Models have literally starved themselves to death in order to fit into the "stereo type" that retailers like Abercrombie & Fitch wants them to fit into! This company should be ashamed of themselves for having such narrow minded mentality in this day and age. How dare they try to tell society that people aren't beautiful unless they are skinny! I know many females that are larger than a size 10 and they are not only healthy, but absolutely gorgeous! I hope they lose enough business from all their idiotic, narrow minded thinking to close down forever!

This is the worst store ever! I refuse to go In there. One this is you can't breath or see. I will not give money to people who don't sell all sizes. I've been anorexic because I wanted to fit into stores like this. I will make sure everyone I know dosent shop at Abercrombie

every body should boycot A&F how dare that man say large people don't belong in his store, that is so rude. People should be judged by the inside not the size of they're butt. I have 5 beautiful daughters and they are all skinny and I am going to tell them not to ever go in your store again, I just can't believe America has come to this to judge people with out knowing them and discrimiating them because of they're size how dare you and you should be ashamed of your self.

I'm Abercrombie's target customer. Thin. Tall. Everything else that they consider "perfect". I was even offered at job at Hollister. But I refuse to work for them or to even purchase their products solely because of Mike Jeffries' outrageous criticism of girls who I personally think are insanely beautiful. My money is best spent elsewhere.

If A&F only want "beautiful" people walking through their doors, then Jeff cannot be anywhere near their stores because he is an ugly human being, both inside and out. Discriminating against any female above a size 10 is absurd. The average female is a size 12 and people come in all shapes and sizes. Some are just naturally big boned or have slow metabolism. Anorexia, bulimia, low self esteem, laxative abuse are all disorders that effect teens today and CEO's like Jeff should be fired for making such ugly comments about a youths weight at such a sensitive age. A&F is being banned in by all of my friends and I. We don't need idiots like their companies telling us what we need to look like. We are all unique in our own way and we should celebrate that, not be bashed for it. As for the comment below that states she's a size 2 and tired of plus size clothes being everywhere, I highly doubt that you are that superficial, or are you? I'm average size and I do not see plus size clothes as a threat to society.

I'm a size 2 and HORRAY for a store that has small sizes!!!!! I have shopped in many stores that don't even carry smaller sizes. They are all made for large women. I'm SICK of it. Seems like all the stores are catering to large women. YES, america is getting fatter and fatter - that is THEIR problem - NOT mine. I think I'm being discrimanated against because no one is making smaller sizes anymore.
I have not shopped at Abracombie just because I didn't like the super loud music and I couldn't take the perfume smell. Get rid of that and I'll probably go in.

I am outraged at the comments about weight. In a world of girls suffereing and even dying from eating disorders the current statement from your CEO is callous, rude, and disgusting. I was taking my daughter to Abercrombie to purchase a spring wardrobe this weekend. I will no longer walk through your doors or Hollister's doors. I am so glad to find out the morals and vaulues that rule your company. I hope you can sleep with yourself at night knowing what you've done to girls who carry a little more weight. You are responsible for more than you even realize. Goodybye and Good Riddance.

I have 4 thin teens that love this company, but after discussing the CEO's bigotry we have agreed to spend our money elsewhere. This is a great opportunity for them to learn about standing up for others. Plus, this CEO doesnt even fit his own "attractive" rules. Wishful thinking on his part.

just like to say that if you are going to discrimate against people that do not meet your requirments of beauitful and just becuse there plus sizes that you can completely just go to hell who are you to judge and for the simple fact that you only hire good looking people to work for you is unbelievable. Not to mention Jeff you arent so hot yourself so maybe you should take a look in the mirror before you judge anybody else. Grow some character. Better yet grow some respect I have never stepped foot in your store and i never will after the article that i just read. you are a complete prick.

Due to your CEO's sizing policy and narrow mindedness, my two daughters (size 0 & 10)

will not be shopping at AF. Not only will I be sure to post this article on FB regularly, my girls, their friends, and other family will do the same and will no longer purchase from your business! If the president is smart he would fire THIS CEO and recruit someone who does not insult a large sector of the population or make girls, who don't fit HIS idea of beautiful, feel less than!!

I want this email sent to Mike Jeffries and the stupid Dick that he is. Seriously? You don't want "fat" chicks in your store? Well this fat chick doesnt want to shop in your idiot store anyways. Why would I want to support a store who advertises with half naked models? Are you running a prostitute ring or something? Why don't you just have them fully naked then maybe you will attract more of the "cool" kids. Everyone who supports this store is a Dick just like the founder. I will spread the word about this. According to this popular teen clothing retailer, fat chicks will just never be a part of the “in” crowd.

They take a big risk with this tactic because two of Abercrombie’s biggest competitors, H&M and American Eagle, both offer XXL sizes for men and women.

The largest women’s pants available at Abercrombie are a size 10, while H&M goes up to 16 and American Eagle goes even farther to 18.
Abercrombie’s attitude towards plus-sized women derives from CEO Mike Jeffries. Robin Lewis, author of The New Rules of Retail, spoke to Business Insider about the kind of people Jeffries wants advertising his brand.

“He doesn’t want larger people shopping in his store, he wants thin and beautiful people,” Lewis said. “He doesn’t want his core customers to see people who aren’t as hot as them wearing his clothing. People who wear his clothing should feel like they’re one of the ‘cool kids.’”

