I have been on the phone calling Ambit for three solid days and they just continue to keep you on hold. This company is the worst ever! Who do you call to complain about over charges that went to the roof!There is no customer service department because this company does not have one.

I am not in orbit customer and I wouldn't try to be with this service it's a guy that be in The Cannery Court area and Illinois he be begging people for the switch they service and he going to have an early to say the day all of y'all brainwash m************ y'all need to do something about your representative that's in Illinois in Bellevue

Our electricity was cut off while out of town. Not due to lack of payment but a miscommunication about when it should go out of our name. Guess what? No emergency numbers and it is a holiday weekend AND it is 16 degrees!!! Oncor will not reconnect without authorization from Ambit. Ambit is sitting somewhere nice and warm while we have no heat. I certainly will look for another provider! I will not recommend them to anyone, any time.

Y'all shut my power off immediately for non payment after a day. I've been out of town. I asked you to mail a statement. No bill in mail. Don't send email. You email. I have no power with an elderly mother n law a wife and 3 kids under 10 yrs old. As soon as I found out I paid within 10 minutes the amount due. It's has been over 5 hours now going on 8:20 at night with kids that go to school. You're closed????? I pay you and money comes out immediately. Your 2-4 hour power back on? Zero compassion. Your pay online hardly ever works.

The online system is really bad confusing difficult . I'm cancelling because it. The number sounds busy all the time. You lost a client because the system sucks.

They promised free cruise when I signed on. I never got it. I called repeatedly about it. Then they promise gas cards if I send over q certain dollar amt receipts at a certain time... Never got it. Called repeatedly. Finally got fed up with lies, bill for 600sq ft apt was $160 per month. I cancelled and pd final bill. I was not made aware of cancellation fee of $279. Now they are posting this to my credit report. Again I call them and they won't help. Worst energy co ever!!!!______

Ambite Energy. -; Absolutely the most rude and unaccomidating business I have ever done business with in my whole entire life. Wish I had never even heard of Ambite energy. Absolutely cant wait for my contract to expire. I promise I will tell everyone I know absolutely the worst company in the world.

Ambit Energy Is A Terriable Company. It Is Impossiable To Workout Any Arrangements With Them. I Was Told My Payment Dates Can Be Change To The 15th. I Call Back After Recieving Abill Due On The 9th. I Was Told That The Conversation Never Took Place And The Date Cant Be Change! I Talk To A Supervisor And It Turned Out Even Worst. I Reminded Him Of The Supposed Recorded Conversation Were Told At The Beginng Of The Calls. Of Course The Conversation Wasnt Found. I Want A Ap0logie And I Was Told I Could I Would Get One From Him Pertaining Our Present Conversation. I Felt I Was Being Accused Of Lieing And Didnt Know What I Was Talking About. I Reuse To Be Treated Like That After Being A Good Paying Customer. I Will Be Swicthing My Service. It Is Too Many Other Co. To Swicth Too.

I have had the worst experience with Ambit energy the last 3 months. My CC expiration date expired and all I had to do was provide them with new date. Since then they have not been able to apply automatic payments instead I have had to continue to reinstatement fees. For two years they had no problems with taking automatic payment now all of a sudden i'm paying out of pocket for their incompetence. They are only out to take their money. It takes 30 mins to even get anyone on the line in the first place.

Liah83, just for your information... Ambit does have shorter hours than most power companies. I am not going to deny that, but there is a reason for that. If your power goes out, you do not call Ambit Energy. You call the provider of electricity, the company that delivers it to you because it is their fault not Ambit's. You were clearly misinformed on how the process works and I am sorry you went without power just because you did not know who to call.

How can a such important and essential company like a power company have such short hours. Ambits hours are asinine. Our power blew out at 6am on 11/04/2012. It is now only 7:45 on a sunday. and they won't be open till 10!? So now we risk our food spoiling which isnt cheap. This is absolutely unacceptable.

office hours need to be open longer spent all night in the dark with no lights on trying to pay my bill once again which i already paid earlier last month n they still got cut off the lady in customer service was rude after i told her well melaine another lady i had spoke with said it was fine to pay the other 80 i owed next bill even went on saying some people wont tell u cuz they jsut want the payments paid n so forth just thought it was outragous how i could not conact anyone to help me get my lights cut on throughtout the night had to wait till they opened with a fussy baby n couldnt even cook or go out for food by the time i got home it was late and everything had closed customer service is horble
