While I believe Newegg is a reputable company, I don't believe that will last long if you continue to have deliveries made by On Trac, I am spending the afternoon picketing our local On Trac after they have claimed To have delivered twice to my front door the keyboard I ordered from Newegg. Your company is the third one to use this incompetent delivery service. I quit Amazon because they use On Trac, while Grove Collaborative worked with me and now my packages are delivered by UPS. We have had the local news station come and take pictures, I sincerely hope you think of your companies reputation using a Yelp 1 star rated disaster delivery company and stop using On Trac.

Really great service! Once I got through the layers co computers asking me to select numbers. I tried another number a young sounding man resolved my issue in a few minutes. (He was human ) He helped me, was calm, knowledgeable, and respectable. Great job!

Newegg CS & a Supervisor sent me a Burner CD instead of an Optical Drive 2 different times and are hanging onto my cash for a week to 10 days. I don't think they even have what I need and change the subject and send me the opposite of an optical drive. They don't know that burner drives with storage cannot co-exist on an optical drive.

Ordered a motherboard, CPU, and Memory. Motherboard came in bad. RMA motherboard and got return 3 weeks later. Breadboard of system would not post. tried to return to New Egg and got RMA numbers. Then confusion started. Now New Egg generated a RMA without my request to return a CPU I don't have and was included with RMA returned to New Egg. Waiting - call # 4 to try to straighten out. Not impressed with NEW Egg customer services.

I have to give more credit to NewEgg's Customer Service staff than most other reviewers here. In my experience, they make a genuine effort to help with a problem. However NewEgg absolutely drives off the cliff when it comes to order fulfillment: I purchased an item with the prominently highlighted notice in their product description of "1-3" days expedited shipping -- and this was for ALL purchases of the product, NOT just for their Premier members. The 3-day expedited shipping was confirmed at check out, BUT then they shipped it via UPS Ground! Who wants any piece of electronics to rattle around in the back of a freight truck for whole week? At least other online dealers honor their word.

awful, awful, awful!!!! Never again! I ordered a pc online, realized it was not the one i wanted, I canceled it 2 minutes after I ordered it, and was told it was too late to cancel, that it had already been shipped! Yea Right! I had to wait 2 and 1/2 weeks for my money to be refunded. Shady practices, i will never order anything from Newegg again. I order the computer i actually wanted through Best Buy and had zero issues.

My account claims my item has shipped a week ago, yet my tracking number wasn't ever made active and the shipping carrier never received the item. I called Newegg for a refund and I still have yet to see my money. I strongly recommend not shopping at Newegg - they have shady shipping practices.

Ordered 2 PCs of same type and in less than 30 days, 1 went into constant reboots. Due to their policy of needing ALL original packaging, I have to utilize the manufacturer's warranty which puts my small business in a major crunch. The best way to lose customers, pinch pennies instead of quickly aiding them.

I bought about $3000 worth of computer parts from newegg.com i receved the parts i opened the motherboard and found out the board had bent pins i asked for a rma from them and sent it in then about a month later i got an email saying that they would not honor the rma they sent it back with little to none of the packaging i sent with the board i would think that a company that prides its slef on customer service would do something other than "im sorry try the manufacturer's warranty" which thay wouldnt accept due to the fact that the didnt send all of the packaging that i sent them

repeat customer but no more!!!!! purchased a Hinsense tablet on 2/23/14 ...tablet would not charge..since this was a refub had to return to 3rd party at my expense. received 2nd tablet 3/17/14 and after 3 weeks charging port broke completely off. Newegg will not accept responsibility for defective product even though sold thru them. I have asked for a credit to purchase a replacement but was offered a $15.00 gift card....not happy

Poor service, poor customer service all over $3.99. I ordered an item on 1/30/14, it is now 3/27/14 and I haven't received the package. Customer service tells me I have to contact the seller myself to resolve this. Well I ordered it for Newegg.com, paid Newegg.com and they want me to contact a third party seller to resolve this, and wouldn't refund the $3.99. Now they have lost a longtime customer. They used to be really good, but now as they got bigger, the customer doesn't seem to matter as much.

