Cannot talk to a real person. I am a senior and unsure about navigating thru all this. Your customer service is terrible. Was charged a roaming fee on my phone even though I shut my phone off prior to crossing the border into USA. Phone was activated when we returned to Canada. Not impressed.

I drove into the city of downtown Kelowna today for the purpose of purchasing a new cell phone as mine is older and damaged. I have been a Koodo customer of approximately 20 years. I have never had any problem or issue with them and they have provided good customer service to me which is why I have remained loyal for so long. As Orchard Park Mall is the only location nearest to me I drove there today for the purpose of seeing if I could upgrade my phone while remaining on the same phone plan I have had for over 20 years. I approached the desk very happy and excited to have arrived and was very optimistic and looking forward to purchasing a new phone and begin speaking to a young man at the kiosk who I noticed was missing his right hand. I did not know this young man and had never spoken to him before. I proceeded to explain to him that I was a very long time customer and that I was there for the purpose of upgrading my phone. He asked me for a piece of identification and I gave him my driver's license which was the exact same license I have always had my entire life. He then asked me my phone number which I gave him. He brought up my customer profile on his computer showing I was already a paying customer. At some point he told me that he would not be able to offer me service because the last name on my account did not match the name on my driver's license. I told him that was not an issue, that I had simply chosen to use my maiden name, my birth name.
He asked me if I was divorced and I said that was none of his business and i could use my maiden name even if i were married as is my right under Canadian law. I told him that if it was a problem I could drive back home and come back with my birth certificate which also is the exact same last name on my current driver's license. He said no, he couldnt help me. I told him I was more than willing to do whatever he needed me to but nothing I offered was good enough for him. He flat out refused to help me. He told me he would not help me in any way and I asked him what I could do to resolve whatever the problem was. He told me that I had to speak to customer support, to which I said OK! and then he said that I would have to wait until Friday for someone to call me. I explained to him that I drove very far just to come to talk about phone plans...not my account, he said that he could not discuss anything with me about the plans that Koodo offers or the phones. It dawned on me at this point that he was refusing to help me because of discrimination about my married name and/or status. He seemed to take offense to my married status and stated loudly he would not help me and refused to offer any solutions or to even talk to me about the phone plans that koodo offers at that point. There were two other young men standing in the middle of the kiosk listening to this conversation and they both did not turn around or say anything. I was completely embarrassed and frustrated and felt I had exhausted every attempt to try to help whatever the problem was and when I realized that I was being discriminated against purposefully and that I would not be given any service from anyone at this establishment I simply turned and walked away.

I walked directly into Telus about 15 minutes later who had absolutely no problem signing me up for a brand new phone and switching me over to a new service. I gave the same driver's license and information to Telus that I did to Koodo and there were zero issues.
As a result of what happened to me today I will never be a Koodo customer ever again. I have been with them for approximately 20 years.
I tried to contact Koodo to resolve this issue with them directly only I was told a representative would not be calling me back until next week some time. Just as well, since I will never be a customer again.
I'm truly shocked that a woman who chooses to go by her maiden name would be so horribly discriminated against especially by a young man with only one hand, one would think that he understands what it is to be discriminated.

Your online help assistant and services are useless.

I wanted to see what's happening with my account/billing and cannot login. Even when select forgot password/email address nothing works. This scenario makes your online assistant useless as it puts me in a loop to sign in (which I can't do) and resting my email (which I also can't do).

I finally managed to bypass the requirement after saying my account is locked but the earliest scheduled phone call from an rep is 2 days away. Koodo's has horrendous digital support and I will be cancelling my 4 accounts as soon as I find anther carrier.

Impossible to talk to a real person............customer service is horrible!!! I have been with them for years and you can't even talk to a person. Shame on them. Time to change companies to a live company

I have been trying to get a hold of someone for 1 week now. Each time I schedule a call back, they either don't recognize that I press "1" for I'm here, please talk to me, or if they do recognize my "1" the phone rings endlessly with no one picking up. I have videos of the phone ringing for over 7 minutes, 14 minutes, continuously. I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE - seriously! Take my money but don't help, what kind of service are you operating.

So hard to contact your customer service .. needs to talk personally to a rep for an issue but it send us to a live chat that cannot answer my question.. please do the needful. Thank you

I am a very dissatisfied customer who is going to take her business elsewhere. I have been attempting to talk to a fricken real human for 7 days to get my bill sorted out as have been charged for data I did not use!! I have every day requested a call from the stupid assist chat and nobody has called me back. No number to get ahold of a human!! This is RIDICULOUS!

We were overcharged on a bill. We tried to call, it is impossible to get a human being to talk to. Then we tried to communicate through the internet but you want to charge a $5 to talk to you about an expensive bill. You should work on talking to your customers

Can't get a hold of an actual live human being and no bloody contact number you search gives you one. If this is how they service their customers than I'm out. This is far beyond frustrating and I've been trying for the past hour.

Don't worry about responding because I don't want to waste any more time waiting for an answer that may or may not come or have your AI ask a stupid question.

So useless. On their website it states that the account owner & manager have the same amount of access yet unless you're the owner theyre useless for you.. they won't let me cancel an order even though I have full access and placed the order? What useless people, that isn't fraud protection just useless garbage.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of someone at Koodo. Tried to get through the link wrote my message ran out of room, then sent it they wanted me to log in and the link they sent doesn't work have a blank screen. We pay for service in our fees and don't have any

I cancel Koodoo, can not get a hold of the real agent. I had a credit balance and on a community comments, it said Koodo will refund to credit card on file within a week after the last bill. But a month passed, and nothing happened.

I Have Been Happy With Koodo But Since I Have Had So Many Service Problems And Not Able To Contact Koodo Because I Do Not Text And They Never Answer Their Phone We All Thinking If Nothing Is Done Shortly To Call Direct We Probablu Will Be Changing Carriers. We Don't Want To But They Are Impossible To Contacct Also We Sent Them In Writing No Response. It Looks Like They Are Not Interested So We Are Waiting Till Monday. We Paid Every Month And They Said We Haven't They Are Lying And Td Bank Confirms We Have Paid. So This Shows You Also Koodo Does Not Care For Us Now- My Main Phone No. Is 416-998-5431 I Have Had This Phone For Many Years - I Am An Investigator And This Service Is Not What I Expected. I Do Ot Text.

Nothing worse, on holidays in Cuba using roam like home and discovered it didn't work but was still being charged daily rate. Called rep to no avail she said it was location problem. Drove all occer CamQuey area still no service got a notice saying my credit limit was reached and. Will be disconnected. .i am monthly customer with credit card on file and pay every month. She explained it was internal error not to worry phone will not be disconnected. It was and I missed very important calls. Been trying to contact Koodo to no avail. Virtual assistant totally useless to use. Asking for call back over 10 times no response no call back. Spent 60.00 with a Cuban registered phone to call mood and was on hold for 55 min. No answer. Neve has this terrible service from any one in my life. Still waiting for a response from Koodo.. 416 655 0753 Richard Romanin
