I reported the following problem with my kindle on 12/2/22.
I have two readers, a Samson Tablet, and a Kindle Paperwhite.
When I place an order for a book, it is sent to the tablet only. The books in my Kindle library are not accessible by my tablet, and the books in my tablet library are not accessible by my Kindle.
I was informed the problem is being caused by the fact of having two accounts under the same email address. In addition, my Kindle device has been deactivated.
I was told the problem is being escalated to a higher tech support service and I would be receiving an email when their corrective actions were complete. I was told to expect the email within 24 hours, at which time I should de-register both of my devices and then re-register the devices, but not before receiving the email confirming the correction has been made.
It has now been 120 hours, and no email.
I called today (12/9 1:30 pm EST) asking for information on the problem I reported.
IT WAS DEJAVIEW ALL OVER AGAIN
I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED TO BE ESCALATED TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF SUPPORT, AND THEY WOULD CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL WHEN IT WAS CORRECTED AND I NEEDED TO WAIT FOR THE PROBLEM TO BE CORRECTED!!!
So now I am waiting again! How long, no one really knows.
The Customer Service problem tracking is pitiful.

Your customer service and your return policy need a lot of work. If you cannot return items better you will lose mine and my granddaughters business!
I spend a lot of money reading kindle books on amazon but I will sure pull my business!

Spoke to someone, who appeared to be offshore, and was not able to resolve the issue at the moment. -Had to wait on today's shipment to be sure the item was shipped- The issue is, the seller sent a message that the item would not be shipped for 28 days. Amazon showed it shipped, but my records did not. ---Nevertheless, I have not had an issue with returning and/or exchanging anything---

Well, the dumb a**es that ru(i)n that company have done it again. In their music department, they have removed the 30 second samples. And they are not bringing that feature back! Yet those morons still think customers will pay for their song downloads? When I joined a chat to point out how incredibly stupid this was, they basically told me to f*** off. Lord, the village idiots running that company now must be the stupidist f'n people on God's green earth !!! I swear, they must be trying to sabotoge their own company.

Every time I order from Amazon, I try to stay away from Prime but I am always hit with it and have to cancel. Each time they stick you with it in order to bill you every month whether you want it or not. Therefore, I will no longer do any business with Amazon.
