I bought a car out of state and the lender turned out to be J.P. Morgan Chase. Can I just say first off that Chase is the same company as JP Morgan Chase, just even more shady that a company uses more than one name and multiple web sites. I thought I would be fine with a big name lender. Turns out they started messing up my car loan paperwork from the start. The first bill I received already had a late fee attached. That made NO sense. I had to call and be on the phone several hours to straighten it out. I made the payment immediately online on their site. Fourteen days later I get harassing calls. A guy calls my work number (never gave this out as I work for the government). He tells me his name is Amos and he is from Chase, he starts yelling at me and berates me telling me that not making my payments, especially my first one is serious, and that they will take me to collections and I will lose my car. I am very angry at this point for being harassed and barked at by some ape that states he represents the bank. One I tell him, it's my first payment, and two, I made the payment already, and three, who the hell do you think you are calling my work yelling at me and threatening me. I called the bank several times to report the man and see what was going on . I find out the payment was never taken out of my account. Ok, so I do the online thing again, this time with a bank online manager over the phone. She guides me through the steps, verifies my bank info and sees that the bank name pops up correctly when the info is entered. Once again, harassing calls days later. Once again, they cannot process my payment. Check, my account has almost 1,500.00 in it. SO what's the problem? I gave them my entire checkbook info. They kept screwing up my payment, 4 times total! The same payment dragged on for over a month with these jerks. Drama has ensued each time I have made a payment with these guys. I've had their BS fake late charges dropped several times because of their error. I hate this bank MORE than HSBC, and that say s a lot since both are run by the devil. I'm looking to getting a loan elsewhere to pay off this one so I could tell these f*ckers up your @**holes! It's nothing but problems when I try to make my car payments. Only problem is the closest bank is in another state!

I had my credit card with WAMU and was never late been with the same bank for 15 years zChsse comes on cancells my card wont explain other than saying you have other cards well duh and Im not late or over limit with any of those., So then I sign up for Chase rewards and they made it sound like a point for every qualifying dollar ohhhh no its not that its a half of a point for every five dollars.. I mean for real, at that rate I will have enought for a plane ticket to see my great great grandchild born,(oh and Im not even a grandma yet)this bank sucks but they make it soo hard to switch banks with direct deposits.Ughhh

I've called 3 different numbers before getting more "please hold" machines, do you ever answer the phone!!! 15 minutes later they told me wrong number again, so what would the customer service be like? I read the reviews and it looks likes you dont have any happy customers. Thanks for wasteing my time!!

this bank sucks i am alway overdrawn this is the first bank that i had dirct deposit with and it seems when i put my money in someone elses hand i get messed over, i became a chase member in july i did the cashback option and i used it all of august and they didnt give me nothing at all i suppose to get money back after a certin amount is spent, this bank does not care about the customers, its alot of lies between what they say they tell you the good but leave out the bad i am completly done with this bank

I have been on unemployment for the last five or six months. Why did unemployment tell me that I had to have a Chase Bank card in order to get unemployment? And believe it or not that isn't the problem I have as to why I'm writing this comment. I went to take some money out of my unemployment account and it charged me twice. It's a good thing I caught it before I went to take my sister out for burgers albeit it may have been burger king because I don't have much to live on as all of us who get unemployment know. Well that same night I spent the better part of an hour trying to get someone to answer me on the phone but to no avail. I also tried for about 30 minutes the next morning and also no one answered the phone, you folks know what I mean, they put you on hold and have trumpet music playing until you can't take it any more, but guys give me a break for almost an hour? I sure hope I can get this eventually fixed. I sure don't like going around afraid to take money out of my unemployment account and not knowing whether or not they'll take a double one on me again.

How can this company be in business? How could our government give them Billions of dollars to remain in business. I spent two hours on the phone today to talk to a customer service representative but hung-up because my ear started swelling. Ridiculous!!! This company disperses unemployment for the state. Even more ridiculous!!!!!!!Their customer service people are in the Philipines.They take taxpayer dollars and outsource their customer service to Filipinos?

Good Gentlepeople, Just exactly wht you said. In Short CHASE Sucks Big Time. Never Use Chase. My PNC/WaMu mortage rolled over to Chase. I have NEVER had so much trouble with any one or any company. No I am paying another company to refi my mortage just to get it the Frick away from Chase. Dang. I hope Chase Does go under.

