I bought a new HP Envy from a local box store. It malfunctioned 3 weeks and 2 days after I had it, 2 days longer than the local store would take it back. I had to send it to HP to get the wifi connection fixed. After they had my pc for 6 weeks, they let me know that it had arrived damaged, and required $500 to fix what should have been under warranty. The pc was NOT damaged when I sent it in. Either FedEx or some one there damaged the screen. They refuse to fix the initial problem concerning wifi without fixing the screen, without my paying the $500. I had a supervisor on the line 2 days ago, who after hearing the entire story, said that I didn't have to pay for the repair and passed me to another person. When I started talking to the other person, they claimed the first person never told me that I wouldn't have to pay for the repair. Absolutely criminal behavior. I will NEVER buy another HP product again. I'll be an anti-HP person for the rest of my life.
