I purchased a Sharp microwave oven. After 8 months is started sparking causing a fire hazard. Customer Service keeps giving me the run around and each customer service rep gives me a different story. One said - send photos and we will replace it. Another said since it sparked, I am being penalized for "improper use" because bacon should not be cooked in their units. When I called back hearing that nonsense, they apologized and promised to ship a new unit on April 9. I called back this morning, and they never shipped the unit. They need something in writing to DEMAND RESOLUTION. I called Sharp HQ asking for the person responsible for oversight of returns in Mahwah and they haven't called back either. Not too interested in customer service and poor communication within the company.
