I have had my Kenmore Grill Model #146.1006510 for just over a year now. Last week I was cooking some ribs and steak on it for a family cookout. I stepped away for 2 minutes and my grill caught on fire! I am meticulous about keeping my grill clean as to avoid grease fires because I am proud of my family and love to host cookouts, so I couldnt figure out why it would catch fire?? Upon further inspection, I found that my burners were all cracked, or broken near the back of the grill! Now my grill is useless without replacement.... after a year of use.... and the burner replacements arent cost effective at almost $30 per burner (x4). I dont understand why this would have happened at only one year of use?

I have tried many numbers and spoke to many customer service reps. My Kenmore vac is not broken. I do not want repair. I just want to talk to someone about how it closes and about this plug that is in front of the bag opening that seems to get in the way of when I close it. There is no one that can answer this simple question. What is more frustrating that it takes many people and many transfers on the phone for someone to tell you this. The website information leads you to believe that someone will help you, but it is only to schedule an appointment. Reps give you a number that takes a long time to actually reach someone and then you have to again explain your problem, only to be told that this is not a number that has a tech to talk to you over the phone. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I keep going back to find more information on line, thinking that this cannot be true, but it only means another 15-20 minutes to be told that all the others who transferred me, didn't know what they were doing, because no one can talk to you about your vac, only find a number to call for a repair. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I am SO FED UP WITH SEARS STORE who has refused to return my calls!!! & YOUR KENMORE PRODUCTS THAT SEARS WILL NOT STAND BEHIND! I purchased all new Kenmore Elite kitchen appliances, Refrigerator, double wall oven, cook top, dishwasher, microwave, & trash compactor on 9/25/15. The deliveries were spread out through month of October, starting Oct 7th... October 8th I called Sears sales sales person to tell her the racks in double wall oven do not slide in & out without scratching & flaking porcelain off oven walls leaving porcelain chips in oven floor, My sales lady told me to call service, so I had to wait a week before they came out... Service said there was nothing they could do to fix it and suggested I rub oven & racks down with Crisco! After that I went back to Sears, asked for a replacement, second oven had exact same problem! In the meantime, I noticed one of the burners on my cook top did not heat properly, & dishwasher does not dry my dishes on heated dry cycle, my microwave is not the one I ordered and has a problem with touch pad & door. The side-by-side fridge has a problem with ice-maker and bottom hinge on fridge side. I've never bought Kenmore products before but I decided that I would go to Sears for good quality & good service! I GOT NEITHER!! Long story short, I was supposed to get oven #3 before Thanksgiving (as I have 40 guests for the holiday).. I never got oven #3! After Thanksgiving I went to Sears to tell them I'd had it with their responses to correct the problems, I wanted to return all of my "brand new appliances" the manager said I waited too long and they would not let me return them but would review my request and get back to me That was before Christmas 2015!!! I have called Sears many times since ( it is now the end of May). I would think KENMORE WOULD HAVE ENOUGH PRIDE IN THEIR PRODUCTS TO STAND BEHIND THE STORE THAT SELLS THEM! I'VE SPENT $8,000.00 FOR FAULTY APPLIANCES!! IT'S NO WONDER SEARS STORES ARE CLOSING!

My Kenmore Electric self cleaning oven will not unlock, can u help me

My washer stopped after 10 years. I bought another small top loading kenmore in january. The choices buttons made sense (warm hot cold and combinations). A few weeks ago I had to add something and felt the water in the tub and it was ice cold..not WARM like the setting said. So all these month I washedy stuff in COLD water, which to me is not efficient cleaning. The manual said: Warm water might feel cool to the
touch". What cap is that??? If it feels cool (actually it felt cold) then it's not warm!!!.Am i suppose to wash my stuff in cold water for the next ? Years knowing it might not be clean?I would like to see Kenmore, who used to have great products (we have always bought kenmore appliances) make good and exchange for a machine that let's me wash my laundry in WARM water!!!

As a user of Kenmore appliances for many years, I would like advice concerning new set of kitchen appliances I have now. It's the refrigerator, stove, dishwasher. On my stovetop, I have a thin scratch line on one of front burners and would like to know is there some way to correct this. I take pride in having things look correct and it bothers me to see this thin line. Please advise of any thought to correct this. Thank you for your time.

I will never buy a kenmore or sears product again. Paid $650 for a new washer with kenmore connect 2 years ago. It stopped working today so I called to do the kenmore connect over the phone that is supposed to apply to their products for life, well they refused to help me and said it's out of warranty and I need to pay $70 for a tech to come look at it. What a joke. A complete waste of money. I was on the phone over 20 minutes to be told that they will not help me. Don't waste your money or time on these junk appliances and piece of crap companies.

I have a Kenmore microwave it's only a 1 1/2 years old. There is a removable shelf
that's made of some metallic material. Recently the microwave burst into flames at the hingepoint where the shelf meets the microwave

What a great scam. Sell inferior products so you can continue to collect money through service calls and inflated parts. You can't even talk to them without paying money. Every time an extended warranty is offered, it is a statement of how this appliance will perform. They know how to make them so they last but that isn't going to provide them with a regular income for life. Isn't it amazing how many people are making a lifetime of income off the appliances we have purchased from Sears.

