I shopped local store and on the shelf next to price of candy was an offer for buy 3 and get one free!
I also bought a box of crackers that were terrible and looked at date and they were from 2020! I took back to the store and they offered another box! But when looking for another they were all outdated! I even checked other flavors!
As the young lady mgr.and I passed the candy I showed her the strip that said buy three and get one!Her response to me was that strip is sent from corporate to put on but we dont honor it! I've been in retail for over 40 years and I'm aware things have really changed in this world !But any time a posted it needs to be honored!
Mind you this mgr.was more worried about telling her coworker about her date to Chicago!
But the crackers I exchanged got done with .35 back even!

Supplies are running short in Pana,IL for some reason many shelves are empty and not yet restocked a week later. Haven't seen a truck for long time except soda.

Hi im sure you have gotten alot of complaints with your dollar General store in bellwood pa. First off I feel bad for the new manager. There are crates up an down every isle an i no for a fact. There hasn't been crates moved since Thanksgiving. They keep getting more stock in before they get the other put stocked. Your losing customers. You can't get to anything. An when someone shows up to work they have stay near the registers with a line clear to the back.... I myself go to dg for many things that are not available cause you can't stock with two people there. One weekend recently no one showed up for work that left your manager was the only one there to run register an try to stock. My thought would be after the store closes have workers come in an stock the shelves. Your losing business when you lose business your losing money. BELLWOOD.PA 16617 NEEDS HELP ASAP.

I just came home from you store on Naamans road in Delaware. Being a manager in a large food store for 35 years I'd be upset to say I supervised that store. No body faces the store when they are closing or opening. There are carts of shopbacks all over the store , you ask, any cart and they tell you when this lady's done follow her to her car to get her cart. Every aisle I went up had a U boat loaded and I has to move one to get my soup. So that was when I stopped shopping and went next door to the Save A Lot and did my shopping..the shelves aren't wiped when they are restocked so when I empty your packages I have to wipe the bottoms of my hard items.and being a consumer I'm not an intrusion to their phone call,I'm packing for that phone. All in all the store is a hot mess and getting worse.

I went in to cash in coins for my teenage son and was told they wouldn't take them. There are signs all over saying that the store takes coins. They told us they didn't need them and wouldn't take them. When I asked who I could call the lady said she is the manager and she is the one I would call. As a new business in town I was very disappointed with the situation and the way she responded

Constantly bagging my chemicals with food. When I asked do they always do that all she could do was shrug. No smile no conversation at all.

Yes I'm very concerned about your stores in our area especially the on on 69 south in Tuscaloosa al this is a very dangerous and rude store to shop at I am very concerned for the safety of the customers that shop there you can never find anything because carts full of products are all over the place someone is gonna get hurt I will be contacting OSHA I myself have worked retail and this is an awful experience every time I go in the store I have started taking my business to the Moundville al store and it is a lot better but didn't have some of the products I shop for this store Anrz is a pitiful excuse for retail!

How come the dollar general store on Is never stocked I walked in tonight for some sugar and they are never stocked I live close to the store this store is not like the other stores which they are always stock but this one never I can see the truck came in today but nothing is put away this is very sad

I have a valid question, why is the Marysville Ohio store on 8th Street always have empty shelves. Even necessity items like furniture polish. I can go 5 miles to Milford center Ohio and their shelves are always full. Is someone not ordering stock or are you so short of staff to stock what you do have. You have to realize the location in Marysville is prime shopping for seniors and in walking distance. We don't want to drive 2 or 3 miles to big grocery stores to get one item. But as I said most time, the shelves is empty. Are you not wanting this store to succeed, and I feel for the staff as you ask if you have and low and behold the shelves is empty. Mine being yesterday furniture polish, and another time pumpkin. These are items that should always to available. So unless this store gets better I will go to Milford Center Ohio

Was the lindsborg ks store today and it's awful sad when you have employees putting their heads on the counter while ringing up. And then as I walked in the store I heard a gentleman ask for a product and the cashier just pointed to the isle and said it should be down just one and didn't even move. Any young woman and her baby we're getting ready to leave and she took it upon herself the customer to help the gentleman find he was looking for with no help from the checker. There used to be here one really good employee it would go out of his way to help us older women find things or anybody general and to my understanding you so longer there which it's very sad because he was the there nicest if not friendliest employee they had.and now you have people laying their heads on the desk while you are waiting for your receipt like you are inconveniencing them. meanwhile your customers like the young lady with her infant daughter went out of her way to help this man and she doesn't even work there.

Bought 2 XBOX cards yesterday and both had last 5 numbers on the code cut off register tape. Have tried to everything to resolve this situation without any luck.

