please can you tell me why a new hoover being an animal dyson will not run smooth over our carpet it takes all my strength to push it

Very disappointed in Dyson this weekend. The Dyson vacuum I currently have would not glide over our newly laid Beaulieu, Memento carpeting; rather it dug in and wouldn't move forward at all. Thinking the vacuum was broken we went over to our local Best Buy store and purchased a new Dyson Ball Multifloor vacuum. We brought it home, assembled it and again tried to vacuum the carpet. It dug in the carpet and would not glide same as the one I have that I thought was broken. We returned the newly purchased vacuum to the store and purchased a Hoover Windtunnel 3 Pro Pet that offered 3 height settings. It was 1/2 the cost of the Dyson and worked like a charm on our new carpet. Why does not one single Dyson model offer height settings beyond strictly "bare floors" or "carpet"? I can't be the only consumer buying this popular carpeting and not being able to use a Dyson vacuum on it. Sorry to say, no more Dyson's for me until the company recognizes the need for multiple height settings to accommodate all carpet types.

Dear Dyson We are extremely unhappy and disappointed
with our Dyson cordless vacuum .We were totally unaware that it on had a 15min. run time and a 3 1/2 he charge time.We would like to return it for a complete refund as soon as possible

my reference number i contacted you last week with a problem with my wonderful dyson animal,i was advised that a new charger was required,it arrived this morning.upon fitting the sam problem was evident,i rang again this morning and spoke to a very helpfull sam who advised i put the new one back in after discharging the battery.that was half an hour ago and its still charging.i would like to thank all of the people who helped me in getting back to work.i wish i got the same quality of work from a machine and the great help i have recieved from dyson,cannot praise the company enough,thank you.
I have now had two Dyson vacuum cleaners if you were to combine both they wouldn't equal the suction and ease of use as my Kenmore whisper belt the Kenmore is outlasted no performed both vacuums that I bought from Dyson I'm a sick person I have a very debilitating illness and don't have the money to waste on products like this but I feel like I was sucked in to believing that Dyson had more suction this is not true I'm very dissatisfied with these products I don't know what to do about it but at this point I certainly wouldn't recommend and would actually scare people away from buying your product sorry about that but I do not enjoy being what I feel like ripped off I think a company that speaks in commercials like Dyson I should have some kind of policy to appease customers that are very unhappy with your product underline very please respond to this email as this will show me also how you feel about customers thank you
I have the newest dyson with the big ball its a piece of crap!!!! I hate it I would never recommend it to anyone. I paid over $600 for this it has no place to hold the attachments like my last one it is way to heavy it I mean heavy I have multiple sclerosis and its a struggle I use to brag a but dyson being the best out there but when I bought this one 2 months ago it was the biggest waste of my $600 dollars. my first one I had was the best this one is the worst so sorry I bought it.

I was instructed to take my vacuum cleaner to the UPS store in Anderson,SC to be shipped to the service center in Doraville, GA. The sales rep at UPS said they did not have the request for from Dyson. This was a 23 mile drive one way for me. Please call me.

we contacted Dyson as our DC41 Animal comp was not working correctly. The customer service was SUPERB.Staff were polite and informative on the phone, hoover was picked up by a courier within 4 days and delivered back to my home 6 days later, my hoover was returned excellent working order and it had been serviced with a new brush head fitted too. All of this under my 5 year guarantee!! First class customer service.
We recently bought a cordless Dyson dc35 and we are very pleased with it the only trouble for me is because you have to keep the trigger on it got quite sore on my finger but I solved the problem by using a wine cork in stead of my finger and hubby has now made it a permanent feature with attaching a chain would it not be better if there was something to let it lock on the catch.
There is a particular dyson that went on sale starting today (1/4/15). I have been to 6 stores, no one has any in stock. How can it go on sale and be gone within hours? The dyson I am referring to is a cordless vacuum, model DC35. And, I can't get a rain check anywhere. Is this a misrepresentation of advertising! I sure would appreciate any help you can offer.
This phone number has never worked "we are sorry all circuits are busy please try your call again later" It is ridiculous to spend the amount of money a Dyson costs to have it not work and then not be able to reach customer support. Will never purchase another Dyson.
I took my Dyson to my nearest UPS store located in Office Depot and was told that I needed a shipping label from Dyson or else I would be charged for the shipment. Your shipping instructions did not include that info and because I live in Hawaii, I tried calling your office to verify that info so that I wouldn't have to take the fan back with me, but your office was closed. Also, they also informed me that they did not have a box big enough to pack it in and will also be extra for a box that fits.
Caution, Dyson double bills and does not refund easily. One of the worst customer services i have ever encountered. Never buy direct through the Dyson. They may double bill you and If there is any problem, you have to send it back and then chase your money for weeks with no answers where and when you will be paid. Just buy a shark instead.
In a time where the internet and customers around the world can read about a companies service, you would think they would be concerned about customer service. Not Dyson. After the 3rd call today, spanning 3 weeks and spending 45 minutes on today's call alone, i have no answers regarding them double billing me a month ago or where my money is or when it will be returned. We have contacted them numerous times and are still waiting for a refund.
I feel that this may be some sort of standard practice with Dyson. Double bill and hope no one notices on their statement. If they do, take their time sending the funds back. Free cash flow for them and a big debit on your account for you. Customer service was evasive and provided no answers. Each person we contacted said they were going to call us back and never did. No service at all. Just lies while they hold our money.
I have had nothing but crap service no answer my Dyson broke a year ago parts were never sent and now send it in still a month later no Vacume still, Hum if this is what they call service, I will never buy another Dyson product again, was looking at their cordless Vac sweeper but not now!
No reason for this garbage service at all !!!!!!!

I own a dyson heater approx. 3 weeks ago I responded to the recall by registering my information on the recall site. Since there are no UPS stores where I lived, the representative advise that she would contact a UPS and have them drop off a box to package the heater. I have contacted representative at the recall# at least 3 times within the last weeks and still not have not received a box to send my heater.
