Kaspersky customer service reviews

Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from Kaspersky.

I recently received an e-mail from Kaspersky. It said my security would expire
and it was time to renew. I did this and found the re-order website so confusing I ordered twice. Then came the impossible task of getting a refund.
Then my security was turned off. Then I got
a virus need I say more.
Yes, I will. I then reviewed my records and my previous order was for three years
not to expire til 2015.
What happened to customer service?????
I hope these people read these reviews and someone contacts me to straighten out this mess.
Remember when you talked to a person who
cared. This is their opportunity to renew my faith in big company customer service.
We will see what happens.

On Hold For Over One Hour...do Not Use This Company

Kaspersky has Billed during the same time period 6-21-13 $48.50,3-20-2013 32.36

Does anyone read the correspondence? Kaspersky has stated they successfully downloaded there product, that would be hard to do to a computer that has been destroyed for over 2 years. They have not given a valid email address that it was sent to, or a billing or a snail mail billing

If card member services would check your records you would find I have been over billed by Kaspersky over and over to the point that I have changed my card. In the past they have sent me a notice of renewal online and after renewing online the auto billed my card account, so this company has a past with overbilling me.

Kaspersky has sent me to an offshore costumer service that remotely accessed my computer and after searching for over a half hour I was told they could not find a confirmation but I would be charge anyway, than I was offered TECH service for an overpriced fee!

I have no problem with Kaspersky software; I have a problem with Kaspersky and companyâ??s like them that have made more money over billing me than selling me a product.

At this point of spending way too much of my time dealing with this problem it would be easier to stop /change card and software companies.

I tried calling kaspersky technical support and they were of no help to me. They wanted me to pay $300 to get the virus removed. However when i did some research on google i found this company called completechsupport.com. They were able to fix my issue and only charged me $199.99. I ended up saving $100 and they were very efficient in solving my computer issue. Also to add to it they gave a 1 year AMC for any software issue in the same cost. Their customer service is excellent and i would alays recommend calling these companies to get your computer issues fixed.I dont really recollect their phone number however

I just received a notification that my subscription would be automatically renewed & am quite upset by this. When first installed I ended up with over 100 viruses in the system. which I had to then HIRE someone to clean all of it out. I tried contacting Kaspersky & finally ended up with some yahoo from India who tried to sell me a $300 program to keep everything clean. WTF? I never did get a refund & was/am upset by the whole horrific experience. PLM

Yesterday I uploaded a virus that the Kaspersky software did not stop. I called the help desk and they ran a scan and found that there was one virus and a few registration errors. They removed the virus but it did not fix the problem. They wanted to charge me $199 to fix the problem because they said SweetPac was not a virus.
After doing some research on Google (on a different computer) it turns out that SweetPac is a virus and I was able to remove it myself.
My question is why am I paying for software that does not catch viruses? And my biggest concern is what if someone called and didn't know how to locate a virus program and remove it.
I am not happy with a service department that tries to con more money out of someone for asking for help with a problem that their product is supposed to fix.

Re.Kaspersky Lab - Auto-renewal notification
I have found it difficult to contact you - the emails you send are 'non reply' and the "click URL" on your renewal letters does not work.

I needed merely to change me card number (because cards are regularly renewed) but was that this couldn't be done (which doesn't make sense) and I was advised to re-order, in which case I would have to pay $56 instead of $46-00. I find all this all unacceptable and have thus made other arrangements.

I got a message telling I need to renew my Kaspersky. However, I have gotten a error that won't allow me to print. If I got this problem while I had Kaspersky current - why the Hell would I want to renew? Not being able to speak to a human being just makes me even more less likely to have anything to do with you.

worst company ever you guy do not answer the customer service line!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY DISPPOINTED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!! The pure 2.0 only worked for 3 day then quit running I try to call and nothing. I shall let every one know on facebook and every social media I can about the programm and even lett consumer report know how your customer service works.I cannot even get the program to load from the email I saved. I renewed the program 2-2-13

Obviously there is no accountability for this product. I have been given over 10 numbers or a voice mail without a name. I was informed that the person I need to speak to may or maynot be coming in or may check her messages from home! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I will be writing reviews to no avail! All I needed was the E-Mail the former IT teck used to set up my account. HOW UNPROFESSONAL IS THIS!

