Recently I entered Coad Toyota I had looked at a Rave 4 and loved the dark interior I believed to be redwood. But the vehicle was too small . So we decided the 4 runner limited would be better I loved Natical Blue but was told by Steve Nunnery that thi vehicle only was available in black , silver and tan. Only after the purchase finding out this is not true I ran into a person who had exactly what I had asked our salesman about. So on Friday the 12 th my husband took a tutorial on the vehicle from Josh Puckett on how things worked . Josh was slow on returning our phone call as well to him and I had to email our salesman to get Josh to respond. I told my husband to talk to Steve Nunnery and ask why he hadn't told us that we could have gotten the redwood interior. He said yes he failed to tell us but thought we were happy. We settled due to liking the exterior color and felt if it doesn't come with the redwood was okay since we wanted a bigger vehicle. He said he would have his manager call us Shane Morris was his name he did call us on Saturday but I was surprised by his lack of concern he mentioned that we should have checked the Internet and we would have known that the redwood interior was available??? I suppose that I should have but at the same time I would expect the salesman would be completely educated on his products . I was told he would work on getting this resolved and would call us on Monday but still have not received a call. I feel that he is not concerned with my dissatisfaction isn't as important as the sale . And I worry I have made a 44,000 + mistake . I'm also worried future sevice will mirror my current experience . Service after the sale definitely worries me.

I drive a 2014 Toyota Prius and it needed a navigation update. I bought it in November 2014 and at my first service they didn't have one. I tried in the fall of 2015 and they didn't have one but they wanted me to pay to look up what I needed. I called today and customer service said it came out in November 2015, but said I had to pay for it. Called local dealer and it will be approx. 169.00 dollars for something I tried to get a month after I bought the car. I have been a good Toyota customer. I own a 2008 Prius and the 2014 and this is what happens when people buy your product

On January 7th I purchased. Toyota Tacoma Limited from Walket Toyota in Alexandria, La. To my dismay there is no height seat adjustment and I am fearful of having an accident as I am only 5 foot 4 inches and I am having to crane my neck to see over the hood! I desperately need a truck seat for safety purposes! Does Toyota make one and can you send it to me? My phone

Thanks, Hansford Shannon

The screen on my 2008 Toyota stopped working as far as all the touch functions go. I now have limited control over the heating and cooling by using the controls on the steering wheel. The center display lights up but will not respond to touch. I have to use the steering wheel controls for the radio but can only change stations using the scan function. I cannot change the CD player either.

The big problem is the heater and air conditioner which is stuck on defrost mode which will go on and off using the steering wheel. So I can maintain the temperature from hot to cold but cannot make any air flow adjustment. It will just go from defrost to floor. I was quoted $7,000 to have the touch screen sent out to the manufacturer and fixed and another $1,000 for labor, $8,000 in all.

I have read that this is caused by a poorly soldered internal connection. I believe Toyota ought to address this problem with a recall. This car doesnt live up to the usual Toyota reliability. I will not buy one again.

Toyota used to be good but not anymore. I bought four of them during the past 18 years.
The last one was 2014 Corolla that was bad from first 2000 miles.Check engine light was
on till 25000 miles they change the engine but they said they repaired it. The navigation went bad after the warranty was expired. This car was defected from day first. I never recommend anybody buy a toyota.

Defective factory paint on my 07 Tacoma. The whole roof rotting away. No problem across the rest of the vehicle. Up to $4K to fix. Was requesting at least shared culpability on their part and partial refund on a repair.
Read the research on the web, but tried anyway.
Alas... Total denial... No offer to assistance or even initiate review to assess legitimacy of the claim. It's what I was led to expected from others experiences.

Their success in failure is note worthy.

I had a "appointment " at 2:00 pm to have a oil change (last free one with warranty ), . I needed to be at the Emergency Veterinarian by 3:00 pm to pick up my Doberman Sapphire because he just had major emergency .
There were 2 lines of cars waiting . Toyota rep told me to "wait" in line. It would take at least 1 1/2 hrs. to possibly complete. An Oil change takes about 1/2 hr. Then what exactly the reason I had an "appointment , meaning I come first" at 2:00 pm. Not Ok and not working for me !!

