I bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator from Sears on November 21, 2018. One morning we wake up the refrigerator isn't working. The bottom freezer is completely thawed, ice maker not working, etc. So we had to immediately throw everything away and clean the fridge out. I called Sears Repair they couldn't make it out to check it until a couple of days later. I scheduled the earliest appointment they had. When the repair arrives the fridge is working. Because the fridge is working the Tech says he can't check anything because the fridge is working. He says call us again if you need us. I said, okay thanks. This was on 1/5/2019. Then, on the morning of 1/20/2019 which is a Sunday we get up REFRIGERATOR is not working again. I called Sears again to schedule a repair. They tell me the earliest appointment available is 1/22/2019. I wasn't very happy , I said fine I will take it. On the day of 1/22/2019 when the Tech arrives the Fridge is working again. So, nothing can be done by the Tech again. I call Sears to discuss this issue with them and they tell nothing can be done. I will just have to schedule a Repair Service to come and check it. Also they tell the Lady tells me there isn't anything they can do about all of my FOOD I'VE LOST!!! So the next day, which is a Monday morning, my daughter calls me at work and tells me the FRIDGE IS OUT AGAIN!! So I called Sears AGAIN for the THIRD TIME and of course they schedule an appointment for 1/25/2019. So this time when the Tech gets to my house he is finally able to check the Fridge and he tells me it;s the COMPUTER BOARD. He said he would have to order the part which would take 3-4 days but, he wouldn't be able to install it until FEBRUARY 4TH. I simply thought this situation would have been handled differently. This a Brand New Refrigerator I've had only 2 months with this kind of trouble and this is the kind of customer service I received. No Compensation, I've lost over $300.00 in food, having to ice because we don't have ice maker because my brand new fridge is working, and I can't use my Refrigerator that I'm paying over $2500.00 for. There is SOMETHING VERY WRONG HERE!!! Oh, I'm sorry, I was compensated 25,000 Sears points($20.00) I can't replace my food with this!!
