I had ordered Quickbooks 2012 as a result of contacting Tehnical Support and was told by the rep I would be invoiced by mail, but my checking account was charged $222.50, price of the product. This put me in a very CRITICAL position. In the meantime I returned the product approx. 10 days ago expecting a prompt refund which I have not received as of this date either by a credit to my checking account or in the form of a refund check. This has caused me much grief because of the way Intuit handled the original purchase in an extremely un-professional manner due to a misrepresentation as to the method of original payment. I expect a prompt, immediate resolution of this matter and an immediate refund of the full purchase price of $222.50. Thank you.

Sincrely,

this is the worst company that i have ever had to deal with. I have been trying to get a new validation number just to be told that they are closed for a company meeting. I think that it is very inconsiderate taking into considerationt hat Quickbooks said that they offer 24 hr service. To make matters worst I will probably loose my job because I cannot get into Quickbooks to do month end closing. What the hell is wrong with this company.

One of the ABSOLUTE worst service experience I have ever had!!!
I spoke with 4 people in the course of 45 minutes only to be put on hold when I asked to speak to someone in the USA- which after being on hold for almost 10 minutes I was disconnected.
I called back and spoke to yet ANOTHER person who AGAIN put me on hold only to come back and tell me that no one had any idea what my banking charge might possibly be.
I'll be calling my bank in the morning to block it regardless!
If you have an option DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR BANKING OR ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!

I called customer support and got an angry, argumentative woman that would not help me. After 20 minutes of trying to convince her to stop arguing with me and transfer me to someone who could answer my question, I eventually gave up, hung up, and called back.

On my second call I got paired with a knowledgeable employee that actually explained that I needed to use the desktop version instead of the online version (due to multiple currency importing issues with PayPal). He then passed me on to another very polite, knowledgeable person who assisted me with the final sale and migration from the Online to Desktop version.

First call: terrible experience. Second calls: great experience.

2 out of 3 ain't bad (I guess for some companies) - hence the 7/10 ratings.

QuickBooks Pro Online--Intuit Marketing Dept says it's "lightening fast," and most features are very similar to QB Pro on desktop. Not true!! Despite fast connection & cleared history, lots of screen refresh waiting time, entries are often lost when it times out waiting, reports and ability to customize greatly limited, very handicapped by comparison to desktop version. NOT happy with it, will switch to something else as soon as we finish year-end stuff.

When talking with customer service, they seem to know about deficiencies, always have an excuse and say it'll be out in an updated version "soon," although they describe soon as 12-24 months, at best.

Intuit used to be the best but seems to have rested on its laurels and is now mediocre at best, and their online version isn't even that good.

And their overseas support staff--one time got 4 women in a row all named "Mary,: who barely understood English and simply wanted to sell me more stuff, not fix problem.

Incredibly disappointed, can't wait to switch and never look back. $34/month for this?!?

Horrible, horrible customer service. Tried twice to get charges refunded from Quickbooks Payroll online. As stated many times, one department has no clue the other exists. I was able to get refunded from Quickbooks Online, great. Then comes Quickbooks Payroll Online (which I had NO idea I was even signing up for). They charged $31 a month for God knows what. I never accessed it nor entered a line of information on it. I called to get these charges refunded. Quickbooks Online says "I can't help you, they're a totally different company, here's the number, I can't even transfer you.". Seems odd... I call that number and wait for 20 minutes. I talk to a US person actually and she understand my problem and says she has to talk with her credit department since the card I intially used had just expired (They charged me in November and December. It was now February and my card had a 12/11 expiration date). I was promised a call back that day with their response. 2 days later they left a VM telling me they can't refund me because my card is expired. Really? Then why can Quickbooks Online? Odd. I call back. I get another US person and explain it's ridiculous that one part of your company can process the refund and another can't for service signed up for in the same form. I ask to speak to her supervisor. She says she'll speak to him. Wait 10 minutes. She comes back on and says she'll call back that day. Nothing. I call back. They hold to their guns and say "You can always try a chargeback from your credit card company.".

Long story short, don't use these jokers. They'll use your credit card for anything and everything then make refunding it all impossible.

I do not know how Intuit is still in business! Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Of course I can only call the Phillipines to gain access to customer support. I have made no less that 10 phone calls to try to resolve a payroll issue. I have been transferred around time and time again. Each time I am transferred, I have to re-explain my problem, only to be told that I do not have the correct department! Many times I have gotten agents who cannot understand me, or I cannot understand them. I'm not against outsourcing, but this is ridiculous. In addition, I have asked and searched for a number to call in the US and one doesn't seem to exist. Seriously thinking about exploring other accounting program options. Unbelievable.

I got a renewal email (two in 1 day). I tried to cancel online since the program was awful, unlike other Intuit products. No luck. I called and cancelled. The emails saying I would be automatically renewed continued. Two more phone calls. Nothing. Tried to submit something in writing. No online option and customer service rep told me they don't have emails. Gave me a billing email. Finally, after being on hold for 20 minutes, gave me a customer service email. I wrote (having received 7 emails in 6 days and trying to cancel them three times by phone). I was told I wrote to the wrong place, my email would be forwarded and to call the 800 number if I had a problem. I wrote back that I had and I want a place to write. Got an email back with no words and highlighting one sentence in her original. TERRIBLE customer service matches a terrible product, unfortunately.

