Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from Green Dot.
1)I think I input a wrong #from my social security number and need to talk to a real person to fix this. 2) The number they give you to call has only 2 options, and when I put in the card# and SS# it says there's an error. 3)Online says card registered. 4)Tried to use card after registered and was declined. 5)Googled "how to talk to live person at Greendot.com", and the phone numbers given are the same that come w/ the card, said choose option 5. There is no option 5. Even pressed 5 to see if I'd get anyone. Nope. Keeps asking for the card/SS#. Tried 5 different numbers to no avail. Very frustrated, spent a whole day on this. Can't use my money. Do not use this bank!!
They closed my account for no reason with no notice with $900 still on it. Can't for the life of me reach a freaking human. Getting a lawyer. Sons of biatches. Dam crooks. Burn in hell green dot. I'm going to begin a petition to shut them down. I will stand in front of wal mart with my story for the world to hear. I hate green dot. Hate them.
This is strictly a customer service matternth at I want to ADDRESS to c/o GreeenDot pre-paid cards. I specifically want that account canceled/closed, due to was lost or stolen and never recovered. My apologies; this is NOT a review. I never had any problems, using the card and/or obtaining balance information. I would recommend, to anyone to using the card.
I have been on hold for 1hr trying to fix my account. first you said you couldn't see the Photo I upload and I did it twice still no contact has been made. I need my funds released or I will be contacting my attorney today. This is uncalled for to treat customers in this manner. this the worst business I have ever had to deal with. call me today
Purchased a load & go Green Dot card at Walgreens on 12/15/17 I have been trying to activate it since. The card keeps coming back as invalid. I took the card and the receipt back to Walgreens who also refused to assist me with this matter. I have called every number I could find in order to reach green dot human customer service. All automated no live person. I'm going to call the Walgreens corporate office tomorrow. Very upset with green dot and Walgreens as this card I had put $500.00 and paid $20.00 for loading it and fees and I want my money back. What a fraud. Very dissatisfied. Guess I will be reporting it to FCID for banking fraud as well.
