I have subscribed to Readers Digest Condensed Books for over 20 years. I have loved them. My last book however contained four books that I had already read. It would appear that you are reprinted old books. This is not fair to those of us who are old and loyal customers.

Please advise that this will not happen again. I am very disappointed.

I sent a second email after not getting an answer from the first. The second included very poor grammar. I am amazed that Readers Digest would contract with a company that communicated so poorly.

Called the customer service department today and found them very pleasant and helpful.
I would give a 5 star review

I received a subscription to a large print edition of Readers Digest last year for Christmas. I didn't actually get my first magazine until February. However, I got a renewal in my magazine yesterday telling me this was my last issue. I star

ted trying to reach someone at RD this morning. There was no phone number in the letter. I have found a couple of numbers on your web sight, but when I dial them both times I got a recording saying the number could not be directly dialed. When this subscription was played for it was for one year---12 months. I have received 8 issues. It would really be nice if someone could at least pay me the courtesy of giving a valid phone number so I can get this addressed.

Thank you,

Louise Edwards

I have been trying to reach Customer Service to advise them that my credit card was "swallowed" by an ATM - I therefore cannot pay may account. I require an English speaking and understanding member of staff to note this. Payment will be made when I obtain the new card.

I think it's outrageous for RD to force me to accept a debit card in order to be able to received my refund. Is this ploy legal? It's certainly a form of extortion.

Whatever makes you think a refund CARD is easier than a check? I wasted valuable time, first activating the card, and then trying to use it. The cashiers at both Walmart and K-Mart did not process it properly and after numerous tries, the card was charged 75 cents for each try. I lost $4.50 of it's value for nothing. The 'simple process' sucks.

For what ever reason our last two (2) issues have come in regular print (small), and we have always received the LARGE PRINT. Can't read the small print. Can you please take care of this, including sending the last two (2) issues.

My Mom passed in April of this year, I am the Executrix, and part of that responsibility is cancelling subscriptions and requesting refunds. I was SO misled by customer support, that putting the refund on a card rather than sending a check was much more convenient for me. Balderdash! I received the card today - for a FIVE dollar refund, and here's what I had to do to get the FIVE dollars into the estate: Go on the bank issuers website, create an account complete with password and three security questions, try to figure out how to get this FIVE dollars to the estate account; had to call banks customer service which said I could take the card to any bank to get the refund but it would cost me a FIVE dollar cash advance fee, take it to any store and make a purchase - illegal for executrix to spend money on themselves from estate, or go on newly created account and request a transfer for only a 50 cent fee and I would receive it in 3 - 5 business days. EASIER for ME? Took me 45 minutes to figure out how to get this money into the estate account AND cost the estate a fee. I will tell anyone who wants to listen to me what Readers Digest customer support put me through today, and I will NEVER do business with the magazine again!

Makes me so upset and sad.

I paid for a gift subscription for my sister-in-law back in November and now I am getting additional renewal notices!! Knock it off....we get enough junk mail. I am also disappointed that the RD is only about half as thick as it used to be and has way too much advertising...that's why I've dropped all my subscriptions...I hate paying for 75% ads....

I am getting renewal letters already, when I renewed in July ( it's Nov. now) Also, you want $24.95, and I could renew online for only $15.00. I really resent be harassed so often about renewing and for varying prices too.

For 6 months I've been pestered by numerous phone calls from a Mr. James Peterson in Jamaica,7 among others. He states that he is from Reader's Digest and that I have won prize #1 of 3 prizes at Readers Digest. I would like to speak to someone at Readers Digest about this. Does Readers Digest even have such a contest.

I have received a postal warning me that I must call to cancel a subscription. I have called twice on this newly printed information. I have don twice.. Twice a voice says the site is not functional. use the Internet. What if I didn't have access to the Internet? What kind of a spurious operation is this??

Now I have to puzzle out a visual test that is commonly referred to as a psychological trick test...do you see white or black information? Disgusting.

I receive two copies, one addressed to me and one to my husband. I would like to combind them as we do not need to copies. How do I get ahold of someone to take care of that? LAM

I no longer want to subscribe to the Reader's digest. I keep getting Letters and a copy of Readers Digest wanting me to renew. In the May 2011 issue on page 67 there is an article entitled "Some words in the Bible." My objection is the article seems to take away the Virgin birth of Jesus, Without that Christianity means nothing. Gerald Runyon

I just received a phone call from Readers Digest requesting to speak to a family member who died three years ago. When I told the caller that the person had died, she simply hung-up the phone. Rude!! When I tried to return the call, all I received was a no-call recording.