I have been hours and hours trying to reach an american representative in the united states. Quick books enhanced payroll program calculated the wrong employee social security withholding from the employees but the 941 quarterly report has the correct numbers so the total numbers are not compatible. IRS will not like this. This needs to be corrected. I have called and called and called. I have been promised a return call that of course has never happened. The one time I did reach someone(Reno Nevada, US) she started to help then we were disconnected and she did not call back(as I am told they are supposed to). I kept trying with only promises that they(foreign countries - Phillipines, etc) would put in a request for a person to call to assist. I would receive a call in approx 3 hours from an american in the U.S. to help. Of couse the 3 hours has passed with promises from other agents to call. One even told me they were trying to call as we spoke but could not get through because he was talking to me. He had no intelligent response when he found out that we were not on the phone line they line they would call on. Apparently QUICK BOOKS NO LONGER CARES IF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE(IRS). I am so tired and exhausted from all of this. So much for promises of speaking with an american to fix this problem. I absolutely cannot believe this has happened and no one at quick books even cares.

Wow this is the worst customer service i have ever seen. The cant answer a question..they I have been on the phone for a basic question, 25 min so far...still waiting. Transferred 5 times so far. All they do is ask for my first and last name, fed id number and phone number...then i get transferred. Why do big business think its ok to send jobs oversees so expand profits but deliver the worst support ever.

Can't believe that we need to call the Phillipines to get someone that does not understand you, or you can understand. Been routed the wrong way twice, dropped once, and then, they say I called the wrong number.
Where is the USA based call center?

Absolutely the WORST customer service I have experienced since I have been in business for 30 years. I knew more than the 4 technical support staff that I spoke to. I could not understand anything the supervisor had said since he had a very heavy accent. I thought QB was California based company? The sales team was not much better. I was unfortunate to get 3 times in a row a French named Dorian who was yawning on the phone until I asked for the supervisor. Instead of saying hold on please, he was like why? WHY?!?! Because the customer service sucks! But he did not get it and did not get me the supervisor. He should be fired! Is there ANY number we can call where we will not reach an overseas company or the sales staff is willing to help. What happened to simple service?

QB should bring their Help Desk to the USA, instead of being helped from Asia all the time.
Give employment to our people, and try to improve your customer service, it is very poor indeed.

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with I have spent almost 10 man hours trying to resolve an issue and we are no closer to finding a solution to the problem.
If i had a dollar for every time one of their reps told me "please hold on for 2 minutes" i could retire.
Sadly we are stuck with this program but I would strongly recomend to any small bussiness out ther DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I just had a conversation with webex about access my companies books from a loacation other than my office managers computer. I was shocked to learn that I can only access this information through my managers computer and only when she is not also using it. He also explaind that if her computer was down with a virus for several days our company whould have no acess to our accounting, sales or inventory accounts.
Is this accurate? Why if I can do banking from anywhere in the world from any computer would you limit this program in accommodating the service needs of your clients? How can this be a considered a full service platform? Please confirm and help m,e make sense out of these limitation and restrictions. Yes I am I client. I am definitely fed up with QuickBooks! You cannot even get a representative in the States! NO customer service.

Do not use this product. Their support is impossible to use. No one speake english

They have just no idea about business needs. QuickBooks looks nice on the surface, but it does lack essential functionalities. Do NOT waste your time and money on it!

I will try to give it back. Let's see how that goes...

Their customers service is terrible.

They cannot help solve a problem with the payroll service I am paying them for. They have a bad solution. I like Quickbooks because it is easy to use, but if you have a problem you are left to your self to try and solve it.

How much $$$ does Intuit save by using service techs that we as Americans cannot understand. I am fed up with the dollar saving corporate world that could care less about servicing their clients. I can only imagine what my business would look like if I ran it in the same way Intuit runs theirs.
Thanks but no thanks for the support.

i cannot get through to you and i need help to register i only have 2 days left.

DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM! Their tech support personnel cannot understand nor speak English nor understand what it is you are trying to get the program to do. Even when they come into your computer they do not know what they are doing. I even called the office of the "president." I was promised that someone who is outsourced would call me. That part was true, unfortunately he was of NO help either. Totally unaware of what is expected of this program. We spent days entering information only to not be able to retrieve it. We see the file, but cannot open it. This program is a nightmare! If you get the payroll-that division was a good experience.

Loved my customer service man! Could not have been more pleased. He was very informative and solved all of my problems. I guess I got lucky :)

I had the exact same problem, and have been on the phone 4 separate times, and now on hold for the past 10 minutes so they can review everything! 3 times I've been told someone would call me back, and no return call. I am attempting to process my payroll forms but they tell me the subscription is inactive, yet I have my credit card statement that shows I've been billed 3 times! This company is a joke!
