I don't recognize the phone number listed at the top of this page. I was bounced back and forth between two other numbers, (for "existing requests"), neither of which was helpful or even interested. Typical customer "service" these days, I know. When I made the appointment -- for a dishwasher I bought only 1.5 years ago that has a defective dispenser component that's now failed twice -- I was assured that my wish not to have the technician arrive as early as 8 a.m. would be honored. However, Whirlpool confirms its next-day appointments with a recorded call that mentioned the ENTIRE timeframe even if they've previously agreed not to come before a specific early hour. The two reps whom I spoke with were robotic and unhelpful. Only after a half hour wasted on the phone with two reps at two different numbers (who kept telling me to call "the other number"), trying to confirm the time they'd previously AGREED to, was it revealed that my appointment would be the third of the morning. Guess this was some closely guarded secret that they didn't want to divulge? Bad products, even worse customer "service."
