I've been waiting for a manager. Called in response to an email stating that someone was trying to access to my account. Connie is the customer service person with whom I talked. I had cancelled my account years ago. Found out that it had not been closed. To close it I was asked to send a picture of my driver's license. I sent it 4 times. 1st she said it was blurry. Tried 2 more times. She said she didn't receive it. The 4th time she said she received it. What's going on? Was this a scam. I was never asked for a government issued ID. I asked to speak to a manager. I've been holding for 45 minutes. Did I just get scammed?

I have been trying to get my money out of Venmo for weeks . I keep getting the run around on why my account easfrozenand the bogus codes they keep giving me to recover my account someone needs to file charges they are ow avoiding me

Why does Venmo require a working password and user I'd for my bank account? I have my utilities on automatic payments and never once had to give my password/user I'd to enable it. I absolutely REFUSE to give Venmo my personal information...it's unnecessary and risky for me. Plaid is a platform with problems and I'm not putting my bank accounts at risk for Venmo/plaid.
BE ULTRA SUSPICIOUS OF ANYONE ASKING FOR THIS INFORMATION!!

venmo makes you verify your account at random times, leaving you vulnerable to get declined when you have money sent to you. They make it so you can simply get declined for no reason, all due to a dumb verification process. Its like you have to verify before any little transaction, even having 1$ sent to you is difficult. you must have to go through a rigorous verification process just to receive your dollar and spend it. why would I have to verify and sign in to an app to use their debit card every purchase. Do I have to sign in to the venmo app before I think about using the venmo debit card to avoid any embarrassment and inconvenience?

They froze my account, for no reason.( it was not do to insufficient funds). I can not get anyone to answer my questions or unfreeze my account. They are holding my money hostage. They keep say, answer the email.. I have not gotten an email. It is absolutely the most frustrating thing.

Worse Coustomer Service Ever. Unable To Speak To A Manager Or Get A Number For Copr. Office. They Block The Account And Decline M=payment But Will Not Tell You Why Or How To Fix Whatever The Problem Is. This Is A Mess Of A Company And A Poor Excuse Of A Company Or Business. How Is That No One Can Provide A Number For Corp. Office Or A Manager To Address Your Concens

I've simply trying to log in to my account.
For two days.
I have been sending lots of money to my grandchildren and had no idea I was dealing with such a unprofessional and perhaps
shady company. I'm leaving Venmo and sending checks or real money from now on.

No way to talk to a human. I got a new phone and the phone number errors that the number is already registered. I sent message and left phone number text message response says my number is a landline when it isn't. I am in a serious situation which a family member is trying to send me money and I can't speak to a real life human so why does their services for my situation render me no solution is ludacris. Humans are needed.

This is BY FAR THE WORSE APP OR COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH DO NOT I CONNECTED MY BANK ACCOUNT TO MY VENMO APP EVERYTHING WAS VERIFIED AND SEEMED great well I was waiting for my debit card in the mail I have direct deposit so they told me I could just Venmo and get my money and since they where linked and already verified it would be the fastest so on July 13 I did. And called next morning when nothing was in my account so July 15 it is no longer in my real bank as pending it is complete and funds where sent to Venmo so I called Well Venmo said state law transfer take three to five business days to clear new VENMO account EVEN IF THEY ARE LINKED TO THE SAME PERSON to call back if I didn not see it on july 18 okay whatever so on that day still nothing they said I had to wait till 1158pm to call on july 19 I have called e mailed every hour for my money AND NOT ONE EMPLOYEE HAS AN ANSWER AND WHEN I ASK THEY EITHER HUNG UP OR END CHAT THEY WILL SAY ESCALATING THIS TO THE CORRECT DEPARTMENT AND HERE WE ARE july 22and I STILL HAVE NO ANSWER OR NO MONEY RUDE And definitely a scam Cause my mo he has been in the air for almost 2 weeks and my bank said if I open a dispute it will even take longer this is unacceptable and definitely hope THEY GET SHUT DOWN OR GET IT TOGETHER we are not taking 20Dollars this is Hundreds of dollars super devastated

Please do not use Venmo. If you try and send a large amoun. Anything over $100. Be careful. They will put a security alert on your account and try and keep your money.
