Just spoke to a very VERY understanding and helpful lady...I made sure I told how much I appreciate talking to her, she mentioned it is helpful to call either early mornings or late evenings. Hope that bit of info helps anyone else trying to communicate and correct bad info on credit reports.

Very unresponsive. Very poor english. Cannot handle problem. Call back time for "Special Handling" people is inconvenient for working people.

Have been sending letters of complaint for three years about credit and ID mix-up with absolutely no response from Trans Union.

I faxed my documents Aug 13th, 2012.. I didn't get response back from Transunion service about anything!!!

The staff named "SANDRA" asked me the same informantion AGIAN!!!!

She's so rush to speak, hard to understand her English:(

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.. provide more responsible and friendly staff.

The customer service is very poor. No one speaks english, the phone connections are terrible, and the staff can not answer any questions.

YOU ALWAYS GET A PERSON WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND THEN WHEN YOU ASK THEM TO SPEAK SLOW YOU GET TRANSFERED TO SOMEONE ELSE AND I NEVER FEEL GREAT GIVING OUT MY SOCIAL #. I HOPE ITS SAFE, THE PERSONNEL YOU TALK TO ARE VERY RUDE AND NON HELPFUL AND SHOULD NOT BE EMPLOYED. I called and got some one whom I could not understand, he couldn't speek proper english so I could answer all of the question correctly. I need to get the credit one that is frozen to be open because I need to refinance the Alaska house. I gave my social security # and my date of birth and my prirmary home address and the mail all goes down to THe TN house that I take care of for my daughter whom is in the military. so I need help in unlocking the frozen tranunion one. All I wanted to do was order a credit score from TransUnion. The person I spoke to asked for my name and then my ss#. I gave her the number and my first name but got scared and said I changed my mind and hung up. I couldn't understand half of what she was saying and felt this might not be a secure site. Shouldn't there be an "s" after http indicating SECURE ?
Gone are the good old days, I hope my ss# is safe. And it's hard to rate someone if you cannot understand their English through their accent.

This is unacceptable service. I need my reports immediately for legal purposes. I could not get reports from TRANSUNION for reasons #2 & #6 in question three on annualcreditreport.com. I really need these reports that I wasn't able to receive now.

I am entitled to my credit report when I have had adverse action taken against me with credit denial. However, you are trying to charge me 11.95 for my report. Unacceptable. I have filed a formal complaint in this matter with the FCRA. I have not received my annual yet and i am entitled when adverse action has taken place. Allow my account access to my free report due to Chase Credit card dening my credit. If you do not allow me to access this then I will pursue legal action against you immediately. you are in violation of my American rights. Unsuspend my account immediately so I can access it. I have already called you twice and verified my information with you and you still have not unlocked or unsuspended my account, You are in violation

My name is Iraida Rodriguez and I've attempted to get a problem resolved with TransUnion, but to no avail. I've tried getting two credit cards from two different companies and although I have a good credit rating, there's something on my report that is not letting these companies issue me a card. The other two credit reporting companies are OK, but there seems to be a problem with TU and I haven't been able to get it fixed. I've looked over my credit reports over and over again and I can't find anything negative, but TU has received a couple of letters from me with the needed documents, but they have not helped me. I also sent copies of everything to one of the credit card companies and I am still being denied. What's my next step before I write to the Federal Trade Commission to find out what can be done. What additional info do you need so that I can get this issue resolved, it's been an ongoing issue since March. I have not attempted to call because I want everything documented and not hearsay.

I had to unlock a my credit file with Transunion. The person I worked with was
named Sarah, she was just great, courteous, and very helpful. Tks. Sarah, without your help I would of been lost.

Had a similar experience to others with their "customer service". I called to cancel my subscription, and could not understand the person I was talking to. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. I gave her my social security #, and could not understand her next question. I had to ask her to please repeat what she had said, twice - and then she just hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and got the run around for about 5 minutes about how they didn't have a supervisor. Then, upon prompting, the woman I was talking to (who also hard to understand) finally admitted to having a supervisor, but then told me she was unavailable. I asked why, she mumbled something. Then I asked her to repeat why. She said she was unavailable, on the other line. I said I would wait. The 3rd and final person I talked to the "supervisor" was also difficult to understand, but finally managed an apology and to cancel my membership. I am going to be contacting the BBB or anyone who I think could make a difference. THIS IS A POORLY RUN COMPANY WITH NO SENSE OF PROFESSIONALISM!! Scary they have any of my personal information. I would go to any other site to get my credit scores. STAY AWAY!!

