisingly quickly to a very nice lady who answered my questions clearly, so that was good. But the amount of hassle AT&T puts you through before this point is unforgivable. Remember, when they're asking for voice commands, just say you want to speak to somebody and they will put you through even though they don't give that option.

Had a wrong 9.99$ charge on my gophone without buying anything. Getting online help was impossible, the att site sent me around in a loop, all phone numbers were just recordings. Very annoying. Thankfully I found this site with the access phone number and the trick to repeatedly press 0 to get a live person.

I was finally helped, and att was very helpful, fixed the fraudulent charge immediately. It had been a third party charge! they now turned purchase blocker on my phone on to prevent that in future.

OMG! That is about all I can say concerning the AT&T Go Phone. My husband decided to buy one to give ATT a try. So, I went online and activated the phone and added the $15.00 refill card. Only to hear an annoying voice yell at me "You can not make this call" to every phone number I tried. So, I do what most other people would do, I call customer service to find out what the deal is.
What I find is a woman whose broken english and accent is so strong that I can not understand one word that she is saying, then when she actually asks ME to repeat myself, I hang up, I call back hoping this time I will be able to speak with someone whom I understand and who understands me. No such luck, after 3 attempts and all three attempts was the same result, I decided that if AT&T is so greedy that they have to employ foreigners in other countries who can barely even speak the language to give me such crappy customer service, they can keep their phone and service. As for me and my family..we will use Verizon.

Thanks so much, Anon 4/12!! Got through on the first try and talked to a very nice woman, Gayle (sp?). Had my phone unlocked in no time. Tried through 611 and when I did get through, the guy just said "no" to my question and hung up.

your company has a $ 15 dollar pay as you go plan. and its unlimited talk& text. why are you charging ten cents a min.

My phone isn't working and I tried to login into my account online. It automatically sent me a new pin, because I was still using the default pin. Now I can't access my account online because the phone doesn't work for me to get my pin. Customer service says the only way to get it is through a text to THE phone. Anyone know of any other way to get the pin or access my account online?

SO it took me like 15 mins to get a real person
THEN
i cant understand her fricking accent. I have no issue with accents, or anything like that
But she kept talking so frickin fast and she started speaking spanish to me. I do not speak spanish, i don't understand anything in spanish. I was so lost for half the conversation.
Then she kept giving me the wrong information. I asked her what was the blanance on a certain date, she'd give me the one from the week before that.
It was incredibly frustrating.
After my phone runs out of money, i'm not putting more on it. I'm switching to Verizon or something.