My husband and I went to Abercrombie tonight to buy my daughter a flannel shirt she had seen when she was in Syracuse. The first 3 people we talked to didn't know what flannel was. The fourth person said they didn't have anymore though there were 2 displayed on mannequins. After questioning him for a few minutes he agreed to check and see if they had anymore in the store then directed us to the men's section saying they only had the shirt in men's sizes. I ended up buying my daughter a mens' medium that fit her perfectly and she is 5'2" and weighs 110 pounds. You need to direct your staff to appear happy to assist patrons. It was a disappointing experience. I hope I never have to encounter such discontented employees again.

Myself and my partner visited your store yesterday morning in Solihull to
purchase some summer wear for our pending holiday.
When we went to pay for the shorts that had been marked down due to sale
instore, we were greeted with, oh really sorry, put we haven't had time to take
the sale signs down!!
After putting a point over, i then returned all the purchases that i was
making, 2 x shorts, fleece, coat and 4 t shirts to the shelves as i was
disgusted that no one in the shop had made an effort to take the signs down.
The shop was really quiet, so i can see no reason why the staff hadn't.
We regularly use Hollister in Solihull for clothes, but unfortunately, this has
made me wonder if this the way you treat your valid customers, i will go
elsewhere..
your views would be appreciated..

Never had a problem with them, i don't like the store, i don't shop there, but when i do go in (rarely) i never have any problems i don't know why all these people are complaining. Their prices are high and the music is loud, but they changed the volume a bit because it is more bearable now. As for the perfume smell, it smells good but they do spray a lot. It doesn't bother me, i like it but if you have a sensitive nose or allergies, i wouldn't recommend going in there, you would start sneezing non-stop.

I am very disatisfied with Abercrombe & Finch!! In January I ordered s hooded sweatshirt and a plaid shirt for my sons' 30th birthday - no problem ordering it or receiving it but it apparently came from China (Putian Chengxiang Lite sports) with a contact name of Mr. Zhuang, which is also fine except if you need to return anything it is impossible to get in touch with them - the invoice that came with the items says i ordered a coat worth 26.00 euros, when I paid 125 euros for both items - the hoodie is fine but the shirt is way too big and not the one I ordered and I can't get in touch with anyone to arrange an exchange - I have sent numerous emails but no response so NEVER again will I buy from Abercrombie & Finch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shop at your Park City, Utah outlet store. Today I went next door to Harry & David's. I heard a deep pounding coming through the walls from Abercombie & Fitch. I complained to Harry & David's and was told that they had asked A & F to turn down their music and was told that the volume was set by corporate and that they were not allowed to turn it down.

If this is true, it is bad policy. Your store is affecting the neighbors business let alone their employees.



Please allow, or tell the Park City Store to turn down the music, or move the speakers away from the common wall or insulate the speakers so the sound does not travel.

Worst service at Manhasset NY store.Would never go back again. Rude staff who were talking to each other and not paying attention to what they were doing Roosevelt Field Mall is much better staffed. Many people will never go to that location for good.Sunday,Jan.27 5:30.

Really? I went to A&F @ Westfield Mall where customer service sweetly informed me that the ear-blasting music, which cannot be adjusted by employees, is not a problem-what? Just because one cannot even HEAR one another?? My nine-year old girl who LOVES music was seriously getting a headache between that&the over-powering perfume they spray @ service desk started her big time sneezing&we had to leave! Even if I am not 18-30, does corporate REALLY not want sales to increase, as I am one of the many who used to shop there years ago&spend ALOT of money before they changeed their image, which incidentally, was laughable visually. NO MORE!

placed my order for a pair of jeans on 12/25 for 3 day shipping. its now the the 1st of the month and still do not have the package. they refunded my shipping sense it was $15 . I tracked my order and it says N/A, that it was shipped from abercrombie to grove city ohio but has been there for 4 days and still has not shipped to my house. Very mad about this. customer service said wait a couple days there was nothing they could do and to call fedex called them. they said to call back in 5 days. I'm Like REALLY! this better get fixed.

Never again will my husband or myself shop at either Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister.. I bought my husband from both stores and he was not happy with the product.. We went and returned the clothes yesterday and in both stores the music is so loud that you can not communicate with the salespeople.. They are rude and usually do not make eye contact with you. Well in both transactions i paid cash and in order to receive my refund I had to sign a paper which required my name,address and phone number.. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Why do i have to release all my personal information to receive a $ 26.oo cash refund.. When I asked the clerk about why I was required to fill that in she acted like i was the moron.. I told her that I was not going to fill out the info and she said that if i didnt i wouldnt get my money back.. NEVER have I walked into a store with a return and been told that i had to fill out the paperwork in order to get my refund.. The clerk also proceeded to look at me and say in a very sarcastic voice.."Trust me noone will use your info to come look for you".
I have never received such poor service.

My ex-husband purchased a tee shirt and hoodie for our 16 year old son at the Grandville, MI store. It sat wrapped under my tree for a few weeks. My son opened the presents on 12/25/12. He did not like the the hoodie because the emblem was "too fancy". The tags are still on it. He did not even try it on. It sat in his room until 12-29-12 until his dad picked him up. Today, 12-30-12, they brought it back to the store. The manager refused to accept it stating It wasn't in the "original condition", because it smelled like smoke. None of us even smoke! Two store employees apologized to my ex, saying it looked and smelled fine to them, but they couldn't do anything about the manager.