I am writing because this is the 2ndtime I tried to use my digital coupon app in one of your stores but didn't get any reception while in the store. Today I could have used a $5offcoupoon but was unable to due to this issue. Please work on this issue thank you

My complaint isn't about service, products or any of those others. Mine is about the condition of the store.. When it first opened I was glad to have it in my area but now it is nothing but a junk store. It always has clothing and all kinds of toys and products laying all over the floor.. I don't even like to go in that store anymore.. Very hard to get around in it..

The website says store closes at 10pm on Sunday nights. CST. The front door says the same. Why is the doors locked at 9:51pm? I had forgot something earlier. I looked the hours up saw the closing time. Only to find out 25 minutes later of driving it was closed.

I live in Bonifay florida.The workers are too busy on their phones to make sure you get all your bags and don't speak to you.Next visit I stood in line for 10 minutes and finally get rung up and dingbat cashier forgets the card reader is not even there it's just an empty bracket.I said screw it and went to Family Dollar.Then it is stupid that you card 52 year old people for your 7 dollar a pack cigs. I never comment on anything. But I will never step foot in another Dollar General.I hate Wal-Mart,but at least you can check out self serve there. And who's idea was it to design the store where you have to drag through other lines of people to get the he'll out of store? Idiots

I live at Booneville, AR. You had a sale on Pepsi 4/$9. My husband went there to buy some Diet Pepsi. Only had two after the Pepsi truck had run. We buy a lot of Diet Pepsi. Your store never has enough. We have to buy from Walmart. Can't you get more Diet Pepsi in that store.

Why has the store in Carrollton Illinois gone to hell??? The store is dirty,unorganized,and the workers seem to know nothing! At one time it was a cute store that everybody want to go to,now if you can avoid it you do. It needs leadership and management.I work retail for 20 years, pay your people,get a knowledgeable manger you'll see a better business!

The dollar general at 7288 New Jesup Hwy Brunswick Georgia 31523 is TOTALLY AWESOME,Miss Teresa is great, y'all have a good manager there,she is ALWAYS friendly ready to help the customes,the rest of the workers are great to,but even with Miss. Teresa having the surgery on her hand ,she willing and ready to assist her customers,I love going in the store , it's really a pleasure to go in there where you are treated like somebody..love love the store

Store was a mess. Boxes were everywhere. There were no carts left but product was being stored in carts inside. Myself and another customer needed a cart. Finally get to check out only to realize the cashier was playing on her phone. Could she maybe have been putting some product that was being stored in the cars away?

I have had problems in the past with prices being marked wrong. I finally decided I would try one more time not very pleased. Will not be back again.

So please explain to me why managers have to do everything at dollar general i live in lv nevada and that store man its the worst. We stand in line for several minutes and i decided to remove an item and the manager said we had to cancel it and restart all over people in line put they stuff down and left said they were going to smiths and walmart nearby thats ridiculous. I heard the pos system isnt the best the manager put a key in i work in retail man no one does the key anymore. Im confused this process is ridiculous if you have associates as cashiers why cant they just delete the item. Others stores do it with no problems and managers arent needed ! Also whats with the people not knowing where items are at they all were lost in there ! Please fix this or i myself wont be returning and will let my bloggers know this store isnt the best Family dollar doesnt have these issues !

I am William Studer a new resident of Lebo,Kansas. I was wondering why your store here does not have a produce section. It is 16 miles to closest grocery of DG that has a produce section. This community has no grocery store and there is a real need for this section to be added here. I am physically challenged and rely on a transport company orfreinds and family to shop.Burlington, has a grocery store and a DG with produce section which is closest town. But on weekends there is no transport service. I would deeply appreciate you at least give our little community the opportunity to prove to you that a produce section in out DG store would benefit both the company and us.
Thank you for any consideration in resolving this section missing from our store.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, I purchase some items from the Dollar General Store located at 8605 Dollarway Road, White Hall Arkansas. Four days later, Nov. 17, 2018 I tried to return an item, In perfect condition, totally unopened, with my receipt. The sales clerk was hateful from the start, not saying a word, just snatched the item up and proceeded with my refund. I noticed my item rang up for half of what I paid for it four days prior and I tried to bring it to her attention..she rolled her eyes, totally disregarding what I said. When she tried to complete the refund, I again told her that the amount wasnt accurate. She told me yes it was. The item must have went on sale and she totally refused to give me full price, even telling me to go to another store and try it. when I asked for the manager, she said she was it. I ended apologizing if I had in some way made her upset (which I hadn't...she was like that when I first entered the store) and I left the store with my unneeded item and my wrinkled up receipt that she had balled up and thrown at the trash can. I am appalled at her attitude towards me and I am discouraged from ever buying anything else there again. I will go to Walmart or Dollar Tree next time.

The Manger Carrie stated that she would not take a item back without a receipt! Unsure of why I needed my receipt when I was just at the store the day before. The store is in a small area of a few thousand people. The Manger is rude and hateful! The Manger doesn't try to help the Customer instead is rude to them and doesn't allow them to return an item that was purchased from their store that previous day