Most incredible coombination I have ever seen: supposedly the best anti-virus and computer security system in the business yet the most complete and abysmal customer service failure in the industry. Have been a customer of theirs for about a decade having been steered there from the most knowledgable and recognized computer genius in the world. With rare exception, every installation or renewal haws come with some sort of error or glitch, most of which took days of endless back and forth to finally get id done, with a lot of anguish. The latest is that I cannot delete Kaspersky IS 2012 for the free upgrade to Kaslpesky IS 2013 ("...a free, and very easy upgrade...") AFTER deleting 2012 it as they said to install 2013, I can now neither reiinstall 2012, noe 2013, nor another antivirus system. Something in their gremlins is now in my computer not letting it do any installation of anything. And I have been without anti-virus for ten days while they email back and forth. As soon as I get it clean, I am saying goodbye to the best security there is. This is a total joke.

Worst company EVER to deal with. Though I cancelled auto renewal, I got a notice that it had been auto renewed. Even if I had auto renewal, it isn't due until December of 2013.

When I try to contact them, it tells me it's an invalid email address or password. It's the same email address they sent the notice.

I clicked the "forgot my password" and had it emailed to me just to make sure. Entered everything correctly and it still says invalid.

They did this same thing less than a month ago and after an hr. on the phone with someone who spoke broken english, she assured my I would get a refund. The refund still hasn't been credited back, and now I have yet another charge for a service I didn't request and isn't due for another year. ARRRRGH!!

I purchased the Kaspersky Pure2.0 and installed on my desktop and have had my Outlook crash last night for the third time and had to take in again. I had the Kaspersky regular on both laptop and desktop and had no problems. I put the new Pure on the desktop and nothing but trouble. The people that are working on ly computer said that the pure 2.0 has been a problem. I am so disappointed with this. The other was good. Thought from the reviews I read on this on your website made me think I was doing a good thing by purchasing this. So sorry I did. Now I am stuck with this program that I would not install on my other computer. I bought in August but did not install for a while until the other ran out. Purchased at Walmart for $70.00 and now money wasted and crashing my Outlook Express. Please email me at if you can help me or if I could trade this in for the regular Kaspersky. I would be so appreciative. I am not sure I feel good installing on any other computer and having it crash too. Thank You

I may as well join the club. Horrific phone support with incorrect numbers, debit card expired during initial purchase. Resubmitted with new card and now fighting with constant pop-up "Unable to .......due to expiration of licensing agreement". Why? I received the back up copy of the Anti-Virus, you would think there would be some sort of interface to bring this together. Looks like 75 bucks down the drain. Guess I'll return to MacAfee

Ive been trying to install internet security and activate it for a week and a half now. Ive made several calls to various tech support #'s but have been unable to get support for the cd installation I purchased. On my previous attempt I was able to install it but not activate it. I am now getting a script that says serious security issues application stopped, The cd then directed me to rescue disc 10 and seems to be stuck in the e drive and making a horrible humming noise. I am afaraid to unplug it thinking it may crash and I may lose all data? Any suggestions?

Thank you for these telephone numbers! After two days of trying to install Kaspersky onto my Kindle Fire, Hector in customer service said not compatible, never has been compatible but they are working on it. Many thanks to the tech support person I spoke with that told me before I bought the software that "of course Kaspersky works on Kindle Fire." LOve the software, but this is wrong and I think fraudulant! No refund without removing the software from all of my computers and phones too.

When my internet security subscription was about to expire, I clicked to renew and it screwed up my computer because I didn't uninstall the previous years version first, this is a pain in the ***. When renewing the subscription, it should simply continue working like it was. Now my USB port is not functional and trying to get help from Kaspersky on this matter has been a frustrating experience. They suck at tech support if/and when you get thru, they're in INDIA, not the USA where I am calling from, and hard to understand. I wish they would make the products they sell easier to use

for some reason, still unknown, your virus software kept screwing up. after 3 tries and infinite amounts of time on hold with support staff who took what seemed like immense pleasure in transferring me to someone who could help me (NOT) i gave up. i didn't mind because i bot the product on a promotion of a full refund. oops, i sent that in 6 months ago and they were "reissuing" the check again today for the 2nd time. people said you were the best but it is amazing to me that you are in business at all. i do all i can to steer people away from you and trash talk you any chance i get. i'm not a techhie by any stretch but my experience with you has been so unpleasant i've just reduced my need/use of computers in general.
