I have been on hold waiting for a tech regarding thermostat wiring. I decided while waiting to check your website only to find out that you closed at 7 pm. I keep getting the "pls hold, a rep will be with you shortly"message. Somehow at 7:35, I sincerely doubt it

We had a new T4 Pro thermostat installed. We were given ONLY the installers manual. The company which installed the heating/air system does not have copies of the user manual and have been emailing me a page at a time copy. How do I get the user manual that I should have been given when it was installed. I certainly don't want to pay up to $60 for something to which I'm entitled. I spent three hours on the computer yesterday trying to find a free manual. Honeywell's service to the customer is terrible. All they say is to contact the installer. I got NO help at all.

Just wanted to share what a BAD experience I have had with Honeywell DVR security system. I find the product too hard to navigate. The app on the mobile device with worthless for playback. I can't get a tech person to help or explain why it doesn't work.

How can I put a permanent temperature, and hold, in HoneywellRTH 230B...There is no "Hold" button...I want to set at 45 degrees and stay there...

As the message stated on my iPad app, my thermostat lost Internet connection. It gave me a number to call. The message at this number asked me to call 1-855-733-5465. The message said to select from the following menu. No menu ever came on. NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE--just added to my frustration!

When a customer calls outside of your customer service hours, please play some sort of "customer service is closed" recording instead of having customers choose numbers on your selection menu. I was on hold for 38 minutes, only to find out that customer service closes on 4:00 PM on Saturdays, instead of 5:00 PM, which I read of a different website.

The lady who answered was TERIFFIC. a LOT OF PATIENCE, She walked me through to find the type of thermostat I had, plus helped me to remove the front from the base plate. I replaced the batteries aND IT WORKS JUST FINE. No paying for a service call,Thank you for your help, patience and saving me money.

Everyone was polite and helpful, but having been in the military and captain of private vessals out at sea there is a need to know about the "elements" of the thing and not just how it works. Example: the "sending unit" part of the high and low settings on the R8182H are enacted as a direct result of the pickup coil or bellows of the sensor.. yes? thus it is possible to use it to turn things on and off which inits present configuration the lower range setting is designed to open the circuit to the pump and turn on the furnace to get more heat to maintain the temp for the hot water for showers. Makes sense, be sure princess does not scream as the water gets cold in her shower.
But, no longer using the unit a a hot water heater one only needs to have heat for the radiators. IN the same manner that AC units fan will stay on for a few minutes to draw outthe residual cold on the coils I too want to keep the pump on until the residual heat is drawn out of the boiler adn then when drops below preset temp it turns off. In colder areas they just keep the pump on all the time to keep pipes from freezing. So what it is the problem? there mist be a simple reversing of wires or resistors or something that will cause the switch to be closed when above a certain temp. and off when below a certain temp. Instead of going out and mounting a new separate thermostat in the furnace to do what I suggest it must be easier to simply use the lower range setting switch and change a wire or two to cause it to be used in reverse (on when hot and off when cold instead of what it is now, on when too cold and off once reaches desired temp.No drawings or schematic shows enough detail about the on off of this switch or how the bellows or electromagnetic pick up are and work so I can tap easily into the circuitry and reverse its workings and accomplish what I want to accomplish.
So now I must restudy and find electronics people who can maybe look at the schematic and tell me to cut, splice, remove, switch in order to work the way I want... gotta go ..Colin yeates

I had a question about compatibility issues between my old furnace humidifier transformer and humidistat, and the replacement that I just purchased. The lady that answered was most congenial and while she did speak with an accent, she was very fluent in her english. I wish I could be so fluent in any other language. She put me on hold for a short time after making sure that she understood the problem. My wait time was approx. 1 minute and she got right back to me with the answer. It was good news for me and well expalined. Thanks

I called Honeywell customer service about my new Thermostat. I spoke to someone from India who could hardly speak English. After a few minutes I hung up the phone and tried again. I called 4 times and got someone from India who could not speak English.

First of all, I prefer to speak with someone from the U.S. and not a foreigner. Secondly, these are American jobs that Honeywell is taking away from Americans.

Honeywell should be ashamed of themselves for transferring all the U.S. calls to India.

We all need to boycott Honeywll.

DO NOT purchase an air cleaner. So loud you can't sleep and people on phone want to know what the noise is. I called company because I wanted know about high/low settings seeing as there was not paperwork. On the third time of telling the woman there was no paperwork, I said that I was a intelligent person and could not only read but could see paperwork missing she gave me attitude. This is what you purchased. I told her I was returning it and she hung up. So much for company good will. Seeing as I work with ill people all day and muster up a great amount of patience when I think I don't have an ounce left in me, maybe she should think twice before she hangs up next time. You just never know what that person on the line has been through before they spoke to you.

Bought heater from Honeywell almost 100$ it was working for couple hours before it automatically shut itself off. I can turn it off and on and use it for about 3-5 mins before it keep doing that. that being said. worst company ever. Try something else. :}

I called customer service to get help on changing the temperature setting on my thermostat so my propane would kick on at 34. The people I talked to could hardly speak English and know one could help me. They said I had to get a contractor and I was not aloud to do that myself. Honeywell is ran by incompetent people and they do not tell me what I can and can not do with my thermostat. How stupid can a company get.

I have found that printing the manual helps. I have to play with it a lot to get it to work. There are a lot of complicated settings for each day. I wish that I could skip all of that and just have it ON. My advice is to find a temperature that you want by using the buttons to the top right and then hit run program. That usually helps. It usually takes about five minutes to get it going, but seriously, download the manual!

Your company sucks! I will NEVER BUY A THING THAT SAYS HONEYWELL ON IT. Your recording asked for three digits 1/1/9 after which it says you are experiencing high volume at this time so "please call again later". My problem is NOW-NOT LATER with that thermostat not working correctly.

Attention Paul Arneden

Recently tried to install one of your WiFi thermostats and discovered after the installation that it only works on hard wired routers. You don't advertize that on the box or materials inside the box; BAD MISADVERTISING. I spent a whole morning installing and trying to make the thing work, wasted time. I don't know if the retailer will allow a return and then I will be really mad(pissed).

Having problems with a Honeywell Elrctronic whole house air cleaner. Spoke to someone in India who didn't even know what it was and had no idea what to do. Called Honeywell Corp headquarters in Minnesota and they promised they would have a qualified technician call me. It is now 1 week later and no call,I arranged this weekend to have this Honeywell piece of crap removed from my HVAC system and replaced with a quality product from a reliable manufacturer.

Do you people really think Honeywell is the only company that outsources it's customer service? If you do, you are naive.

If you follow your principle, you will not be buying many products in the future.

It's a wonder that Honeywell is still in business. Tried to find a particular home thermostat and no one at Honeywell could direct me to a retailer or supply house. I suppose no one in India has any concept of customer service, knowledge of what Honeywell sells or care if someone is interested in buying their products.
