Not having a number to call is just not right. I want to pass my kindle fire to my tech challenged husband but I have no direction on what to do first to make it ''new'' for him. May as well throw it out for all the support you get. Glad I got something better but will tell EVERYONE not to buy your product because it's not worth it due to lack of customer support.

I'm trying to install kindle on my android phone. It keeps saying it can't install, error code 919. What is that and what can I do? I had it installed and it was fine but quit working soiI uuninstall and not it won't install at all

My Kindle Wont Connect To My Wifi, It Says There Is A Problem With The Supplier. The Phone Number You Have Given Is Out Of Service. I Cant Put My Phone Number Into The Help Service, It Has Too Many Digits, I Cant Recommend This Product. Jan Bowen

I purchased a Kindle Fire HD 7" for my daughter. I bought it for her because disney junior app was available for the kindle fire. We had many issues with downloading the app. It wouldn't let me download it. So I wasn't able to give it to my daughter for Christmas. But, today I received a call back from the customer service, and they fixed the problem. They were so kind and helpful. Thank you so much!! My little girl loves her kindle fire. I was able to keep it and not return it. I'm a happy mama and she is a happy little girl.

I purchased a kindle for my husband and it did not last even 2 yrs. My husband purchased a kindle for me and it lasted less than 2 yrs. I purchased a replacement kindle for myself...it lasted less than 3 months. Prior to the demise of my new Kindle in Sept 2013...I purchased a new kindle for my husband....It doesn't work properly. What kind of junk is kindle scamming us with? When a person tries to contact kindle....the help is useless....Very poor company to do business with

No instruction manual and cannot access the home page despite several efforts.

No phone number to ask for help.

I would never buy something like this again!

I found the Kindle Fire tech to not listen to me, and to be absolutely no help! I ended the conversation with...we are aware of the problem with the Kindles shutting themselves off ... and no answer at all about it overheating as soon as its plugged in (even when turned off). As far as the shutting off problem, its not a NEW problem...my sisters first one did this when she bought it over a year ago.

After reading all the comments I see we're all having the problem, my sons kindle is about 2yrs old but he's had trouble charging it for over a year and now can't get it to charge at all...it's not the charger it self it the port on the actual device where you plug it in ...broken probably from every time trying to get it to charge had to wiggle it to get orange light to light then god for bid if you moved it a smidgen ..then it would go out & no charge......so now what do you do with a device you can't charge.??? Not to happy for a costly device !!!

Ridiculous that they cannot help you repair your out of warranty kindle. Only option is buy a new one...way to keep customers.

My wife is now a former Kindle user due to the poor quality of the device, a Keyboard. While we applaud the fine support from the tech staff, the device is poorly made and doesn't perform. Her next contact will be to inquire how she can recover her purchased books and transfer them to a more reliable, non-Kindle device.

I have a kindle fire and love it. But have run into a problem. I have had it since they first come out and a fee weeks ago it must have over heated or something while it was plugged in because the top is seperating from the bottom and you can see the silver thing in side. Is there anything that can be done about it. It also isn't holding a charge for very long.

I was getting online help awhile ago with Ellis helping. At the end I was supposed to receive an e-mail, which he said he sent, but even after refreshing, I still have not received it. Any possible way of getting it?

I purchased 2 kindle fires for my kids Christmas 2011. Now one will not charge, light won't turn green, same issues I found on this site of other customers. Customer service responded quickly but the guy basically was reading everything to me that I had already tried myself for the past 2 days from everything I found on line. Then he said I could send it in and purchase an upgrade or get a refurbished one. At this point I have nothing to lose so I'm going to try and purchase a battery replacement and give that a whirl first. I would expect something that cost $200 to last more than 15 months. I wanted to get myself one but now I will not. So disappointed.

unbelievable. they could not do enough for me . would recommend amazon to everyone.my kindle went wrong and could not be repaired so they replaced it right away no questions asked. the replacement was a newer and better version

I Drew A Blank On My Kindel And Called Tech Surpport. I Want To Say The Individual I Talked To Was Extremely Supportive As Well As Patient, Conversive And Helpfull. I Can Not Say Enough About The Time And Very Long Patient Assistance She Offered. Thank You And She In West Virginia.

Am very disappointed with my Kindle Fire. Had it for barely over a year (of course, the warranty expired)and now it won't charge anymore. Has anyone had this same problem with the charge port? I had to jiggle the charger to charge it a week ago and now it won't even do that. Very frustrating! When I contacted Kindle, I was told that I could get a different or used Kindle. It's not a very good product if it can't last more than a few years.

What a great site! Followed the directions and got a call from a Kindle Customer Service Rep and she was so helpful. Although my problem stumped them, we worked through 90% of the issue and they are going to continue to resolve this week and promised to call me back next Sunday at 1p! Thanks for the info on using this site.

Hello my name is Teresa and I have a kindle fire that was purchased in 2011,It has hardly been used,never damaged and all of a sudden it won't power on. How convenient when the warranty expired and now no one will help me out, all they want to do is sell me another one. Just for your information I know several of other people who have had similar problems with their kindle fire and had to purchase new ones. As a customer,I am Very dissatisfied with this product.
