I purchased a dryer for my florida condo in December 2014. It was installed in January 2015. My old dryer removed and new one installed. However the old vent wasn't removed and used on my new machine. The old vent is not acceptable and can cause fires. It is the aluminum foil type. I only use my dryer two months out of the year and clothes were taking a long time to dry. On top of that i noticed water under my machine. I pulled out machine to see if hose was disconnected and felt a wetness and small hole which expanded on further investigation. I was informed of the potential danger caused by such venting material which would not be covered by insurance. I called sears and they scheduled a repair appointment which will cost me $79.00 for service' plus diagnostics and parts. I feel this is unfair because i paid for installation that was not done correctly. Now i am without use of my dryer for a week out of my 2 months here. I tried to rectify this by phone but was given the run around. Luckily there was no serious damage but i am very displeased. Your website makes it difficult to register a complaint. I hope someone reads this and acknowledges my concerns.
