Hi

I am a customer in South Africa, Kwazulu natal, Richards Bay.

in 2013 we invested approx. 1.5 million rand in Cisco wireless equipment (AP's and controllers) and till date (18 Nov. 2018) this kit has not been activated. The implementation partner Business Connexion has had constant problems in implementing this solution in our production environment and had to constantly load TAC cases with Cisco to assist.

Unfortunately Cisco has thus far failed to see the urgency of this and respond when they prompted. Thus far Cisco has been using my site as an R & D facility for their equipment i.e. When we log a call Cisco engineers will provide a solution - this is tried and usually fails and a another is logged and this has gone on for 2 years now.

This is disappointing support from Cisco but you never to request your PSS cost from me although equipment is still sitting in boxes.

Is there anyone at Cisco than can provide me with support to get this solution work for me so that I can realize my investment. If your Cisco equipment is not compatible with an industrial environment - please confirm and we will write of this amount and opt for some other more predictable wireless solution.

I will await your response. Contact me on

I contacted Cisco tech support for an issue that should have been an easy fix. Instead, the technician that was barely understandable, attempted to convince me that I had lots of other issues that could only be solved by paying them $250. Their tech support seems to be used as an opportunity to make more money. I would never but a Cisco product again.

My roommate tried the wrong network password 3 times. Now I can no longer connect with the correct password. I have called 3 times and everytime get a contracted tech support agency that won't help me reset the password without charging me $119!!

On 1-13-13 I purchased a E2500 cisco router from Sams Club Greenville N C it was 79.87 plus tax, I took it back to Sams today Sept 21 as I has quit working. they told me to call Cisco which I have but can not get to talk to a real live person, and as I read other people comments on this page I dought that any body at Cisco cares about customer service. I need my router as this is the second one that has gone bad let me here from you.

I am happy to read I am not the only one. Called support line and waited about 20 minutes. Every 2 minutes automated woman kept apologizing for wait. Finally she sai I could press a key and leave a message. When I pressed it, the line was disconnected. Si, I called back. This time chose not to press it, 60 minutes later I gave up and chose to press any key and it hung up. Now I go online for customer support and even the web page needs updating. No information here either. I wish I did some research before purchasing this router. Cisco Sucks!!

Joseph (869225), is a positive asset representing CISCO at the highest level. He displayed patience, understanding and guidance to an individual who is technology challenged.

His attention to detail and tolerance was reminiscense of the way we were as a nation years ago. Please thank him for updating my expectation regarding the industry.

1 year and 4 months ago I bought your cisco valet router and it is out of date needs software updating. So now to update it you want me to spent 200 dollars so that all my devices are re configured. Are there any other options. You are just a rip off company.

Don't even bother calling. It is not worth the time.Instead of assisting with issue they are seeing your call to be a sales opportunity. When buying a new router I will be sure that it will not be a cisco product

Never again...
I've been a Linksys fan since day one, (BEFSR-41) From now on, I'm going to their competitors. I just got off the phone with Cisco Tech support only to learn they will not fix the HTTPS problems caused by their expired security certificate. It expired...get this...in 1970! That's right, every Linksys Router ever made has had the same security certificate installed in it and it expired 41 years ago!

Apparently, a recent update to Win7/IE has beefed up security so that sites with invalid or expired certificates will no longer load. (You get the "Site cannot be displayed" error page) According to Microsoft "there is no workaround in Win7 with IE8 or 9."

On my 3rd router from cisco and keep getting same answer.  After 20 minutes of questioning who i am and the routers model and serial numbers repeatedly by someone with a heavy accent, i was told again that my router is past warranty by a few days.  This time i know thats not possible, the router is less than 4 months old.....yet he wanted to charge me $39 to help me reconnect to my computer which he said would take little time and is easy.  Finally, I did it myself with their home support web setup page in less than 10 minutes.    What a rip-off.  Shame on cisco for such lack of after sales service.  Will not be buying this brand again.