Hi.I purchased a Toyota camry from lr Toyota on colonel Glenn. I was 3 months behind on my car payment. The guy I talk to on the 13th day of November 2015 told me to pay $784 to stop the repossesion. I told him ill c wat I can do. So I got the money up Sat the 14th, went to walmart and paid $700....that's all I had at the time. I agreed to pay another 400 friday the 20th of nov. Well anyway, the lady at the reimbursement office told me that I had to pay the whole cash price of the car b4 I can get it back. Now wen I brought the car I was at Toyota twice a week putting air in my tire. The windshield had a crack in it n it still does. If u wud check ur files I fell behind on my payments bcuz I just recently got my tags. U all shows no gratitude for ur customers. You all have put me in a hardship n a transportation bind as far as getting back n forth to my doctor appts. I contacted u all and stated I was getting my tags n that I may be a few months behind, (check ur recordings). I would like for someone to get back with me ASAP reguarding this matter. There is no way I cud pay off $22,000 n my income is $764 a month. I been asking my daughter Michelle for help. If u need me call me at 5019127621 I have authorized my daughter to handle this matter. If I need to c an attorney please let me know because this is pathetic. Repo someone car for $84 dollars....Really... Wat would u do if someone did this to ur disabled mother or grandmother. I thought Toyota wud b a little more caring about they're customers. I know you all commercials are not a lie. I wud like to continue to be a loyal customer. Please help me resolve this matter a little better.thanks for ur time....if unable to reach me please email me at my daughter email address ..thanks again

I had my 2006 Toyota scenna van at Bob Tyler for a motor problem for 3 months --finally got it back, ran it for 1 week, filled it with gas and 2 days later the same problem came back. I have always had my work done with Toyota. What is your suggestion.

I'm in a situation with Yakima Washington's Toyota/Scion dealer. I took my car in for a simple service and the service tech crashed my car..I wish sooooooo bad!!!! That I could go back in time because I now hate Toyota!!!!!

I took my 2008 Prius into Vallejo, CA Toyota Service on 10/20/15 to check the headlights as one stopped working and the other would go off intermittently. It happend that I just needed to replace the headlight lightbulbs.

Well, this wasn't "just" a simple or cheap undertaking. Not only was I told that each bulb cost $150 each, but I was also told that there were no other options for replacing the bulbs with cheaper onees. Ended up costing me $543.38... To replace 2 lightbulbs! Adding insult to injury, they didn't even give my car the 'Curtesy Wash' that they asked me if I wanted when I brought the car in (which I said "Yes"). Needless to say, I wasn't very happy with this experience.

Called in inquiring about the issue of the recall on the leaf springs on my Tacoma and the representative was not very pleasant nor very helpful.

Direct quote form my post:
"We stopped by this dealership to purchase a new car after we heard that it was a good dealership. The salesman that my younger sister told me about was no longer there so we used the one that came out to our vehicle as soon as we arrived (I will not use a name). We test drove several cars, but my wife loved the new 2014.5 Camry (this was in December 2014). After a long day at the dealership it was easy for us to do the paperwork because we had already gotten the approval from our bank. We wrote them a check and we were done. My sister got a package with her car (2014 Camry she purchased about 5 months before us) that had a cleaner and wipes that we didn't. SO, we made mention of it and said we would have to order one that we would have to purchase. We said we would think about it. We walked out to our car and the salesman we dealt with said he would get us one that wouldn't cost us. He would call.... we received no call at all. Not even to this day.

To the point of complaint....

We had no problem at first- my wife loved it. Then, the radio stopped working with our android's. We took it up to the dealership for over 2 weeks, for a while it was daily. They couldn't fix it because they said it was and android not an Iphone. We told them it worked fine when we bought it. Even showed them the pictures we made showing it working then not working. They changed out the radio with the exact same kind & it didn't work. We wrote it off because my wife loved the rest of the car and she said she would just live with it. I was upset, but it was her car not mine. After the WEEKS of going back and forth, I was reading online about the car in the booklet you usually get dealing the specifics of the car. There it was! An app that you can use that links your phone t the stereo! They told us nothing of it when we bought it. It was in the Toyota booklet!!! Hilarious!!! I installed the app and VOILA it worked great.

We wrote it off & didn't want to deal with them any longer. My wife made mention that she was going to get the free car wash though....

