I bought a Cobra ( my first time buying a Dash cam ) SC 200D QHD+(1600P) last month and I am having a terrible time just trying to learn to operate. The camera never comes on when I need it to once I cut off the engine and when I do not want it to record it records what a waste. I do not know if I wasted my money having Best Buy installed it in my car and stick the charger in my charger in the back so it can run off my battery. I need help can anyone give me good advice I am desperate.

Just purchased a dash cam 810. I have been buying and using Cobra products for 20 years. This dash cam was a terrible waste of time and money. It simply won't record. The files only show up as audio files. I would love to fix this issue by reading the operating manual.... but, this product is sold without one. Or at least with one that explains the functions of the device. I am going to return this piece of garbage and purchase a dash cam from one of your competitors. And, the next time i chose to purchase any piece of electronics... i will remember how your product wasted several hours of my time trying to figure out how to use it.