I am so incredibly disappointed in kenmore services and the quality of their products. I purchased a fridge in May of 2015 from Sears that has now broken down 4 times since May. The company will not replace it beucase they said that I had to place a service call 4 times with parts ordered before May. This has left my tenants who have two babies under the age of two with no food and no way to keep their milk cold. This is unacceptable and the rep that I spoke to told me that the company does not provide services based on whether or not it affects a family, but based on the fine print of thier policies. Never again will I purchase a kenmore product nor will I ever purchase a product from sears again.

What good is kenmore connect on any of this junk? I bought this fridge from a friend and a few weeks later the thing quit working and now sears is telling me that they can't let me use the kenmore connect service cause I'm not the original purchaser. This fridge is basically brand new with the tape on the drawers and my friend change numbers every so often and did not keep his receipt and paid cash. But kenmore connect is supposed to be good for the life of the merchandise. I am no longer a sears customer screw sears I hope they shut down for this false statement in there handbooks

I have a kenmore Mark liters water heater in my house,serial 0991J28406, it works very well,but i would like to know the age of it to know if it is time to replace,i have this home for 3 years,it was built in 76,but i dont know when the water heater was install.Michel

I am force to write this comment as I am fed up with the inferior range and the service when you call to get information. This is my 2nd Sears Kenmore range and I am having the same issues on both stoves that I have owned.
Sparks fly when you turn on the burner and the first time I called to report this issue it was a month pass my warranty date and they refused to honor it.I had was to pay to have it serviced.
Now the same issue arises again and I cannot even get any information on the parts that I need I have to go all the way to the Philippines to speak with some one. Poor customer service if you ask me.I will never purchase another appliance from Sears Canada again. I have been trying to contact some one above the agents in the Philippines and to no avail. I cannot afford to buy a stove every 2 or 3 years, honestly I do not think any one should.

I am so frustrated. I cannot find a customer service number to a live person who can answer my question about how to unlock the door of my new dishwasher. I think we have figured it out, but it seems that using our method frequently will tamper with the computer motherboard on the control panel. The user guide is useless. Online chat person also could not answer my question.

SEARS is the worst company to buy appliances from. We have 6 appliances from them and the refrigerator has had issues since day 1 and should have been replaced according to their so-called LEMON LAW. But the strung it along until the warranty ran out, and it still doesn't keep food cold, but we we're told it's because we have a broken CRISPER DRAWER. What do drawers have to do with temperature. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SEARS APPLIANCE OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER. (Not to mention the fact that we had to call 10 or 15 phone numbers to try to get help)!!!!

Awful awful customer service!!! Was told that I could not receive the warranty work I needed because I did not know the phone number I had when I purchased the washer. After stating my frustration again, the representative told me "I'm so sorry that are too stupid to not remember a phone number from 3 years ago, that is the only way we can look it up" then she hung up on me !!!! Will never buy a Sears product again!!!

brutal customer service!!!!! all i wanted was to get help on how to remove a filter on my dishwasher so i could clean it. Got routed to 15!!!!! different numbers for them to tell me that they could not help. Service matches up to the quality of you product BRUTAL!!!! big mistake in buying Kenmore never again and word of mouth will spread

I just moved into new place i have a KenmoreElite electric oven about aprox 15 years old model # 69292
problem is stove shows image of oven light on left and stove top light on right .... has bulbs can't find switch to turn on either one ....lol

I purchase a Kenmore refrigerator that was on the floor (a display), so it was set up to Demo mode. Now is at my house stuck on Demo mode, so it won't cool. I call customer service to ask about how to deactivate the Demo mode and they told me to read the manual, which I had already done!!! She had no idea how to fix the problem and I stay on the phone with her for 1 an hour and 45 min to resolve nothing. I call the store where I purchase it , Tallahassee Fl. And the lady was very rude and told me I had to call customer service. I call customer service once again and the guy hang up the phone so I call back again and same thing happened the guy had no idea how to fix the problem and they would have to send a technician. today is August 3 and the tech can't come to my house until August 10. I have a 2 years old and it has been a chalange to keep food for her. I spend over $350.00 for protection but it was a waste of money. They have awful customer service and they do not care about there customers. Do not waste your time or money on Sears!!!!!

Good customer service is rare these days so I feel compiled to report the Excellent and prompt attention I received on Saturday February 14 (Valentine's Day) at approximately 8:00 PM. I regret I didn't write down her name but the representative was knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the problem and she did so with a sense of humor when my husband and I were slightly panicked. I'm sure you will be able to identify this helpful person.

Since I read some of the recent comments, I will add that when we remodeled our kitchen in 2007 we bought all Kenmore appliances from Sears. We have not regretted that decision at all!

I have 4 kenmore appliances in my home that I wish I never bought. The freezer door sqeekes when opening,the dishwasher is peeling on the inside,mounted microwave door handle is unstable and the double oven is flawed in the design. Liquid drips on the inside of oven doors and you cannot get it out. The appliances are less than two years olds. Not happy and will never buy kenmore again.

Kenmore does not have customer service. They are liars. They will hang up on you. If you buy one of their products you get no customer service. If you read this and still buy kenmore you will regret it, promise.
