To who ever,

I booked a hotel in Colorado using Hotwire, from the 27th-31st of July. After receiving news my grandfather passed, I called requesting a refund/cancellation and book another hotel in TX to make the funeral. I was emailed by Hotwire requesting documents for processing a refund. 1st time I faxed the documents was Aug. 6th 2015. I was told to send them again, but this time along with my birth certificate. That was on Aug. 28th..

It's September 10th, and I get same answer everytime I call and still no refund. My gradfather's funeral was August 1st 2015. He die of cancer.

Please help.

I just want everyone to be aware of this site, because I used it and they booked a hotel that was different than what I wanted. When I got to the hotel there was no reservation made, so I called back and they said sorry and booked me the room, but I asked them if I was going to get charged for the other room that was booked they assured me I wouldn't. However, I was charged twice. I talked to my bank and they told me I was charged twice and gave me the number to hotwire so I contacted them. They treated me horribly such as telling different information and hanging up on me 3x it has been atotal of 2.5 hrs I have wasted of my work time. I have requested to talk to a supervisor I was put on hold to talk to one waited 24mins and then they hung up on me again.. I am so disappointed in your customer service and feel that you do not care about assisting your customers. I am currently waiting again for a repersentative and it has been 10 mins again. I am not sure what else to do except keep calling back and mind you this was your companies mistake and it costing me alot. I am going to report you to the better business and I am going to scream from the hill tops not to use your service and I also will never use this service again. By the way I am still waiting and now its been 15 mins on top of the other 2.5 hours I have tried to get this resolved.

I have called back was talking for a second explaining again what is going on and I was hung up on a 6th time please explain how this is good business and I did not recieve one phone call back from a supervisor or a repersentative......

I reserved/paid for a rental on 4/28/15 for a full-sized SUV (Chevy Tahoe or similar) from Miami Airport (Hotwire itinerary:4663731505) for 5/20/15. On 5/20 went to airport to p/u vehicle and was told that they (Enterprise) could not rent to me without a boarding pass and that I should request a refund from Hotwire. I immediately called Hotwire and explained what was told to me---the agent called Enterprise to confirm what I was told. She offered me a refund and I told her I'm looking for a refund I need the car for me family trip the next day. I had to call on 4 different occasions to try and get some type of resolution-being either hung up on and/or disconnected- the 4th agent located me a car in near by Ft Lauderdale, but I had to pay $63.17 more. I tried to explain that I pre-paid for the car and I should not be required to pay.- No where on my contract or on your web-site at the time on renting was there any BOARDING PASS REQIUREMENT to rent from Enterprise. I did not choose Enterprise-They were assigned by the booking system- I'm requesting at minimum the $63.17 I paid since I needed a car for my trip. This nightmare most ruined my trip to family graduation and hopefully you can improve on customer service. I use Hotwire often, but this experience has me wary of never using the service again.

I have been dealing for over a month with an issue. The issue is about a blind reservation I made where I deal directly with a Hotwire agent who assured me several times and without doubt the location had free parking and was within a certain geographical area. After committing I discovered neither true, Since, then- I have been promised after several phone calls and several emails and sever faxes and several chats with managers...a compensation check. so far...well I'm writing this note because i have so much time...on hold for the 5th time this month - to write it. The agents are very polite and caring, but ineffective and lacking authority to resolve my issue.

My reservation was made incorrectly by the hotwire agent I spoke with for a car rental.I have called several times to get this corrected. They keep telling me that they will listen to the recorded call & if the agent made the mistake I would be accommodated I have NOT received a call yet& I keep calling & getting the run around my trip is in10 days

I can not get help with a refund for a flight. Hotwire lost my reservation and never sent me an itinerary.

Their email address on my booking confirmation is invalid. Email could not be delivered. The customer rep on the phone was absolutely clueless. (and very difficult to understand). I've been using them for years,but this is the first time I've needed support. Don't think I will be using them again.Plenty of other travel sites to use.

The internet goes out at night when I do homework. I'm a college student and I NEED the internet to be working and hotwire fails to meet those needs. It's extremely frustrating and I can't even go to a neighbors house because this entire buildings has hotwire. The number on their website has call fail all the time as well.

This was one of the worst experiences i have ever had in all the years of booking through hotwire.com by the elevator and the ice machine. I feel that this room was a total reject and we didn't get the service that we paid for.