I originally learned about NewEgg from my engineer friends and have purchased from them several times. Recently, I purchased a replacement battery for my son's cordless drill. He lives on the West coast, me, on he East coast. I called the 800 number, listened to the (confusing) prompts and finally got a recording asking me to HOLD. I HELD for a long time and finally gave up. From reading other reviews, it is apparent that communication is not one of NewEgg's priorities. I doubt that I will ever buy from them again.

I thought this was an honorable business - at least it was my son's experience for years. So, I decided to purchase my new laptop through them - BIG mistake!!!

Prior to purchasing I called the sales rep line to make sure the advertised Lenovo IdeaPad U410 I planned on purchasing had all the features I wanted since the listing was incomplete. Among other details, I wanted to ensure that the Ultrabook U410 had Bluetooth since I was purchasing a tablet with Bluetooth at the same time and wanted to be able to sync phone, tablet and laptop (all of which I stated VERY clearly to the sales rep) ... I was assured it had integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and I proceeded with the purchase.

Got the products within 24 hours (excellent), but the Ultrabook turned out to be a lemon (hey, it happens, no big deal - there's warranty). Among other issues, Bluetooth connectivity didn't work. So, I sent it to Lenovo warranty service for repair, together with a list of issues, the non-functioning Bluetooth being one of them - so far, so good.

The machine comes back, fixed, with a note: "THIS MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH." Hello, what??? Contacted NewEgg and requested replacement with a machine that does have Bluetooth - nope, cannot do that!!! WHAT? I purchased a product on erroneous information given by their sales people and they are not correcting this??? Sure, it's past the 30-day replacement guarantee, but it was purchased based on erroneous information supplied by Newegg sales rep at the time of purchase - so they will HAVE to replace it (currently seeking the recording of the call - initially was told there wasn't one, then all of a sudden there was one, we'll see if I get the recording as requested - although they can doctor it any which way it suits them - crooks!!!). Nope, they refuse to even discuss it ... so, I am filing a BBB complaint against the company, also filing with California Secretary of State business services branch. Will post updates as the case continues!

On 24 January 2013, I ordered an open box Sans Digital 8 Bay Enclosure for $224.99 from Newegg, Inc., 9997 East Rose Hills Road, Whittier, CA 90601. It arrived on 28 January 2013 at my residence. I took all of the contents out of the box noticing that the hard drive caddies were missing. I called Newegg Inc. and they stated that they would send me an “RMA” number so I could return the device. On 29 January 2013, I went to my account on the newegg website to create a UPS label for return that they charged me $17.79 for. I sent the enclosure they sent me back that afternoon. On 4 February 2013 I received an email from newegg (see below) stating that I had sent them a different enclosure and they were sending it back to me. I wrote them a scathing email stating that this is a scam and they are committing fraud. I also added quite a bit of nasty profanity in that email. I called then on 4 February 2013 at 5:47 pm for approximately 31 minutes. I stated that I know that the open box was one that someone sent back after switching items. Newegg stated that the device was never sold from newegg. The device they sent me was the one that I returned to them. I believe that this is a warehouse worker who did not check the serial number. They need to talk to the person that returned this device before I ordered it and they will find the enclosure they are accusing me of returning to them. I am willing to swear upon this statement and take a polygraph on the validity.

I also have to by eight hard drives that run about $1,600 and a network control device that runs about $500 so they just lost $2,100 for ripping me off and accusing me of being a liar and a thief.

Customer service doesn't listen. Asks a question, completely disregards the answer, and spouts a canned response. Over and over. I have never been so frustrated. Had to call at 6:30AM, before work, and they couldn't even locate my order. I will NEVER go back!

I will never order from NewEgg ever again. First time and last one. I purchased an Xbox bundle and there was a missing part. Customer service told me they can't guarantee the parts I don't see on their online add which is what..an xbox, kinect and three games. Are you kidding me? so if I'm missing a cable or the controller, they just say, I'm sorry. Never again.