Chase is THE worst !! I had my card for 5 years,never late on a payment,and always paid more than min payment,every month...all of a sudden they closed my account...their reason was that I had high balances on my other credit cards?I was no where near the limit on this chase card,and only have 4 other cards.Never been late on ANY payments,dont know my credit score,but i am sure this made it drop.I will NEVER do business with them again!!!!

They are the worst credit card company that
i ever had. they closed my acount after having never ben late from the time the card was open 2004 and closed in 2009. They lie about everything.

I have had the worst customer service experience of my life with Chase. They contacted me a few months ago as part of some program they have to identify people that may have trouble with their mortgage. I told them that we were fine, but were also considering refinancing since rates were so low. They invited us in to discuss. After that meeting, we agreed to provide the requisite information to begin the process of refinancing. That is where it fell apart. Despite 7 emails over 6 weeks promising an update, we never received any substantive follow up. They basically took all of our information, routinely promised follow up calls, and never once actually did so. I hope the next time Chase needs a bailout, they are simply left to fail.

I have had a Chase credit card for over 20 years. I have never asked for an increase in my limit, over the years they upped it to 41K. my FICO is 740, always pay as soon as bill comes out, three to four times the payment amount, never late to pay anything. They cut my limit, first to 16K but I negotiated it back to 25K. I am looking for a house to buy so I was very upset at the risk to my FICO. Did so arbitrarily, stating I owed too much money (the total of my balances is less than one third of my credit lines) and I owe less than in previous years. They are on a campaign to slash limits on very high credit lines without regard to the effects on your FICO. They don't care if your income is high, you pay on time, doesn't matter. They should have never given me a high limit like that and just slash it when they feel like it. Will close out account as soon as I purchase the house. Will never do business with them again. Also their short sales take up to 400 days I hear and they are rated very low by short sell companies. They are an incompetent bank, am currently short their stock.

Today is 06/02/2010 . Icome to the Chase Bank located at 4824 n pulaski road . Custormer services are not professionall . Why do I said like that ? I come there early morning then write my name on the card board with no name in font . after me is spanish lady ,customer services come out speak their language and get her in with out check in the card board even her name sign up after my name . I request her name with recepttionist guy ,he refuse me and get suppervisor .She make up story look like i am a kid . too busy ! (too busy so that custormer services can services by face ) . I know that :" they could make story , they had apointment but i sure 100% that that lady come after me with out apointment .Could you take a look with this banch this country is american freedom . thank you ! Hope you don't services custormer like that ways .

Chase is truly the worst! They have strung us along for almost 2 years, have lied, and have dealt with us in bad faith. Although we met the "trial period" criteria, they set an auction date for our home. I feel sure that the local inspector they sent identified it as very nice (thanks to us) property, and they want it.
My husband is an attorney, and he is drafting a lawsuit as I write this.
He is beyond angry, as am I. No one likes to be railroaded, and they seem to have no empathy for homeowners, nor a desire to work with them.
I am a Tax Accountant (IRS credentials) and I am telling every client to avoid this bank AT ALL COSTS.

My problem started back in November of 09,we were having a problem accessing the online account.We called chase to take care of this problem and after weeks of them trying to fix it our card ended up getting messed up.We have now been trying to get a replacement card for about 2 months and still have not received it.After waiting about a month for the first card to come in,we called and ordered another one.When calling Chase they say the card has been issued and in the mail,it has now been two weeks to the day that they said it was mailed and still no card.When calling customer service the recording says it will take 5 to 7 days to get a replacement.Every time you talk to someone you get a different story and rude people.I have had problems with companies in the past but never like this,i would recommend staying away from this company at all cost.

I have also had a horrible experience with Chase Mortgage. I bought a Short Sale from them. At the time of the sale, half the property taxes had already been paid by them/previous owner. After the sale closed, they claimed that I owned for the 1st and 2nd tax installments although the County Controllers Office claimed this was false information (verified on their website with the parcel #). I called the county and verified that installment one, had been paid already by Chase prior to buying the home. I forwarded this information on to them, and they told me it was incorrect. I urged them to pick up the phone themselves to verify, they refused and sent me to collections claiming that I needed to pay them the fees that they stated were due (although I had the tax bill from the assessors office stated no taxes are due until 2010-2011). I sent a complaint to the Federal Res as well as OCC and have been now told my escrow account is in the processes of being closed but they dont know where my 1600 dollars is within their system. They are in the process of 'analyzing it' . RUN AWAY FROM THIS BANK. How simply is it to pick up a phone and handle an issue? I mean really? really? what a joke to even had bailed this institution out. They obviously have all the same employees that are still doing the same type of job they have been performing since the banking mess they created for themselves years ago.

