The worst customer service ever! I have a new delivery person on my route, who was leaving packages at the front door for one week without even ringing the door bell (I'm working from home whole day), despite a big notice I have next to it, asking not to leave any packages at the door. I already had a thief in the past, so after informing UPS about it, I was promised that packages won't ever be left at the front door.
I finally reported her on Monday (Dec.7th) , so on Tuesday she already arrived with an attitude and when asked why she was leaving the packages after being instructed not to do so, she started screaming at me saying that I don't have any common sense and since there was no signature required, she is allowed to leave packages anywhere she wants to. After she already handled the packages to me, she started demanding them back and drove off. I immediately called the UPS 800 number who contacted the local UPS office and in the evening someone called me back asking if I want the packages. What kind of question is that? Of course I want them if I ordered them. We discussed that all 4 packages will be redelivered to me the next day. I was waiting whole day and when nothing arrived till 5pm, I started checking on tracking numbers and realized that they were scanned as refused and sent back to the sender. I never refused the packages! Why the supervisor told me they will be redelivered and how come that spiteful racist driver was allowed to make her own decision, scan them as refused and immediately send them back?! After spending hours on the phone and talking to several incompetent supervisors who have no clue what each of them is doing or saying, I got no satisfaction and was told that they cannot stop packages that were already sent back. I purchased items during a promotional period and when those shipments get back, they won't be reshipped, I probably get a refund, causing me loss of money for not being able to have the items purchased at a discounted price. During the last phone conversation, the 4th supervisor I talked to told me, that from now on none of the packages will be delivered to my address. I can pick them up at UPS facility, which is very far away from where I live. I own an online business and mail and receive a lot of shipments, so UPS will be loosing a big chunk of the business.
I was treated very badly by the driver who had no right to scram at me when she was caught of not doing her job right, I was ignored by people I talked to on the phone and I'm not going to leave it like that. I'm filing an official corporate complaint and another complaint with BBB. I'll also post on gripevine.com
