Terrible web tools, terrible operations, terrible support.

- I cannot update my Subdomain records - an acknowledged bug for 10+ weeks now.
- I cannot add SRV records to my domain without support
- I was not able to update DNS records without errors
- When changing the administration UI, they changed my MX configuration to values 3-4 years earlier. No explanation and the lost email was lost business.
- Custom support often takes over 72 hours to perform simple tasks. They close tickets that are not resolved.

Stay away, I am transferring.

I can not for the life of believe that a company in this day and age do not have available support or any contact details for e-mail. I am in the UK an they only have a US Number which is only contactable in hours relative to the time difference also.

Shocking, will never use Dotster again!

Dotster is the worst

NEVER USE DOTSTER

Site was down for a whole weekend, when it came back up it was the wrong config information so I had to set up everything again. No reason for this, just happened.

Wanted to make a complaint but no email, contact support or complaint procedure. The telephone numbers given to me didn't work.

This company is a joke. I pay money for this! I will be cancelling my account these guys are idiots

I am not sure that Dotster customer support is good enough. (1) The company did not notify me before they blocked my free account. (2) They also instantly blocked my access to files and did not give me a chance to retrieve them. (3) E-mail of the customer support is not accessible. (4) The login page for free services is not working.

The customer support at Dotster is fantastic. They offer 24 hr support which is very rare in the industry now. Best support for a web service I have ever experienced!! There will always be special issues that can take time to resolve, but I feel they do their best to fix my issues.

I am very disappointed in the Customer Service support. A company that holds your domain name should be able to help you 24/7 as stated on the Web site. I turns out there are people that answer the phone but do not have authority to help you solve your problem.

You have to wait until business hours. I did call during business hours except that they did not finish the transaction as I thought they would.

2011 How sad to run business this way!