First time I bought from Newegg my monitor stand was broken. The customer service person I spoke with was rude, wouldn't let me talk, tried to willfully misunderstand what I was saying so she could say there was no problem with the merchandise, and tried to get me to pay shipping to send the whole unit back just because one part was defective. I finally got the number for the manufacturer out of her and they fixed my problem in minutes, with no cost to me. My recommendation has to be DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG.

for the guy who calls everyone a complainer i also had been a long time customer of newegg but no longer i have received twice in a row an open cpu i paid for a brand new unopened box and this is over two weeks running of this garbage the second time around i was supposed to recieve a next day shipping label so that i should have my new cpu by christmas nope they aren't getting it till christmas eve which simply will not do so i said either ship me out a new one right now speed up the return shipping process or refund my money right now they said they would refund me my money three to five business days after they get the opened one back that is unacceptable.... lesson don't use newegg so now i cant do a computer build for someones christmas present because i neither have a cpu or the money thanks newegg oh and one other things they blocked my product rating explaining that i would love to rate the product but cant since it was opened the protective padding was missing for the pins the cpu had clearly been cleaned off and there was a fingerprint on the bottom of the heatsink

All of you are just Complainers.. I have been a long time customer of Newegg and I have recieved defective merch.. but I just RMA it and I get a new one.. and I don't buy junk from anyone.. A customer does have the responciblity of researching products before they buy.. Quit Complaining and get an RMA number.

I have been a Newegg customer for 11 years (since 4/20/2001 to be exact) and have been happy with them until just 3days ago, when a request to return a defective OCZ SSD drive was refused, because they would have to eat the loss (which they feel is not warranted). In selling the item I saw nothing to warn me that this was a non backed item. And if course had I been informed, I would NOT have bought it. Heck, I don't even buy refurbished stuff, as the lesser warranties offered tell me that the manufacturer itself doesn't trust the stuff, so why should I?
I have contacted OCZ with the problem and am presently awaiting their response.
Newegg has dropped vastly in my evaluation of quality vendors, and will certainly not be recommended by me without a hefty 'caveat emptor'. Really a pity (which I am sure Amazon will enjoy!)

I had been ordering from NewEgg for years, but after this experience will probably never order from again.

I order a clock from New Egg, it was defective, okay it happens, so I call to get an RMA and shipping label to return this defective product.

I was told that NewEgg would not handle this RMA, that it was between me and NewEgg's vendor. What!!!

After getting to a supervisor I was told they would get me the RMA.

I received the RMA but no shipping label.

So of course I called NewEgg's customer service and spoke with Renee, very rude, talking over me, so I asked for her supervisor, Elaine, again rude talking over me, so I asked for her Manager, Jacquelyn I asked her for an email address to complain about the customer service i had experienced with NewEgg, She told me their is no email address for complaints concerning customer service but she could either give me her email address or the physical address to corp and did not know who to make it attn to. I find this to be astounding that NewEgg would not want to know how their customer service department is doing, i know for my company I definitely want to know because customer satisfaction is key to my or any company's survival.

All this hassle over a $5.00 shipping label.

When I or anyone purchases a product from a vendor, it is expected to deal with that vendor, not that companies vendor.

I have decided to just eat the $8.99 for the defective clock and the S/H charged for it, as NewEgg has decided not to give a shipping label until after I pay for the shipping and await to be reimbursed for the defective product that NewEgg sold to me and then wait for the reimbursement for the shipping.

The money is not the big issue here, it is the principle concerning the relationship between customer and the vendor (NewEgg) a product is purchased from and that vendor standing behind what they advertise and sell.

I am shock at how difficult and rude that NewEgg's customer service has become when dealing with long time customers over a defective product they sold to them.

If the last NewEgg Customer Service Manager is correct, no one who cares will read this email but at least I feel better being able to expressing my dissatisfaction with the way I have been treated by NewEgg over a defective product sold to me by NewEgg and how rude NewEgg's customer service has been concerning these types issues.

All this over a $5.00 shipping label, go figure...
