HI, i am praveen kalra and i bought a refrigerator model no. r-zg470end1 with a grosss volume 451 and storage volume of 395 ltrs.
after a month of purchase i saw accumulation of excessive ice in the freezer compartment. i made a complaint to the related service centre and attending personnel gave me a very vague answer that this was due to the moisture in the atmosphere due to which there is excessive accumulation of ice and i should clean the freezer and run it on a slower mode and wait and watch. Though i was not satisfied yet i thought of giving it a chance.

after a few days of cleaning the same problem was being noticed and i again made a complaint to this regard. this time the same person attended the complaint and gave a statement that when the refrigerator door is closed the freezer door tends to open and due to this a gap remains and hence the moisture from outside enters the freezer compartment leading to this problem. he also told that this is the problem with this particular model and hence while closing the refrigerator door i should make sure that i push the freezer door so that the problem doesnot occur. i was astonished on listening to this statement and asked him to sort out the problem as i was not satisfied with his suggestion of closing the door again and again. Yesterday i.e. on 16.7.2013 he visited and added some packing to the freezer door. now everytime i close the refrigerator door the freezer door opens and closes on its own. is this the kind of quality you are providing to your customers wherein to sort out a problem another problem is being created. The local service center at Ghaziabad have closed my complaint but i am not at all satisfied with this kind of arrangement made by the service personnel. I request you to look into the matter urgently and please also let me know why i should not go in the consumer forum for sorting out my problem.
