Alltel... I wish you never sold out.
Verizon treated me ok, but this last 6-8 months they have been harassing me by raising my fee, dragging my service if not briefly disconnecting me to have trouble with my phone use...

I have been trying to call Alltel. To restore my services on my cell phone. But with no number to call. The number that shows on internet is not the right number. It tells that the phone services have been cut off. You can reach me at I would like to get my services turned on as soon as possible. Unless More of services.

FYI since your services doesn't exist anymore could you please release your phones so people could use them with another Services!!

We have been with Alltel for years and I've never seen such bad service our bill has countries to rise while our service has went to carp I lost my phone last night and had my service suspended I found my phone called back to turn service back on and they tell me 24 to 48 hours to get it back on we pay almost 400 a month for service that is sucked

I am not satisfied with the Airtel services in Karaikudi. In the Retailer they have not replied properly. They have redirected to contact a particular mobile phone dealer "Hello Mobile"for any clarification. now I want to know whether Airtel datacard is working in other booster which is purchased in Malaysia.

I am complaining because Alltel changed my upgrade date from August to November. The store associates at the local store are always helpful. But, your phone representative are rude and do not want to help. Due to this, as a 20 year customer I may have no choice but to find another cell phone provider.

I tried to call the customer service number
For altell and they said I had to call from another
Phone...I dont have another phone...I have not
even had this contract with altell two months yet and
The phone is already starting to act up...it freezes
and will not hold a charge for anything...and when
I charge it, it will become so hot that it is hard to keep
It to my ear...thank goodness for speaker phone..
I hope this phone lasts the entire two years...I dont think
I will be renewing this contract when the time comes

just tried to get a better plan for my phones as they have them advertised on their website. took me a while to get a live person and then i got hung up on the first time. i am sick of alltel. they said they can't give me a lower data pkg because of the phone i have. would have been nice to know that when i bought the crap. the customer service rep was rude, told me i couldn't do anything with the 2 lines i have. i will be switching to verizon. makes me sick how many people are being screwed over by them and their lies. i will be writing a letter to the corporate headquarters, maybe they'll do something, but probably not. will def make me feel better after wasting my money with them for over 10 years......

i deployed to iraq 2 years ago and brought my orders in to get the account frozen. after a month of training i called altell to have the plan frozen, the lady on the other line told me that they had no copys of my orders and i would have to fax them in (hard to do on a flight line and from iraq with no fax). so i mailed a copy of orders to my mother to bring into a local store and they said it was good. after i got back from my deployment my phone was cancelled and i owed them $640.00. so i went to the store that i gave the orders to the first time and pointed out the lady that i gave the orders to and the manager said that cant be right she is a model employe and i would have to pay the amount to get the phone turned back on. point of the story if you need a phone dont go to altell now AT&T on dell range BLVD in cheyenne WY

I have a blackberry curve, I choose to sign the two year contract- it meets my financial needs. But I find that before the contract period is up, I cannot buy accessories! Case in point you no longer carry batteries. I have to keep my phone plugged in, plus I have to take the battery out to reset! The phones are not lasting for 2 yeas. I can't afford to cancel the contract to get another phone! I do not want go to another company, cause I'm happy with Alltel! But why don't you keep replace items for people that have 2 years? Plus my daughter went into the Rockingham Store in NC, she had to sign up for a contract, but wouldn't let her keep her old number, cause I wasn't there, but they forgot to cancel it, so I have been paying for a phone for two months that they forgot to cancel! I've been a Alltel customer for A very long time! I have been laid off and you are costing me uncessary charges, plus my phone (Blackberry) is not helping me please look into this and see if I can get any help! I have called, but received my bill today and nothing has been changed! Holly Henley.

We had Alltel cell phones for over 10 years. We received a paper bill every month, and we paid it. On a trip, our cell phone quit-- glad there was not an emergency. Back home the Alltel/Verizon store said they had stopped service in this state. "Didn't you get a letter?" they asked. No letter. They did not know when the service stopped. I tried to get a refund for the 2 months when we had no service. We had to buy new phones. The billing people said they had no record of terminated Alltel service in our state. Why don't they stop answering questions. No answers are better than dumb answers.