When I signed up I thought it was free for 5 days & that I had that long to cancel. They charged me on the day I placed the order.

I used my Discover Card and am "disputing" the charge.

There is a monthly fee and they are attempting to charge me more 8 days after the first charges.

I just tried to call and cancel my monitoring that I did not even know I had until it showed up on my bank statement and they offered me another free month of monitoring to just see if things change and then I asked if the cancellation would be done? He said, no, I will not lie, it will then be the $29.95 a month again. I said it wasn't that to start with, it was $16.95. He said well, it will be that and then the $9.95 for something else. I could understand him fine, even though he was not from the states, but he was definitely talking in circles. In the end, I ended up ANGRY and decided I am calling back in about one hour and talking to someone here in the states and will cancel. The way that the reps do not accept NO for an answer is just downright ANNOYING and ridiculous. You take our money and in the end, nothing is resolved.

I never knowingly subscribed to a monthly monitering service when I downloaded my annual FREE credit report, but was charged for it on a credit card ($29.99). I called last month to have it cancelled. This month I was billed $11.95 for monitering, which I have not been receiving....as it was supposed to be cancelled. I had to practically yell at the foreign agent to make him understand that I wanted to cancel this "servcie". He kept trying to sell me the monthly monitering over and over. VERY difficult to understand through his accent, too. NOT happy that my FREE annual report has not cost me $71.93 in "monitering" fees that I never requested.

there is a collection on my credit reoprt thats not mine i have never had my own business and never had a credit from chase bank for a business account.LVNV Funding is reoprting this.I you would look at all
the other credit and its excellent why would i pay all my credit except this one.

I just called your help line and spoke with a person named Allen.(Alan)not sure how he spelled his name. He was very curteous and helpful. I have not always have not always had a positive experience when trying to contact the credit agencies...but this was a very positive experience and i commend you for making this available. Tried to report that my Identification had been stolen. This man answered with an accent so thick that I had to ask everything twice. I apologized to him and said I am sorry I just cant undertand what you are saying. HE STARTED YELLING AT ME! UNBELIEVABLE!! This company should NOT be able to have the high responsibility of governing our social security numbers... especially with this lax of costumer service.
REPORT THEM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION 1-877-382-4357.
Hopefully they make them change their service department.

Transunion service is just horrible. Stuff still on my credit that was payed or reversed over a year ago and its next to impossible to get in touch with a live representative that can actually help

I have been trying to get a SSN dispute corrected with TransUnion for the past year. They have my brothers ss# instead of mine and they can't seem to correct it. Everytime i call this place i get someone with a heavier accent. You ask to speak to a supervisor the same fu**in person picks up using a different name ARE U KIDDING ME. This is absurd, you guys need to have a call center in America with people that speak proper english.

OMG these people are rude, you can barely understand them, and they just have poor customer service skills! Oh and they don't freaking care about resolving your concerns! It is absolutely horrible!

I called the dispute line which received someone from India call center which they could not help me asked to contact the fraud alert line which the American customer service rep seemed like she was going to help but then transferred me to a ligation voice mail!!! All I needed was help to lift my freeze since they never sent me a PIN to be able to do so!!! Wow! I cannot even access this account I froze!!! Now, I cannot obtain credit or put something in my name due to there terrible response - oh, I have been trying since Saturday to so this.

Just had a horrificly frustrating experience with TransUnion - kept getting people in India and/or Eastern Europe who couldn't understand my very simple issue. Finally scrolled down here and found out that all you have to do is ask for the American call center and they have to transfer you. Great tip for ALL financial companies from now on! So sick of giving my social security number to people outside the country. I asked to be transferred and was right away - had my problem solved in 2 minutes with someone in the US.

I, too, am very frustrated with the customer service provided. I have filed a dispute and was told things were resolved. They have not been. Someone else's information is showing on my report and is it NOT good. I did my own investigation and found out what happened, but when I called to provide the information to Transunion, I again was connected with some person sitting somewhere other than in the U.S. Really, how in the heck can we get English as a first language customer service people. So very, very frustrated and angry!!
