I purchased a Hamilton Beach microwave this summer at Walmart. Just recently the microwave was sparkling fire. Thankfully I was in the kitchen and was able to turn it off and unplugged it. I called Hamilton Beach to tell them what happened and was asked do I have the box or the receipt. I'm like who keeps the box or receipt for an appliance for months. I don't. If I knew that the microwave was not going to be any good after 4 months then I wouldn't have bought it. They ask for the info that's on the back of the microwave. I gave it to them. Then I was told to take it back to Walmart. Walmart said for me to call Hamilton Beach. Now this is a run around. Hamilton Beach said it's nothing that they can do. I'm like what I paid 79.99 plus tax for this microwave and when I purchased it. It didn't say to keep the box or receipt because it will catch on fire. I left a message for corporate to call me and I haven't received a call back yet!