I have just about had it with this company! They send me text messages saying the bill is due but THEY NEVER SEND ME BILL EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED ONE!!!! This has happened again and again and again!!! They claim that we never requested paper billing when, in fact, we have requested it, quite strongly, I might add. Then the agent tried to blame the postal service for not delivering it. We are so getting ready to leave Altell in the dust.

Alltel just notified me that they are discontinuing my wireless internet service...so far, I still have my two phones but my contract with the company has been satisfied and I will be shopping for an alternate service for phone and internet access.

I need a contact person who is familiar with internatinal calling. I have called twice and gotten people who are just trying to read off their screen and are not confident at all in what they are saying. Canl you give me number and extension of someone who can really help efficienlty?

why can i not talk to an freaking person in this company... i am seriously thinking of switching carriers, this is rediculous.. also all i want to do is have a number blocked from my phone. i sent a text to the 8888 number. and this guy is still calling me and texting me. I need to know how to block a number

..never in my life have I had to deal with people like this. Absolutley NO ONE knows what the hell is going on with-in that company. Depending on what person you talk to..you get a different answer every time. And I've been lied to multipal times about billing issues. I've had all I can take of Alltel.

I have been an loyal Alltel customer for over 9 yrs. Currently I have 3 lines. Alltel use to provide the best customer service at great prices. Drastic changes have happened over the last two years leaving their customers very unhappy. The call centers are unable/unwilling to help solve problems and don’t seem to be able to answer basic questions. Their billing department has had several issues and it takes hours/days to get them corrected. My calls are constantly dropped and other phone services are beyond horrible. As a former loyal Alltel customer I say don’t switch to Alltel if you have a choice. I am leaving as soon as my contract is up.

Alltel is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Our bill is a surprise every single month. I've been trying to switch out my phones because mine's super crappy, and first I couldn't because my phone was (and I'm quoting their technician here) "Old as sh**". Today I call to change to a newer phone and they tell me that because I'm in "in sprint's service area and not theirs" they can't do it, and now my old phone isn't working either! So here I am stuck with no phone, unable to get a hold of the agency on either phone line. Stupid freaking idiots man. I've had them charge me for calls to Egypt, charge me random roaming, charge me to change my plan, charge me for stuff I didn't buy (FOR MONTHS!). Not to mention they are rude and disrespectful every time I call them. I would ditch them but there's nothing else in this area.

I am not one to complain, but after the poor service and phone glitches I have experienced recently, I am livid with this company. It is not one representative in particularly, it is a culmination of being told misleading information and having a phone that has poor service and constantly gives me trouble. My Samsung Galaxy S has given me more issues than any other phone I have ever used: it constantly freezes up, has no service, and doesn't deliver messages when it says it has. Upon speaking with a representative, I was told there was nothing that could be done, and I have to wait until my contract is up. Furthermore, our internet card has been very slow in the past year, and I took it to the Alltel store to see what we could do to fix this. The representative informed me to call technical support to rectify the situation. After calling and waiting several times for the next available open line, I never was able to talk to a representative. I am beyond frustrated. This is very poor service, and I am unhappy due to these recent happenings. My family and I have always been loyal Alltel customers, and I would hate for this issue to be the reason we leave your company.

The internet access for payments online is absolutely the worst I have ever had to deal with. It takes forever to actually get to the portal to submit payment. I hate it. Seems like with all the money they make off of their customers, they could have an easier payment access method!!!!!!

Alltel disconnected my number without notice. I am currently 13 hours away from home on a trip without a phone. Probably gonna switch because of this.

I am having problems with Alltel after they threatened to close my account with over usage of a unlimited data plan. They agreed to waive early termination fees of all phones on my account. But afterwards they are charging me for early termination fees on 2 phones. I had 4 phones on the account. They said that I'm not in their service area and agreed to end the contract. But now they are saying that I was in their service area but in reality I wasn't, I was roaming at my home. I had tethering on my phone with unlimited data and they cancelled my contract because I went over 2GB of data. Alltel is a bunch of crooks and if I knew how to start a class action lawsuit against them, I would!
