I have posted on Craigslist for years and now y'all are charging small business and other people trying to earn a living that are barely getting by $5 pet post. We can not afford to pay that and now we're going out of business because of this. Thanks Craigslist. We will be homelessbecause of this. But I'm glad your pockets address getting fatter. How can y'all live with putting people or of business forcing them to live in the street cause you're charging so much pet ad. Its ridiculous.

Could you please direct me to those in charge of this website?
I am finding in Canada, a large amount of bigotry and racial stigma on landlords advertising rentals.
On their website they will clearly write ASIAN ONLY/ KOREAN WELCOME ONLY / ONLY EAST ASIAN APPLY.... etc.
It is more than just oh they understand me better'.
Even if not specified on Post, when I called to inquire and they are most pleased with my references and nearly accepting me, once they see my melanocyte pigment is lighter (labeling as white') I am suddenly denied (although abrupt, they confess that's the only reason), or a couple landlords expressed I need to pay 200.00 dollars extra because I would be different from anyone else.
This is NOT a few... this was pages of phone calls and posts in the Toronto region.
I am bringing this to your attention, not only because it is interfering with my safety in searching for safe rentals, but because it is also a criminal act.
I myself, was born with a genetic mutation that makes me appear white', however, I was born & raised Asian and so thankful and proud to be Canadian (at this time I will not express which specific). I feel more angered by this because I am Canadian.
I feel empathy and concern for other Canadians or visitors who are truly white' (or a European descendant, mixed/etc) will be so effected emotionally as well as legally by such events and posts.
Please do not allow this to be an accepted crime.

5 emails to your "Contacthelp" and technical support and not a single reply! Absolutely horrible service. This entire Phone verification system that you have is broken!! I have ads to place internationally and cannot place because of this crazy phone verification process. I put in my cell phone, you send me a code, and then it tells me the number cannot be verified!! What?!?!

Angelica Wilson then created false information regarding my interest in partners as well as drug use. I have contacted your site before regarding this situation as it is illegal defamation of character.i will be following up with local officials and have RUTH ANGELICA WILSON prosecuted this is been going on for far too long I've changed passwords emails cedra and still I'm getting these disgusting messages in return my contact phone number i again my name is Anthony verdinoo my email is Margaret Duffy 81 at gmail.com please contact me as soon as possible so we can resolve this situation thank you so much

This customer service department is a joke....they would not listen to me and answer my question....where on Craigslist can I view the resumes for the people who have applied to my job postings. This customer service representative kept talking about "issues that I was having with my emails"...I told them more that once that was not my problem. Next thing I knew, they were sending me a link where I had to pay to have a Technical Support person contact me. This is the worst excuse for customer service that I have EVER experienced. I have just paid for two job postings and now they cannot answer one simple question....incompetent and very unprofessional.

Twice now I have been contacted by people who have decided to purchase my listings and have been completely conned. They ask me to delete my post and will pay me via PayPal.
Of course it never happens. They contact me through text assuring me that all is fine and payments will be made.
I am concerned that they now have my email and text.
Is there any way to track these people and ban them from Craigslist?

While trying to sell a set of tires on this site, I have received texts from people out of state wanting to pay with a cashiers check. I have read about this scam, and refuse to deal with them. The cashiers check they give to you is not valid, and the bank takes the money out of your account to make good on it. By the time the bank realizes this, the merchandise is long gone. Is there any way to notify your sellers of this scam?
