I would like to give my personal and professional view of the Panera restaurant located at 16836 W. Devonshire St. Granada Hills, Ca.
I have been a patron of this particular Panera for quite some time now and will continue to be a patron for a long time to come. My wife and I have regular dates there, and I have professional chess players come and play professional rated games many days and nights every week.
I myself am a Senior Tournament Director for US Chess, which is the governing of chess in the USA. I'm also a professional Arbiter for FIDE the governing body of professional chess in every country of the world. Therefore I am very particular where I bring my players who are all professionally rated players themselves.
I, my students, players, parents, etc., are all very happy with this particular Panera. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is always conducive to playing the best chess possible. The staff from the General manager Joel, to Destiny, Esperanza, and many others are always courteous and friendly to us, and to myself. I know professional people when I see them, and the staff at Panera are exactly the kind of persons I choose to be around. They talk and treat us like family which we all find so rewarding. Most restaurants do what they do for tips or other second rate reasons. The staff at Panera simply do it because that's what they are inside. Integrity, honesty, and sincere friendliness goes a long way in keeping customers. If you knew me and how I am you would realize the truth of my statements.