YES there's more. I went to adjust the drivers side headrest so I could wipe the seat top and was just overwhelmed!! The headrest was rusted!!! I couldn't believe it. I made several attempts with emails and have heard nothing. I am DONE trying to get answers or fixes. We are writing it off because it's bought and yes paid off. The car has less that 7500 miles and I really don't like it now because it's an Albertville Toyota. I will never purchase from them again. IF I buy another Toyota... IF.... it will not be from them. Be really careful with the car wash there too. We had a GREAT scratch on our trunk after the last washing---- won't be back.

PLEASE be cautious with them if you DO decide to buy a Toyota there. In my opinion, the drive to another city might be better. MIGHT!"

IS this going to continue at Sand Mountain Toyota???? If you want pictures just let me know......

I have just spent 11 minutes trying to get an email address for someone in Customer Service to discuss a complaint with my Toyota dealer in Rockwall, TX using the number. At the conclusion of this time I was told they could not give out any phone number or email address to Customer Service. Seems a bit odd not to be able to communicate with a department that is set up for customer communications.

I purchased a 2012 Toyota in 2012 - spent over $40,000. Worst vehicle experience of my life. Defective paint on the car which took forever to get right; if it is even right. Only once, since 2012, have I not had to return or call the service department because of something they forgot to do once I got my vehicle back. In addition, the set up is odd - you have to drop off and pick up your car in the service area yet walk to the sales area to pay then back to the service area to WAIT for your vehicle. Why? That is quite a long distance if you are elderly and is not very convenient for people picking up their cars on work breaks. Why can't the service person finish my transaction like in most dealerships and then make sure i get my vehicle right away? Part of the sales pitch was getting my car washed for free when i brought it in for service. Almost every time I take it in for service the car wash is 'broken'. If that is the case, they should provide us with free coupons for the nearest car wash. I just picked up my car, waited for 15 minutes for my vehicle, after paying mind you so add another 10 minutes waiting in line to get someone to help me. AFter 10 minutes, I finally asked where my car was and they informed me the car wash was down. So it was a complete waste of my time (yet the vehicle brought up before mine was washed). I actually took about time after I returned to the office to figure out how much a new Honda Pilot would cost. Very disappointed in Toyota service. Peoria Toyota, Peoria, IL

I bought a new Toyota Prius V on August 21, 2015 a week later I got an email that Toyota offered a 4500 dollar rebate on that car. I called Lithia Toyota of Redding to get the additional $500 dollar rebate added. The dealership said they would if the rebate came from them, but it was from Toyota. I feel I am entitled to addition all monies since it was only a weeks time. I would like it taken off my contract since I am financing through Toyota.Toyota Financial Services,

I want to bring to your attention the poor practices in use at right toyota, flw, scottsdale and how they take advantage of your customers, putting a bad image on the brand.

lease # 00012362 contracted on September, 16th 2009
conditions under which lease was contracted:

I was new in the country with no knowledge of the lease practices and also in a divorce process
I was relying on sales professionals to explain about it. I was told that the gap insurance is mandatory and charged $695.00
They also mentioned all the fees that come with the deals are mandatory and that there is nothing they can do about that, I have to pay
About the down payment: the higher it is, the lesser my monthly payments and had me put $15.000,00 down.
rental fees $6772.97

So I contracted a 5 years lease when the norm, as for what I know now, is 3 years.
They clearly took advantage of the situation
They called after 3 years for a trade in with sienna # 24473 contracted on August, 4th 2012. I asked if everything from the former contract would be differed to the new one and was told yes.

Each time, I was told that the vehicle would be mine at the end of the contract at no other expense since it was a lease purchase, like a loan, which was making sense with the amount of money I had already put down ($15,000.00)
After being told all this, you can only imagine my surprise when Toyota financial services call me about the lease expiring, ask me what I want to do, 1st surprise since obviously I keep the car that I just paid for, they then tell me, this will be $19.095.00.

At that point, I had already spent $51,869.48, and I was told I owned nothing.

As I went to Right Toyota to get explanations about those 2 contracts, I was told that my credit score was probably very poor considering the rent charges for the 1st contract ($6,772.97), vs those from the second ($525.25) which were telling the financial manager, Kent Thompson that at that time it was probably around 720.
After contacting Toyota financial services, it appeared that my credit score on September, 16th 2009, day it was pulled out by their services when I contracted the 1 st contract, was 720. I was also a tier 1, when it was mentioned by Right Toyota that I was a Tier 7 and they put me up to tier 5 to do me a "favor" so that I can get the car.

