I attended the Taylor Swift concert at Gillette Stadium this past Saturday with my cousin. I am writing you this letter to tell you how terrible my experience was due to the problems with YOUR tickets. I would be extremely happy if this letter got to the CEO of your company. My cousin and I had floor tickets in section A3. Since you are so inexperienced I will save you some time and tell you that those seats are EXTREMELY close to the stage. Those tickets each had a price of $98.00 on them (although we paid much more than that on Stub Hub). Our tickets were made of very thin paper and a lot of other people had the same type of ticket. These thin tickets that you gave us did not scan. We were referred to many different places and we finally made it to the Renaissance Hotel where there was what you call Stub Hub “Representatives.” We waited in line for over an hour with roughly a hundred other people. Finally around 7:00 we made it to the front of the line (the concert started at 6:30). The representative told us that she has seen this type of tickets scan many times before, but she gave us new tickets which she claimed to be “the next best seats.” Well, I concluded that she either had no idea what she was doing or she was an insane liar. Like I stated earlier our original ticket had a price of $98.00, but our “replacement” had a price of $49.50. I have attached a seating chart of the concert. We paid for seats in section A3, but we sat in section 305. Excuse me, but does that seem right to you? Obviously we got ripped off; there is no better way to put it. We paid for floor seats, but we got to sit in the nose bleeds where we sat freezing our butts off. Also, we did not even make it into the concert until after 7:30 because of YOUR mistake. It is now clear to me that Stub Hub is an unprofessional business filled with amateur workers. In my mind, your company is only in it to scam us! I am happy to say that I will NEVER be using Stub Hub again to get tickets to any event. I will make sure I get all of my tickets from your competitors. Also, do not think this “mistake” will go unnoticed. I will tell EVERYONE I know never to use Stub Hub again because of this massive problem. I never realized how irresponsible your company really is. I am sure you will go bankrupt due to the pathetic organization and management of your company. You essentially stole our money. You still owe my cousin and I seats in section A3 row 43 seats 3 and 4. If you were a professional company you would accept the fact that you did a terrible job with this event and you would give all the people who you ripped off their original seats for next year’s concert. I am sure I am not the only one telling you this either because many people were outraged. I hope you realize because of this event you have lost customers for life. I know that my family, friends, and the hundreds of others who were impacted by this mishap will never use Stub Hub to purchase tickets again because we do not want to deal with immature unprofessional attitudes. It is not ok for your representatives to yell at customers. I hope your company fails because of this event. I will make my experiences known.