No satisfaction from customer support or Manager. Hotel overrated. The Sunset Inn in Moore ,OK should not be a 2 star rated Hotel. Having stayed there, it is filthy, unidentified bugs on both carpet and walls and fist holes punched thru the bathroom door. The police were raiding it the night we attempted to stay. It did not come up as a 2 star on your list of Hotels for that price in that location of Oklahoma City South. A call was made within 5 minutes of the booking. The motel does not even have reservation yet in their bookings. I want out of this reservation!!! Please help me

I forgot to add to my survey of being at the king oscar hotel in centralia washington on March 21st, 2014. I said don't go. Two more reasons to add. The heater unit blew right at you with no adjustment and very complicated to make changes. Pillows were huge and just chunks of foam cut up, extremely uncomfortable. The food service area is very small so if anyone is in there then there is no access to the food. The place should not be on your list!!!

Having seen fair pricing went for a car rental, but ultimately had to pay extra sum without any clarification. I've not had any confusion no customer service can be worse than this. This is nothing but waste of your hard earned cash and precious time. On Hotwire site they show unreal arranging offers to have you in their payment pipe. I would rather suggest going for At least I was in no way turned down by that one!

I am through with Hot wire also. Customer service is NO HELP at all. Pending charges that were deleted by my bank to cause my account to go into the red. They were rude also.

Hot Wire booked me at a Quality Inn and the room was Filthy and full of Cockroaches and I have been trying to contact HOT WIRE by Mail and they do not list a valid address so I can send pictures of the room and the filth. also the customer service is rude and they hang up on you so if you have a complaint forget it use any other service besides Hot Wire.

I will never use hotwire again for a car rental. The first time I used Hotwire, I had a wonderful experience. The 2nd time, this past week, for a car rental from Hertz, it was terrible. Even though the car was prepaid, Hertz did not have the type of car I had reserved at Ft Lauderdale Airport. My family,a party of 5 including a 97 yr old mother-in-law, waited for over an hr.for a full size car. After an hr. I had to take whatever they had. Hertz customer service was terrible. Told that I could exchange it at a local Hertz location.Not so. Called different local Hertz locations daily, for over 4- days, explained my problem,left name & no, nobody called me back. Saddled with a car that I did not want for 9 days. Hotwire does not disclose the name of the car rental until you have already paid for it, and the sale is final.Beware of Hertz.

The worst ever!!! I will never use hotwire again!!! They take your money and dont give it back!!! Then they refer you to a machine and dont get a call back!!!!! Hotwire is the worst booking site ever!!!!

There customer service is HORRIBLE!!! You can not understand them and when you do as they ask, they drop you call and if that does not happen, they tell you to call back in 6 HOURS!

i love hotwire i have been travelling the whole year and hotwire provides my hotel on my business trips. i am always satisfied with the rates and service they provide. this is my opinion. i have never experience what other is complaining about.

Use Priceline instead. Terrible customer service and hotels are more costly than other bargain sites. I am extremely unhappy with hotwire. Their customer service is the worst and they use bait and switch tactics.

THis service sucks. if you book, then you never know where your staying and they put you where they want to put you. Its blind you cant even change your reservation to a closer hotel!! refused to let me speak to supervisor!

So, here I am here on vacation. Decided that I was going to stay at a hotel for last three days instead with my family. I called because I didn't have access to use my computer. So I tell the lady all the info and she tries to get me a hotel room. It doesn't work. She said the card payment didn't go thru and she tried three more time. I told her never mind but thinks for trying. So I get up in the morning to check my checking account and I see that I have 4 pending charges from hotwire. Over a 1000.00 dollars!!!! So, I call them and they told me that I had to contact the fraud department. Every time you call them it goes straight to the answering machine. So I left a message three days straight and no call. You call customer service and they say that they cant help. So here I am stuck. Don't know what to do. I just hope someone reads this and hopefully you will not use hotwire!!!!

I am writing to complain about Hotwire's practice of false advertising by sending out teaser rates that they won't honor. In this case, I was trying to rent a car for 4 days for an upcoming trip to Spokane, WA. After placing a "trip alert", I was sent a notice of a compact car rate of $24.02 per day. Within 20 minutes of receiving the Hotwire email I responded. The actual rate for the vehicle was $47.87 per day. I phoned Hotwire and the representative claimed that someone rec'd the $24.02 per day rate and did not find the teaser rate to be deceptive. This has happened to me 4 times since I placed this Spokane "trip alert", so I am convinced that this is a case of false advertising by Hotwire. I am disappointed with Hotwire's lack of respect for their customers.