I contacted Zach Price, an attorney specialized in that matter about the first lease, the only reason why we do not sue toyota is the time elapsed since the first deal, there is now prescription. It is clear that they took advantage of the situation.

I feel rubbed and the practices of Right Toyota are clearly not right.
It is understandable that a company wants to be profitable, but there is a clear difference between trying to do business and taking advantage of your customers.
In July 2015, Honda was sentenced to pay $ 25 Million for discrimination practices towards minorities, as of "the Arizona Republic", Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

A this date, my lease has come to its term and I need to make a decision as for what I want to do with the car.

My only choices are either get a new car at Toyota or keep the one that I have.

I am contacting you today to get that outrageous down payment deducted from the residual value of the car I thought was mine.

I hope you understand the situation and appreciate your time,

Had recent unpleasant experience with TOYOTA we were told we needed an ALTERNATOR which would take an hour or so to replace. Mike m said it took 2.3 hrs labor but only Chad us 1.7 hrs. Because of that he didn't give us military discount. We told him it wasn't our fault mechanism was slow. Took too many breaks or whatever I feel we r still due a 58.00 refund or voucher for that amount hope u will be fair I tried contact. For 2 days no response Dudley Bryan or Carolyn thank you

I'm not sure what to do and I don't like to complain. Yesterday I had my first oil change on my 2014.5 Camry at the dealership in Coos Bay, OR. That was at 10 am. After that I stopped at a couple stores to do some grocery shopping before I made the 20 mile trip back home. When I got home I stopped at the end of the driveway to get the mail when I noticed a steady stream of drops coming up the road and ending in a small puddle under my car. I pulled into our garage which is, guessing, about 80 ft to the garage from the road. I quickly called Toyota while unloading groceries. They told me to bring it back in, and asked if I was sure it was oil. They are and always have been VERY accommodating, that's why I hate to complain. They found that the gasket failed. Truthfully, I can't help but think it wasn't on tight or something human that caused the failure. Mistakes do happen. I asked how I would get the oil off our driveway as it's been recently sealed and they told me detergent with bleach will take it right off. After spending over an hour scrubbing the driveway, it still shows. I haven't even tackled the garage. I also have a concern about driving the car so many miles and over several hours that the oil shortage could have long term damage on the engine. I hope I'm wrong and worrying needlessly. I just want to voice my complaint about my driveway and concerns about my engine. Once again, I can't say enough kind things about the Toyota dealership in Coos Bay. They go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Accidents do happen.

Thanks for listening,

Carol Lintner

As a first time car buyer and u knowledgeable about cars I was taken advantage of, I was provided with misleading information. After asking about my car payments and insurance payment repeatedly and given one answer when my bill came it was completely different from what they said .....my car speeds up on its own and idles when I want it to speed up...when into to them several times and they said they test drove it and it was ok....my last visit to them was on the 07/28/15 and got in an accident on 07/29/15, I could have died along with my friend ..thank god I'm still alive.no one has contacted me after making several phone calls to the dealership. It's unacceptable, i think they forget we are the people that keeps them a float..Route 46, littlefalls.

I have been trying to get the dash replaced because of the dash recall for the past three months. I am continually been told that the parts are not in. Why is this? Is it because the replacement is at the dealer cost. I am afraid to drive my car because fear of being blinded by the glaring sunlight. Can someone help me.

Just left your Toyota showroom after speaking t a very knowledgeable, considerate gentleman. He answered all of my questions took me thru the dealership lot, let me drive a Camry and all before he even had his lunch. But I got ths letter from Matt Bukowski General Sales Manager of Jerry's Toyota on Belair Rd in Balto. Md that said he would give me $4,622.00 trade value on a 2015 Camry. NOT TRUE!!! After this nice kind extremely patient young man Kevin Perkins went to him to see my 2005 Camry LE, he came back with a value of $800.00 trade in on a new 2015 Camry. REALLY??? I am not happy about that at all since Kelley blue bok says 4,129. Now maybe my car is not worth that figure in trade but don't insult me with $800.00,I'm a return customer. Nancy M. Menefee