I went online to make a credit card payment, what a joke! The site kept trying to get me to apply for a card. Finally I got an IM from a Chase representative, I told him what I was trying to do and he said "I can't help you with that I don't have your account information." I said, "I have my account information." He never responded. I gave up and mailed the payment.

chase's service is terrible. i have thousands of dollars in their bank and make a very high income yet they won't even approve me for the most basic credit card, while i have no bad credit and the only loan i have have never made a late payment

I recieved a letter from chase offering a refinance of my loan. I made an inquiry in November stating I did not want to start this process if it could not be completed before the end of the year. I was assured this was more than possible. I am what is called a GOLDEN CUSTOMER. This has been the worst experience possible. It was handled unprofessionaly and rudely. No one has been pro active except myself. I have been a customer of this bank for more than 30 years and NOW realize my loyalty if worthless to the powers that be. Who reviews these employees? I recieve better service at any retail outlet anyone can name. This is shameful and I have no clue who I should register my complaint to. The employees know this .......they don't care and are covering each other backs. BIG is NOT BETTER. Update: Of course my loan has not been approved on time, even though I have NEVER been late with a payment and have paid off my loans ahead of schedule(ALWAYS). I'd love to speak to somone who can help me but it is useless.

I called to challenge a double charge to my account at a fast-food chain. After being transferred and on hold for 45m, I took my money loss, I gave up. Time is priceless.

I have never been treated more rudely and with actual lying by the Chase Mortgage people. I sold a home and was due an escrow check, which was NOT given to me at closing. I was told that Chase had "every right" to hold the check for 25 days which they were doing. After I got a little upset they then said they had "sent it." Which was not true. When I called back, the woman named "Marika" (who know she scarcely spoke English) refused to correct the situation. I asked for her boss and was told, honest to God, "I do not have one." I then suggested since she owned Chase she could fix the situation. She said "someone" would call me back. She herself called me back in two hours (did not even bother to disguise her voice)and said everything was sent out. When she called me actually a week later to see if they had my correct address, she claimed she was an "account supervisor" and could answer all my questions. They lie, they hold back your money, and then act as if you are the ignorant person. In the midst of all of this, while they could absolutely would not wire me my money, they could wire it into a Chase account! Would I like to open one?
Size is one thing but rudeness and deceit is quite another.

Today I was at branch #tx3-8198 to open a saving account when the personal banker told me there is no Interest paid on any saving accounts. I informed her every saving account I had I was paid interest. I also
told her that is not right what chase is doing because when the bank loans out money they are borrowing money from the saving accounts in return the bank is collecting interest from every loan. Then James Rhodes came over and slammed his hand on the desk in a threatening manner and in a rude tone of voice informed me that is the new way of doing business. I then told him I will take my checking account to another bank. The branch manager was no help at all. I am writing to let you know if you do not improve your customer service more people will be leaving your bank. I been loyal customer for over 3 years but it is time to move on due to bad customer service and lack of respect. This bank is becoming just like Bank of America. I will be telling all the military veterans and active duty about the poor customer service at that branch.

I have been trying to modify my loan for 7 months now. I call every week and I get the answer "I DON'T KNOW." What kind of an answer is this? I have been told that the process time has been shorten to 30 days. Why is mine taking 7 months? The customer service department in the Eminent Default Department is horrible. I have also called the highers ups and this was a joke. The person I talked to assured me that I would get a call from the modification department and I am still waiting. I have received only 2 calls from Chase since March and that is it. I have asked for Managers since July and they will not transfer me to one. What kind of organization is this? They can't even say my name properly which is an insult to me. I hope that this bank gets taken over by someone who has much better Customer Service cause I am closing all my accounts with Chase and moving to another bank with better Customer Service...I have been with this organization since Great Western Days, great bank, Home Savings, great bank, Wamu, great bank, Chase---AWFUL. Anyone reading this DON'T EVER USE CHASE.....
