Be careful with Land Rover; I bought my car, Land Rover Discovery Sport 2017. Its engine was broke when we drove only 23.000 miles, the dealer asked me to talk to Land Rover's Clients Relation, and when I called them, they answered me that it was not their responsibility, the car engine has destructive quality issues, and they disagreed with my customer right to send the machine to an expert inspection at the US Department of Transportation. Terrible car Land Rover quality and service. The engine quality and their service are clearly problems but they ask me to pay 60 % for the engine while they compensate me only 40 %
Got brand new 2017 Range Rover sport with less than 13K miles now and has been in the shop/dealer more than 4 times already with 'transmission fault' defect that disables the entire engine and wont start until computer resets itself which could be 20-40 minutes later. At age 43 with several cars under my belt, have never paid so much for a vehicle that is so unreliable. thoroughly disappointing experience with Land Rover.
Purchased a 2014 Range Rover Autobiography from Princeton Land Rover for over $150,000. I've had multiple problems in just a few months - the latest one being an issue where the gas tank randomly "trips" and you can't fill up your gas tank beyond 1/2 a tank. The service people told me it was a known issue and they are hoping Land Rover eventually finds a fix. Until then, more than 1/2 of the gas stations I go to apparently have the type of pump that can't fill up my car. Seems incredible to believe that I have to live with this problem and they simply shrugged their shoulders.
Thoroughly Disgusted By Jaguar Land Rover Of Chantilly. Come In For Engine Light And Parts Aren't Available For A Month. So To Suggest That I Drive This Vehicle For A Month With The Engine Light On Floors Me! Who Will Be Paying For The New Engine When It Blows Up! My Vehicle Is Less Than 6 Months Old And I Paid Cash!
Bought a 2008 LR3 with just over 27000 miles from a dealership in Edison, NJ. Haven't had anything but problems, the stereo, navigation system, now it has laid up in the shop for the past week with suspension issues the service department obviously can't figure out, best reply I can get is, "we will see what we can do." I have never dealt with a company with so little sense of urgency in anything they do! I'm trading/selling this heap as soon as it's fixed, realize I'm going to lose several thousand but i have to stop the bleeding and get something reliable. At 47 years old I've never had a vehicle that actually embarrassed me for mechanical issues, until now. Should have got the 4-Runner!
I totally agree.I bought 2008 range rover with 60, 000 miles from a dealer in des plaines and I have had it for 2 months and I have had nothing but problems.we bought the warrenty for $5000 and my husband takes the car to the dealer and they say well we charge for services and we can give you a small enterprise car that fits 2 people when I have 3 kids.horrible car and horrible service DO NOT BUY A RANGE ROVER OR ANY CAR THATS made by Land rover
Range Rovers suck. I should've listened to my friends when they said they have problems. I bought a 2009 HSE and it has so many issues. Customer service at land rover is non-existent. Ive had the car for 8 months, and have been trying to sell it for 2. WHY didn't I just get a BMW X5?
